A. PREPARATORY AND ENABLING ITEMS
Designing temporary supporting system as per relevant BIS code for the respective building components prior to breaking loose damaged concrete for repair /applying FRP(if reqd) system to relieve load from the structure, using heavy-duty flat headed steel props of appropriate capacity and height upto 4m height( the bottom of the structural element) erected vertically in plumb, braced horizontally and diagonally at centre with each other using min 40 Nb steel pipes and supporting on continuous 4" x 3" wooden runner just below the structural element, resting on wooden block to support the structure provisionally during repair and jacketing etc. and maintaining them in position till required as directed by the engineer in charge. (Payment shall be made only once for a particular structural member irrespective of the number of times it is used for repair of that particular structural member.)

Providing and fixing in position 4 to 6 mm thick plywood covering on windows and other utilities / machineries / flooring, etc. to protect them from falling debris, including preparation and erection of wooden frames for its support and ensure its dust tightness, etc., complete and removing the same after completion of the work. (mode of measurement: surface area covered by plywood measured once for every erection and removing cycle)
Providing and laying in position of 12 mm thick each in two layers of HDPE cellular foam sheet as protective layer on existing flooring including a separation layer of plastic/ paper of thickness minimum 2 mm in between,and maintaining the same till completion of respective work, removing and cleaning the same to restore the original shine after completion of work, disposal of debris outside the premises etc., complete.
Providing and erecting nylon/ polypropylene/ polyethylene dust net of width min 5m horizontally from the building and along the periphery of area under repairs, stitching of adjoining nets with each other and maintaining the same during repairs to control debris and dust from spreading beyond construction work including removing and disposal of the net after completion of work etc. as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
S&F Air bubble wrap sheet, minimum weight 100 GSM, superior cushionary, shock resistance, casting protection, reduces damge of item to cover the wooden wall clading, window glass, façade glass etc, including stiches, pasting tape/brown tape etc as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge
B. STRUCTURAL REPAIRS : CHIPPING AND DISMANTLING
Carefully chipping , removing existing stone cladding upto any thickness including clamps by low impact high frequency hammer/chipper without damaging the original sound brickwork or concrete including racking of joints, daily cleaning and stacking of debris at prescribed location in polypropylene/ paper bags, disposing off the debris so generated on weekly basis out side the premises, etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in - charge.

Examining concrete by tapping with light hammer and marking of the loose concrete areas of structural elements in straight line geometrical forms, grooving the edges same with grinder up to 5 -10 mm depth without damaging existing rebars, carefully removing carbonated concrete around the rebars up to 10 mm depth by low impact high frequency hammer/ chipper without damaging the sound concrete, daily cleaning and stacking of debris at prescribed location in polypropylene/ paper bags, disposing off the debris so generated on weekly basis outside the premises, etc, complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. C. IMPROVING MICROSTRUCTURE OF CONCRETE : GROUTING
Improving Microstructure of concrete by grouting. Providing NRV Nozzles- a. Identifying the building component to be repaired for structural cracks/ porosity/ honeycombing/ imperfections by injection grouting. b. With the help of electrically operated angle grinder with diamond saw blade, make V shaped groove crack line, for identified cracks, of up to 10mm wide and up to 10mm deep. The crack line will be cleaned by air blower. c. Sealing of exposed V groove 10 mm deep and 10 mm wide crack line/ honeycombing/ imperfections with solvent free, moisture tolerant, thixotropic, structural adhesive mortar. d. Drilling holes of 12mm dia, up to 75-100 mm deep in beams and columns and 50-75mm deep(but not exceeding half of the thickness of the slab) in slab at the interval of 300-500 mm in staggered manner or along the crack line as directed by the Engr-in-charge including cleaning of the holes by air blower and inserting 10-12 mm dia Teflon NRV (Non Returnable Value) nozzle compatible with epoxy injector and having machined external end to receive outlet of Grouting Gun. Fix it inside the hole by applying thixotropic epoxy solvent free moisture tolerant putty to ensure complete sealing and allow to cure the system for minimum of 8 Hrs before grouting including cutting nozzle projections, excess putty, if any, over concrete element by grinding, leveling and finishing the external surface, after completion of the work of grouting, etc. complete.

Improving Microstructure of concrete by grouting. Provision of groting- Grouting Injecting low viscosity grout by pressure and using pressure epoxy injector with accessories till nozzles refused to accept the grout, Including Mixing material components part a and part b in required quantities as per manufacturer instruction by weigh batching Filling the grouting gun with grout, and maintaining desired pressure in the gun, air compressor and at exit (minimum 3 to 4 kg/Cm2) by a mechanism to monitor both pressure gauges and controlling the same by release valves and release the grout as per requirement simultaneously to grout the structural element through prefixed nozzles till its refusal. Seal the nozzle with thixotropic epoxy putty after the refusal. Note :leakages through other nozzles or cracks are required to be monitored while grouting and such points to be sealed as and when required without any extra cost.

D. STEEL PROTECTION : ANTI-CORROSIVE TREATMENT AND CORROSION INHIBITOR
Clean existing reinforcement with wire brush/ rotary wire brush to make surface free from rust scales, loose material, dirt etc. complete and providing,applying two coats of rust remover or alkaline rust converting primer and form a corrosion resistant, insoluble and adherent protective layer , including cleaning the reinforcement,wirebrushing to remove loose rust spalls, with time interval of 1hour between the coats use. The location will be as approved by Engr in charge.

E. PROVISION OF ADDITIONAL REBAR
Installing rebars of dia 10 mm and above in the building components i.e beam, column and slab with chemical anchoring compound by Drilling holes of dia and depth as per manufacturers instruction complete all as directed.
.Providing and fixing additional steel rebar 10 mm dia and over Fe500D or higher grade as per required diameter in various structrural elements such as columns, beams, and slabs etc. to replace the lost rebar section due to corrosion including cutting, bending and fixing the bar ,tieing with preleft bars by GI binding wire,retouching local damages in coating if any with cementitious coating,etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
F. CONCRETE SECTION BUILDUP
Rebuilding the section of damaged RCC elements to its original size or as directed by Engineer in Charge in thickness exceeding 40mm but not exceeding 100mm by providing and casting with pre-packed dual shrinkage compensated micro concrete of minimum grade of M40 and above including providing and fixing of watertight foam faced finish shuttering of minimum 18 mm thick with supporting framework ,all lead and lift, mixing, placing, deshuttering, leveling the surface by grinding off cementitious slurry of construction joints differences if any to satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, curing etc, complete all as specified.

G. FRP COMPOSITE WRAPS AND LAMINATES FOR BEAMS
Surface Preparation for Laminates (CFRP plates). (a) Mark the structural element as approved by Engineer in charge for providing CFRP laminates. (b) Measure the surface moisture on the concrete surface by moisture meter to ensure that it is below 4%. If it is above 4%, make it below 4% by mechanical means such as heating. Drying etc. Clearing the application area of any projections by using vacuum enabled surface grinders. (c) Filling honeycomb area, voids, undulations if any with thixotropic epoxy mortar or putty, including removing of dust, Oil residue, laitance etc. so as to achieve a leveled surface for further laminate system application. Note:- application area marking if any diminished during the above process to be reinstated for further process. Note : This item is not to be measured where ever the wrap are provided alongwith laminate.
Providing and applying the marked application area with surface primer compatible with 100 mm wide and 1.4 mm thick non-prestressed CFRP laminates system and allowing it to cure as per manufacturers specification. Based on drawings,the precured FRP element are to be trimmed to the required application/woking lenghts and applied with even and laminar layer of structural grade,non sag,epoxy adhesive and placed in position as per manufacturer's specification,cleaning of the spilled over epoxy from sides fo laminates and filling of gaps of upto 2 mm thick if any,etc complete. Note :- Single and continous laminate to be used for application i.e lapping not allowed (Rate includes wastages also if any).
Surface Preparation for Wraps(CFRP Fabric). (a) Mark the structural element as approved by Engineer in charge for providing CFRP wraps. (b) Measuring the surface moisture on the concrete surface by moisture meter to ensure that it is below 4%. If it is above 4%, make it below 4% by mechanical means such as heating, drying etc. (c) Clearing the application area of any projections, rounding off corners and edges to 25 mm radius by using vacuum enabled surface grinders, and cleaning it properly complete all as specified and directed. (d) Filling honeycomb areas, voids, undulations if any with epoxy mortar or putty including removing of dust, oily residue, lattiance, etc so as to achieve a levelled surface for further Fiber system application. Note:- Application area marking if any diminished during the above process to be reinstated for further process.
Providing and applying the marked application area with surface primer compatible with proposed FRP Wrap system and allowing it to cure as per manufacturer’s specification. The Fiber sheet is to be trimmed to the required length giving due consideration to end and side laps or projection if any as per working drawing and placing the same over a even layer of epoxy adhesive (saturant) applied over concrete surface and saturating the same, removing of air voids with tamping roller, cutting of any loose threads, fiber, if any and applying second coat of saturant over the fabric sheet as per manufacturers specification, including surface preparation by sand sprinkling for receiving plaster, etc complete. Conduct pull out test at minimum 3 locations after wrapping to ensure good bond.

Identifying the position of crack along the RCC element and highlighting the same. Cross drilling 14 mm dia and upto 200mm deep holes at inclination of 30 to 45 degrees in opposite direction maintaining a spacing of 300 mm between them and inserting non corrosive 12 mm dia high tensile strength precured Carbon Fiber bars in the drilled holes, by saturating it using structural grade,non sag, epoxy adhesive as per manufacturers specification levelling the surface etc complete. Note: Single and continous FRP bar to be used for application across the crack
Cutting a 15mm deep slit across the damaged or cracked element roughly 4mm wide; providing and inserting noncorrosive Carbon fiber reinforced polymer plate about 10 mm wide 1.5 mm thick and 300 mm long with inbuilt end holds in the slit as above, filling slit with epoxy adhesive thereby binding both the weathered or detoriated portions together allow it to cure filling the surface crack with matching shade filler wherever required
Demarking the locations of CFRP anchors on the newly wrapped RCC surfaces with proper spacing, drilling 12mm dia and 75 to 100 mm deep holes, saturating the fixed end of CFRP anchor with epoxy resin and inserting anchors in the holes,spreading and pasting the 8 FRP petals of anchor over the FRP with saturant,finishing, levelling with roller, etc complete.
Chipping out / Groove cutting the RCC column cover by mannual hammering or Chipping including cutting, grinding levelling etc complete and application of a suitable priming coat after necessary surface preperation ( 110mm wide & 12 to 15mm thk. )
Providing, transporting, lifting, cutting in 100mm wide- & 12 mm thick high grade 450 Mpa and above tensile strength strips of required length, including pre prepared surface confirming to minimum of SA 2.5 grade 85% clean. A suitable method shall be used to ensure the required surface profile is achieved. The prepared steel surface shall be free of materials including mortar, cement, dust, dirt and oil at the time of installation. Including butt welding’s to continuity at relevant Floor to floor join, levelling by grinding at site, tapping with 18 mm dia at every 250 mm length including scanning of RCC for rebar locations, and fixing in position on slab by maintaining proper alignment in grooves as per detailed drawing etc complete including application of suitable dielectric barrier coatings over strip, all lead & lifts, etc complete. M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces on wall and applying two coats coats of acrylic emulsion exterior grade weather proof paint over a coat of weather resistant acrylic primer over a coat of 1-2 mm thick wall care putty complete all as specified and directed.
Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness ,size,quality or description) from metal frame including punching out or drilling out old glazing pin/clips and providing and fixing ones complete all as specified and directied.
S&F in repair 6 mm thick clear glass fixing in existing roof slab of foyer area including cutting in required shape,beading ,silicon sealant ,and another neccessary arrangement etc. all as directed by Engr -in -Charge .

A. SELF SUPPORTING ROOFING SYSTEM
1. Designng, supplying and fixing of SEAMLESS SELF SUPPORTING ROOFING SYSTEM on the existing building roof level of the part of the existing building of Manekshaw Centre. 2. The entire roofing system including connections (system for integration with existing structure ) shall be designed and executed only by the agency which has necessary fabricating,designining and installation capabilities. 3. The scope of this item includes design of facade also duly integrated with the roofing system. However, various items of facade improvement is catered as separate items. 4.The agency shall be approved by the Accepting Officer. 5. The arch design, material and structural design related specification are as under:- (a) Architecture design and Material Specification The arch drawing of the proposed roofing system is as per drawings mentioned in list of drawings . Any changes arising due to site conditions or during the structural design process shall be permissible, if agreed by the Accepting Officer. (b) The material specifications shall be as per PS. (c) Structural Design (i) The entire roofing system and facade system including structural glazing matching with the existing Facade of Manekshaw Centre shall be designed by the manufacturer of the roofing sheet. The integrated structure shall have compatibility and no water ingression. (ii) The analysis shall be carried out for a span and central rise considering the live load, wind load, dead load and seismic factors satisfying the requirements of latest BIS codes and NBC 2016, Roofing shall be designed as per ASCE-720 international building code 2002 in case no BIS code exists.
(iii) Since the roofing system is to be supported on the existing structural elements of the existing building, therefore the integration system of new and old structural elements will be planned and executed considering this aspect and stability of self supported roofing structure. The loading capacity of the existing structural elements used for transfer of new loads will be checked by the contractor. (iv) The rianwater drainage shall be designed for max rainfall capacity as per region and with no overlow at site. The steel gutter shall be designed having beveled edges to receive/support curved roofing sheet panels. (v) Design concept, base report will be submitted to the Accepting Officer before commencement of the structural design. (vi) Analysis details and structal design drawings duly correlated with arch design drawings shall be vetted from any of the IIT/NIT/CBRI for statisfaction of all codal provisions and certification of the entire self supported roof structure/drainage system/Facade for structural stability point. The completed drgs wil be submitted to the GE for his approval after satisfactory before commencement of execution of this item. (vi) Payment of facade and drainage item will be done separately against the items here-in-after. Note :- The work will be executed taking all necessary precuations and safety measures. M&L for taking down unfixed/damaged Under deck/floor insulation of any thickness incl screws/pvc/wooden fastener carefully from celling at maneksahw center for refixing the same at their existing location complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge.
M&L for refixing the serviceable Under deck/floor insulation of any thickness as retrived against item no 33 by using adhesive solution/screws/pvc gutties/wooden fastener/washer etc of any thickness at their existing location at Manekshaw center complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge.
Supply & fixing 19 mm thick Under deck/floor insulation with closed cell nitirle rubber (class 0 ) of density of 40-60 Kg/m3 & thermal conductivity of 0.033-0.38 W/mK and with factory laminated aluminums foil having antimicrobial and antifungal properties as per specification .( K-FLEX ST ANTIMICROBIAL) all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge . Note :- Complete duct system fixed under respective item is to be taken for leakages/balancing and rates for same are deemed to be included is in unit.(a) 19 mm thick
1. Disconnecting of all electrical connections of fire/smoke/heat/multi detectors/beam detectors installed at above the ceiling and below the ceiling and dismantling/unscrewing/ taking down of old serviceable/unserviceable adderessable fire /smoke/heat detectors/beam detectors along with base plate for keeping in safe custody for reuse of serviceable detectors after completion of false ceiling/ structural work of bldg complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.
Note :- 1. Before dismantling the sensor/detectors complete photographic and video graphic evidence will be submitted by the contractor in triplicate. also testing of sensor/detectors to be done before dismantling to ascertain the serviceability of the same and kept on record. 2. Incase of any damage to the sensor/detectors while dismantling/handling/custody or refixing the same wil be replaced by the contractor with same make and model at his own cost.
Dismantling/taking down of old unserviceable wiring from all type of detectors to fire alarm panel laying at above the ceiling and below the ceiling complete at manekshaw centre all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge
Refixing of serviceable fire/smoke/multi detectors/beam detectors at its original location as obtained from item Srl No 1 above complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note :- 1. Before refixing cleaning of dust particles of sensor/detectots be carried out.
Supply and laying of multi-stranded copper conductor cable 1.5 Sq. mm nominal cross-sectional area, two core, PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLSH cable 1100 volts grade for sub main wiring. (Make- Havells/Polycab/Finolex/ RR Kabel)
Supply and laying in replacement of steel conduit pipe ISI marked medium grade of size not less than 20mm dia including of all accessories i.e saddles,screws , clamps bend etc complete all specified and as directed by engr-in-charge.

Inspection, testing and commissioning of fire alarm cum fire detection system complete including fire detectors, smoke detectors, heat detectors, response indicators, wiring etc. including reprogarmming of addressable zones including searching the faults, up/down loading software of main control panel at Manekshaw Center for entire system by authorized trained/experienced technical Engineer of OEM/Authorized vendor complete at Manekshaw Centre all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. complete testing done by authrized OEM only all as required and directed by Engr-in-Charge upto complete satisfaction of the users.
