Fabrication , manufacture, supply Set of galvanized H-beam steel sleepers made out of the materials as per the specifications given and as per the approved PCE's drawing /RDSO's standard ASANSOL DIVISION-ENGINEERING/EASTERN RLY drawing with latest amendments, fixing on the nominated girder bridges with spacing as per IRPWM-2020 with updated Correction slips or as per the instruction of Engineer- In -charge including supply, galvanized, zero toe load fastening as per latest approved drawing, MS canted base plate, special liners, rail pad with embedded steel plate, Elastic rail clip , elastomeric pads /rubber pads, hook bolts with nut & spring washer, split pin etc. including welding , riveting /drilling holes wherever necessary with all contractors' labour , tools, plants, m a c h i n e r y , transportations to bridge site with loading/unloading crossing of railway track (s) with all lead, lift etc. as per requirement to carry out the work complete in all respect as a job and as directed by the Engineer in-charge. Note: - i) ISHB-200 sleepers should be made of standard rolled section confirming to IS:2062, Quality-B0 Grade : E 250 beams and MS plates confirming to IS:2062 Quality-B0 Grade : E 250. ii)Hot dip Galvanizing to be done as IS:4759 after welding M S packing plates to H-beam sleepers .iii) The elastomeric pads of steel sleepers shall be procured from RDSO approved sources only and shall be inspected & passed by RDSO /RITES, the list of RDSO approved firms can be ascertained at the time of excution. iv)The fittings of H-beam steel sleepers shall be inspected by RDSO/RITES. Contractor will have to arrange for all inspection/testing at their own cost. v. Payment Stage: Cumulative Payment for this Item will be made in stages as per following proportion: a) After fabrication and passing of H-beam sleepers including complete fittings by RDSO/Rites/ Inspecting agency (as per provision) & transportation near erection/fixing site - 70% of accepted rate. (b) After Assembling/erection/Fixing on Girder with required alignment complete in all respect with satisfaction of Engineer - remaining 30% of accepted rate. c) Stage payments are provisional payments only to fecilitate the contractor's cash flow. Final payment will be subject to adjustment of deficiencies/ losses in materials, after successful completion of work as per drawing and upto satisfaction of Railway. vi. payment will be made seperatly under Sch-B (item no. 041080) for Packing plates which will be fixed/weld under sleeper as per requirement of Girders. vii. Deduction @ Rs 2000/H-Beam ASANSOL DIVISION-ENGINEERING/EASTERN RLY sleeper, will be made for not fixing of extra spare H- Beam sleepers
including and ""Supply fittings fixing on of new6 girders mm thick. Sqm 75.00 9702.25 727668.75 (excluding bead height) chequered plate conforming to IS: 3502 with specified stainless steel base metal conforming to IS: 6911-2017, ISS symbol grade designation 409M. The stainless- steel base material should be hot rolled, annealed and pickled and mill test certificates by manufacturer should be submitted in support of above along with the material. The rate is inclusive of supplying the chequered plate, testing at third party laboratory if ordered, all wastages, cutting to size as per drawing, drilling of holes, fixing with matching stainless-steel fasteners, all lead and lift, labor and fitting over railway sleepers, pathway or any other locations, etc i.e. complete in all respect as directed by Engineer in Charge.Measurements will be done by measuring area of chequered plate in completed work in square meter. No deduction for holes as per approved drawings is to be made."

Shifting of all assembled girder Job over C.C. Crib stagging near pier/abutment/Launching site from w h e r e crane will work for launching. Temporary road to be constructed for crane working by boulder crating over river bed parallel to Railway track, if required. The rate includes lifting of assembled girder by road crane of proper capacity & jib length, travelling and placing the same over C.C. Crib staging on river bed/launching site to facilitate the crane working. The rate also includes earth work in excavation at cess, earth work in filling for dressing, digging of sand at river bed, providing wooden base for C.C. Crib staging, lifting of C.C. Crib, making C.C. Crib staging with all tools & plants, materials like bolts, nuts & washer, labours, etc. required to complete the work in all respect. "Casting up to 12.2 m long PSC-A cum slab as per RDSO drawing No - RDSO/B-10289(GAD), RDSO/B- 10289/1(structural) and letest amendment time to time with ready mix concrete conforming to IS; 4926 of M-55 grade [Mix design design is to be submitted by the contractor and get approved by Railway before starting the work as well as during execution when necessary] with contractor labour, material [Stone aggregates, coarse sand,potable water, cement, admixtures to be approved by Engineer in charge] Tools,equipments, sufficiant number of shutter and needle vibrators, engraving on each unit with date of casting, name of depot, span, RDSO/CE's drawing No.etc., plants, road crane, other machinary etc. required to complete this work, all consumables , designing supplying and making all temporary works and steel form work etc. complete in all respect. Curing with potable water will be done for 28 days by ensuring continous wetting. The rate includes the cost of cement and all other material including GI binding wire but will exclude the cost of pre stressing strands and reinforcing steel. The rate will also include the charges for pre stressing of HTS stands at stress frame using suitable anchorite wedges and barrels with the help of hydraulic jack and pump with contractor labour or with any other suitable system of pre stressing with all labour, material, tools, equipments, plants, machinery, consumables and kind off oil required to complete in all respect as per RDSO/CE approved drawing and as per instruction of Engineer in charge etc. Concreting to be done as per IS: 456-2000. The ends of strands will be given a coat of epoxy based anti corrosive paint as aproved by Engineer in charge. Casting of RCC bridge slabs up to cum 12.2m span with ready mix concrete of M35 grade conforming to IS: 4926 (Mix design to be submitted by the contractor and get approved by the Railway before starting the work as well as during execution ) of various spans ( up to 12.2m clear span ) as per RDSO /CE drawing with contractor labour ,materials, (stone aggregates, coarse sand , cement , admixture ,potable water ) ,tools equipments,sufficient number of shutter and needle vibrators as applicable , plants, machinery, consumables . handling the slabs by road crane for curing if necessary , supplying ,designing and making all temporary works and steel form works etc complete in all respect . The rate also includes mix. design , making , placing and compacting of concrete with sufficient members of shutter and needle vibrators, engraving on each unit with date of casting , name of depot, span, RDSO/CE drawing No.etc. concrete to be done as per IS:456-2000. Minimum 28 days curing will be ensured with potable water by continous wetting.Note: The rate will include the cost of GI wire and all activities but will exclude the cost of reinforcing steel.
Transporation of pre cast RCC/PSC MT slabs of various spans within Eastern Railway by Trailler / heavy duty truck from casting yeard from bridge site/nearest level crossing gate/Railway station as directed by the site in charge including shifting, loading of slabs at casting yeard and unloading at bridge site/location near bridge site/station yeard as instructed by Engineer in charge at site. The rate includes all labour, machinery,cranes, equipment for shifting loading, unloading of slabs etc. complete in all respect.payment will be done as per the actual distance by Rail track. Shortest route will be preferred above 50 KM. and up to 250 KM.
