REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF DG SET INCLUDING AMF PANEL BOARD AND PERIODIC SERVICING AND CONNECTED WORKS AT CHAF BANGALORE

Material & Labour for supply, carrying out B check maintenance of DG set including the replacement of fuel filters, lub oil filters, SLO by pass filters and engine oil as per manufacturer specifications and quantity complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge for : 400 KVA DG set , Location : Power House OT Make:- Kirloskar Type 8K 15TA with AMF panel Notes:- (i) 'B' check shall be carried out once in every six months or 250 hours of running of DG Set whichever is earlier. Servicing of DG Set alongwith connected Alternator and Panel Board and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs (ii) Fan belt, Air filter, Engine oil and radiator coolant oil required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares/ filling of oils shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (iii) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item,contractor to be provided fuel filter, oil filter, water filter,top head gaskets,fuel pipes, battery terminal, battery lead and distilled water. (iv) List of checks to be carried out under 'B' check is attached as Appendix 'B' to the Particular specifications. and the spares and consumables shall be purchased from Original manufacturers/ manufacturer authorized stockiest/ distrubutor/ dealer only by the contractor and submit GST vouchers to Deptt while claiming payments and also the contractor always keep minimum required consumable quantities in hand as a pro-active/ preventive maint/ breakdown.(v) A record of repairs carried out in each visit of each DG set installation to be maintained separately duly signed by Contarctor, JE and Engineer-in-charge. The maintenance certificate duly signed by contractor and concerned JE E/M and Engineer-in-Charge seperately of each DG set visit.

Material & Labour for Disconnecting the inlet and outlet supply of the fuel tank cleaning the tank internally by draining out the fuel into clean container , taking out the corroded sludge and foreign impurities ,cleaning with pressure water and air, drying the tank, preparing the external old painted surface of tank including steel platform /stand of fuel tank and painting the prepared surface with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing shade, including writing date of cleaning/capacity of fuel tank complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for painting the Generator Set including acoustic enclosure and corresponding AMF panel complete with existing colour coding of capacity 160 KVA to 400 KVA after preparation of rough unequal surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over coat of primer on old steel surface by spary painting in and including lettering and marking i.e Engine make, Engine Sl No, Alternator make, Alternator Sl No etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for Transportion of pollution testing equipment to the site of installation of DG sets at CHAFB and carriying out pollution test through approved agency as per laid down norms, recording the results for each DG set separately in proper printed forms and submitting the same in duplicate to the Engr-in- charge all as directed. Note - Photo graphy to be carried out by JE or his deputed MCM/FGM while carrying out pollution testing of each DG set and the same photos to be encl with payment claims along with testing results duly signed by pollution testing Engineer, contractor, JE E/M and Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for painting of exhaust pipe of DG sets with heat resistant paint of approved quality including preparation of surfaces of exhaust pipe complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in repair/replacement of Automatic voltage regulator (AVR) full wave phase controlled adjustable (0-95V ) 6A/12A Suitable for DG Set upto 400 KVA as per site requirements in all respects including connecting and testingcomplete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of sealed Maintenance free Lead acid battery, 12 volt, 180 AH Confirming to IS 14257-1995 complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & Labour for Repair / overhauling radiator assembly of DG set by disconnecting and removing from the engine, dismantling the top and bottom chambers, descaling the sediments, scales, corrosion etc. by means of acid, cleaning and high pressure water washing, air cleaning, re-assembling the same with new gaskets including arresting leakages, if any and fixing to the engine with new hoses, clips etc. all as required complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The rate quoted shall be inclusive of transporting of the radiator to the workshop and back and all incidental charges.

Material & Labour for Repair / overhauling Self starter assembly, 12/24 Volt DC Make: Delco Remi / Lucas TVS assembly of DG Set by disconnecting and removing from the engine, cleaning of all accessories, replacing of worn out parts such as actuator ,gear, solenoid coil ,carbon brushes, bushes, contact plates, jumping leads and seals, revarnishing the field coil, armature and re-assembling the same and re-fixing into the engine including testing all as per original manufacturer's instructions complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE :- The rate quoted by the contractor is deemed to include for transportation of the item from site to the workshop as applicable and back.

Supply and fix in replacement of SMPS based Battery charger module 24/12 volt 15/20A Amps having CC,CV, trickle,float and boost charging mode suitable for AMF Panels of DG Set 40/70/125/160/200/250/400 KAV capacity complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of Lub oil pressure transducer suitable for DG set upto 400 KVA system as per site requirements in all respects all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material & Labour for testing and calibrating of all safety sensors of DG set such as Lub oil temperature, lub oil pressure, water/coolant temperature ,magnetic pickup, Taking out the sensors and physically test the parameters (pressure,temperature,speed) and calibrated with standards also ensure that DG sets get tripped when low engine oil level , high water/coolant temperature, high lub oil temperature and over speed , if found abnormal the saftey system is repaired and tested up to get desire result complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Material & Labour for repair/replacement of rusted DG set Acoustic enclosure by cutting the damaged portion and replace with 2mm MS sheet by welding/revitting/bending/cutting etc and paint the new portion matching the existing colour with spray painting of synthetic enamel paint upto two coats complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge ,

Material & Labour for Cleaning, dusting and servicing of AMF panel including MCCB's,contactor, relays, controllers ,Bus bars tightening cable connections, replacing of worn out parts,wiring and connected items/Mechanical parts such as doors,hinges, etc and also testing the AMF panel for its smooth functioning and ensure all DG set saftey protection such as high lub oil , low lub pressure,high temp water/coolant ,over speed ,under voltage/over voltage ,phase sequence tripping system function satisfactorily as specified and directed by the Engineer in charge. (Note:- Rate quoted deemed to include for wires,nuts bolts,screws,relays, and removing of defective items where required)
