SH 1: CIVIL WORK

EXCAVATION AND EARTH WORK

Earth work in excavation in foundation and trenches etc. in all kinds of soil (excluding soil containing 50% or more of shingle or small size boulders upto 30cm size, saturated soil and rock), lift upto 1.50m and stacking the excavated soil not more than 3m clear from the edge of the excavation and returing the stacked soil in 15cm layers, when required, into plinth sides of foundation etc consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus soil as directed within a lead of 50m.

Re-filling excavated earth in foundations and plinth etc. in 15cm layer including ramming and watering etc. complete.

Filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.

CONCRETE WORK

Providing and laying in foundations and plinth cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centring and shuttering.

Providing and laying damp proof course 38mm thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 12.5 mm nominal size)

Extra for providing and mixing water proofing material in cement concrete work in the proportion recommended by manufacturers.

Applying a coat of hot bitumen (mashphalte 80/100 or equivalent) using 1.70 kg. per sqm. on damp proof course after cleaing the surface with brushes and finally with a piece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil.

Making plinth protection 50 mm thick of cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 stone aggregate using 20 mm nominal size) over 75 mm bed of stone ballast 40 mm nominal size well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand including finsihing the top smooth.

STEEL WORK

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

FINISHING

ALUMINUM WORK

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS : 1285, fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips, or with expansion hold fasteners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC/neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. Providing and fixing stainless steel (SS 304 grade) adjustable friction windows stays of approved quality with necessary stainless steel screws etc. to the side hung windows as per direction of Engineer-incharge complete. 255 X 19 mm.

DSR-25.2 Designing, fabricating, testing, protection, installing and fixing in position semi (grid) unitized system of structural glazing (with open joints) for linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building for all heights and all levels,

Providing and supplying Spandrel Glass Panels comprising of 6 mm thick heat strengthened monolithic float glass of approved colour and shade with reflective soft coating on surface # 2 of approved colour and shade so as to match the colour and shade of the IGUs in the vision panels etc. ,all complete for the required performances as specified, as per the Architectural drawings, as per the approved shop drawings, as specified, and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge. For payment, only the actual area of glass on face # 1 of the glass panels (but excluding the area of grooves and weather silicone sealant) provided and fixed in position, shall be measured in sqm.
