ADDITION / ALTERATION TO WINDOWS AND FLOORS OF TYPE IV MARRIED QUARTERS E-1 TO E-8 (32 QTRS) AT GANESHKHIND DRDO ESTATE UNDER GE(I) RND PASHAN, PUNE

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tilling 10mm to 25mm thick including cement mortar bedding ( but not backing), removing serviveable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cement concrete 1:2:4 in pavements/sub base of floor laid to required slope and camber in panels as required including consolidation finishing and tamping complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying double charged Vitrified tiles of size 600mm x 600mm in floor with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only. Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying double charged Vitrified tiles with water absorption less than 0.08 % and conforming to I.S. 15622, of approved make, in all colours & shade, in skirting, riser of steps, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ sqm including grouting the joint with white cement & matching pigments etc complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead completeall as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 12mm thick rendering in cm (1:6) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces of wall complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and applying distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade on new work (two coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling doors, windows and clerestory window of area 3 sq. metres and below (steel or wood) shutters including chowkhats, architrave, hold fast etc and making good as existing complete and stacking within 50 metres lead all as specified and directed.

Taking out existing wooden door shutter, repair by cutting, painting etc. and refixing of repaired door shutters to existing door frames, including replacement of hinges with screws, etc. as required, all complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing aluminium frame work for windows (three track), ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be Powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately).
