M&L for provisioning and laying of waterproofing treatment with polymeric APP membrane of 3mm thick, consisting centre core of 160 gms/sqm polyester Non Woven Fabric over and including 15 mm thick rendering in Cement Mortar 1:4 with water proofing compound. The laying consist the following complete all as specified and directed (water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately) : (a) Firstly : Cleaning the entire prepared roof surfaces shall be applied one coat of cold bituminous primer @ 250 grams/sqm, Conforming to IS 3384-1986. (b) Secondly : Provide/laying of 3mm thick polyester APP membranes over the cold bituminous primer. Application of APP membranes shall be by torch application. The overlaps shall be minimum 100mm and thermo fused. (c) Thirdly : Provide a uniform coat of blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.20 kg/sqm over the polyester APP membranes. (d) Finally : Blown bitumen surfaces shall be coated with aluminium primer @ 110 grams/sqm complete all as specified and directed.

(iii) Providing 8 mm dia bar fixing 150 centre to centre or chicken mesh with nails as directed.
