Replacement of old damaged components of 914mm dia. reflux valves/ sluice valve on Rising Main No. 04 along with other allied accessories/works at LIS TPH by way of cutting MS rising main from distance piece fitted between reflux Valve and sluice valve by holding 914 mm dia. Reflux valve and sluice valve with the help of heavy duty Hydra crane having long boom which can lift 914mm reflux Valve (of Weight upto 4Tonne) from approx. 50 feet distance very carefully without any harm to Valves, rising main, VT pump , cable trenches etc or building and opening/ cutting of rusted nuts and bolts of flanges of reflux and sluice valve, dismantling cement concrete block by using Jack/sledge hammer etc to clear foot of NRV, lifting reflux valve & upper half(dome) along with door and stem rod etc / damaged parts of sluice valve, shifting them to workshop by loading into Truck/Tipper(Mechanical Transport) and safely unloading at workshop using hydra crane/other means. It includes reconstruction of concrete block after installation of valves to their position to embed foot/base of reflux valve in the block providing proper support to reflux valve. Reconstruction of block involves cost of material, labour charges including carriage upto site, laying of cement concrete, centering, shuttering, curing etc. Extracting out worn-out components Viz flaps, flap pins, bushes, bypass arrangement such as valve and pipe, nuts and bolts from the 900 mm reflux valve. Cleaning the valve from inside as well as outside and making inside surface smooth by removing rust, clay with emery paper, grinder etc . Providing and fitting of two Nos. flaps (top and bottom) fitted with door rings and GM bushes in Hinges (as per sample provided), providing and fitting seat rings -3Nos, door ring of GM for third door, GM bushes door hinge to 3rd door and hinge pins-06 Nos. along with nuts and other items suitable for pressure rating PN 1.6 (as per sample). Replacement of GM bushes for 3rd and other door hinges 8 No.s. The job includes fitting of flap rings and seat rings by properly riveting/screwing with their respective components using rivets/screws of required material so that rings firmly secure with the body/door to with stand required working pressure. The size and material of parts should be as per original. Inlet and outlet shell of the body shall be fitted by providing high quality gasket, gland packing, adhesive and HT bolts and nuts. New parts fitted should be of high quality and grade to withstand maximum working pressure. The job also includes repairs of one no bypass valve by way of dismantling sluice valve, extracting damaged parts, fabricating and fitting new Gun Metal spindle nut and spindle rod, and assembling valve using good quality gasket, gland packing, nuts and bolts, adhesive etc. The job also includes painting of valves by applying a coat of Red Oxide primer and two coats of super enamel (Black). Reconditioning of 914 mm dia. sluice valve on the rising main No.4 by way of dismantling of wheels, spur gear and pinion fitted on the top of stem rod of the sluice valve. Dismantling the top cover of the sluice valve after cutting damaged nuts and bolts with gas cutter. Dismantling and extracting worn-out/damaged components viz stem rod, wedge Nut, flap, flap pins, nut and bolts etc. Cleaning valve from inside and making surface smooth by using emery paper removing dust, clay, fitting of flap , Providing and fitting New Stem Rod, wedge nut and providing and fitting of new gland, HT bolts and nuts along with allied items. Finishing and polishing seats. Assembling sluice valve using new items /parts in place of damaged ones. Top body cover is to be fitted using high quality gasket, gland packing and adhesive and new HT bolt and nuts -22 nos.. The new parts fitted should be high quality and grade to with stand maximum working pressure. The job also includes painting of valves by applying a coat of Red Oxide primer and two coats of super enamel (Black). Loading of newly fabricated and along with other components in the mechanical transport and shifting back to workshop and unloading at site with the help of crane. The job involves providing and fitting of new HT bolts -48 Nos. of flanges as per sample, deployment of crane for holding and the placing sluice valve and reflux valve at proper position and fitting sluice valve and reflux valve on the rising main by providing and fitting of HT nuts, bolts, washers, rubber insertion sheet between two mating flanges, after making proper alignment and welding M.S Rising Main between sluice valve and reflux valve by providing overlapping ring of suitable Size to make leak proof joint. Complete job includes hire charges of crane, manual labour and material required and charges of all tools and tackles required for execution of job.
