Item No 1.00 Contd......./- (F) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE FOR CBCP IV (i) Factory Fitted integrated -ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE Silent DG Set Enclosure with Base frame with integral fuel tank is provided with drain plug, air vent, inlet and outlet connection, level indicator and provision for cleaning. (ii) The enclosure is fabricated out of CRCA sheet of 16 SWG. (iii) Top lifting for easy handling at customer site and Silencer Inside enclosure (iv) Theft proof Fuel & Def filing arrangement (v) Fuel filling arrangement Outside the enclosure (vi) CRAC sheet shall be 11 tank pretreatment process and UV resistant powder coating of all parts to withstand extreme environment. (vii) Enclosure is powder coated (inside as well outside) with a special pure polyester based powder. All internal Nuts and bolt are made of MS and all external Nuts and Bolts are made from stainless steel. (viii) The doors are gasketed with high quality EPDM gaskets to avoid leakage of sound. (ix) The door handles are lockable type. (x) Sound proofing of enclosure is done with high quality PU foam confirming to IS 8183 of 40 mm thickness and destiny at 28 kg /M3. (xi) The rock wool is further covered with fibre glass cloth and perforated powder coated MS sheet. (xii) Specially designed attenuators are provided to control sound at air entry to the container and exit from the container. (xiii) Adequate ventilation is provided to meet air requirement for combustion and heat removal. (xiv) Viewing window is fitted with toughened glass instead of acrylic sheet. (xv) As per CPCB norms with acoustic enclosure the noise level shall be 75 dBA at one meter in absence background noise AT 75% load upto 1000 KVA

Foundation DG Set shall be installed on new foundation block as per manufactures recommendations including excavation works PCC etc for foundations, provision of cable ducts, making good any damage to existing structure, fuel piping from fuel tank to generator set with medium grade GI tubing and cold water piping system (Medium grade GI tubiing from nearest water point to radiator of engine with brass tap and stop cocks and fittings complete. Notes :- (i) The generator set prime mover will produce BHP as per manufacturer's recommendation. (ii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of cable and terminations from generator to the AMF panel, with necessary holes to wall including making good to disturbed surfaces so as to match with existing finishes all as specified and directed. (iii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first filling of lubricant oil. (iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site including of half an hour on 10% ovehead in presence of representative detailed by Accepting Officer; including FOL. All arrangements are to be made by the contractor for tests. (v) The contractor shall arrange for artificial load (water load) for final testing of DG set at site and the cost is deemed to be included in above offer. (vi) DG set pre-factory dispatch inspection (PDI) is a detailed checking process carried out at the manufacturer's works before despatch to ensure the generator set meets the approved specifications and performance requirements. (vii) One year maint spare as per manufacturer's maint schedule and as directed is deemed to be included in above offer. (viii) One set of latest spare part catalogue with price, exploded view of parts and user's manual are deemed to be included in the offer. (ix) DG set should be tested after derating factor. (x) The Gen set must be affixed with label meeting the following requirement (The label shall be durable and legible) (xi) Name and address of the engine manufacturer. (xii) Statement that this engine conforms to the environment (PROTECTION). (xiii) Type and approval certificate number. (xiv) Date of manufacturing of Gen set.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode 600X600X6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr deep below normal ground level, connected to machinery/equipment etc and incl GI strip 32×6 mm dia as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers, protected with and incl 50 mm dia light grade GI pipe, 20 mm dia GI pipe (Medium grade) for watering, necessary earth work.
