M & L for Laying, jointing and testing LT under ground electric power cable crossed linked polyethylene ( XLPE) insulated, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, ISI-7098 Marked, with aluminium conductor multi stranded, heavy duty 1100 Volts grade of size 16 sqmm cross sectional area, 4 core laid in trenches/ laid under floor or fixed naked with walls / on poles/ in ducts /in GI pipes etc. with and including MS Clamps, nuts , bolts, washers complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, protection bricks/ tiles/ block and pipe shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

M&L laying well burnt old size bricks, sub class "B" bricks, straight or curved on plan, laid flat with width equal to length of brick, laid dry over electric cable for protection complete all as specified & directed.

Supplying and fixing Galvanised mild steel pipe /tubing, of size 40 mm bore dia, light grade complete with all fittings, laid in trenches / under roads, drain, paths, fixed to poles/ walls with Mild steel clamps, bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & Earth work, Mild steel clamps, bolts , nuts and washers shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply & Fixing 6 Sqmm x3 core nominal cross sectional area multistranded aluminium conductor cable, over all PVC sheathed, 1100 Volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated and PVC sheathed complete all as specified & directed.

Preparation of old painted surfaces and painting of LT steel tubular pole 9 mtrs long from bottom to top with aluminium paint and painting to bottom up to 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC coping with synthetic enamel paint 2 coats in black and Yellow/white alternate strip including numbering in 8 cm height of number with white paint both paint aluminium /synthetic duly approved by engineer –in-Charge and complete all as specified and directed. .

Dismantling of existing old damage pole PCC & Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates, as in copping of poles complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) 150 mm thick complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for submain wiring alongwith earth wire with the FRLS PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor cable 2x6 sqmm & 1x4 sqmm as earth wire with and including surface PVC casing caping of size not less than 20 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting,dismantling and taking down carefully ACSR conductor from poles of any size and setting a side complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling taking down old cross arms, clamps, braces etc of any section from pole including nuts, bolts, washers complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning out door type cubical panel board outer shell made out of 3.15 mm thick MS sheet and inner shell made out of 2 mm thick MS sheet and MS angle section 50x50x6 mm on PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 platform 40 cm above the ground level and 45 cm below the ground level, frame factory fabricated with front and back openable double door system lockable/openable by Keys having chromium plated 19 mm dia fancy lock, louvers and air vent gasket for natural flow of air “U” type gasket shall be used to make the outer shell completely vermin proof .suitable for 3 phase 4 wire 415 Volt, 50 Hz, tested at CPRI for 35 MVA rupturing capacity at 415 Volts factory fabricated having modern fabrication and testing process which includes seven tank pre treatment process comprising of degreasing, rinsing, de-rusting, rinsing, phosphatising, rinsing and passivation followed by powder coat painting having thickness not less than 100 microns provided with suitable gasket to make it dust/vermin proof and general construction confirming to IS:8623/93. M&L Earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick, burried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around the plate, using GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth strip electrode bolted or rivetted to earth plate at one end and connected to equipments at another end, GI earth strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI 'light grade' pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipments,20 dia bore GI pipe 'light grade' as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of earth plate, Test point , GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in pit chamber and RCC pit cover 50mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, duly reinforced with MS TMT bars 8mm dia @ 100 c/c both ways with 10mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor/wall all as described in electric plate of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion.Note :- If the desired earth resistance is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department.
