REPAIR MAINT OF EARTHING, LIGHTENING ARRESTORS AND ALLIED WORKS AT HISAR MIL STN UNDER GE HISAR

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 m deep below normal ground level and connected to and including galvanized iron earth wire 4 mm dia by means of GI nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers thimbles, etc as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and connection to main switch board/Test point/panel/equipment and testing on completion including excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning filling in, and removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exc 50 metre, charcoal and salt in alternate layer 15 cm thick all around the earth plate electrode, MS funnel with wire mesh, GI pipe medium grade 20 mm bore for watering and 15 mm bore upto 7.50 metre long GI pipe light grade for earth wire protection fixed with poles/wall with two clamps, made from MS flat 25 mmx3mm, bolts, nuts and washers, PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C1, 40mm thick precast RCC cover 1:2:4 type B1 shall be provided on CI frame etc complete all as specified & as directed including dismantling & taking out old existing unserviceable earthing.

All as per Ser item No 1.00 here-in-before but using galvanised iron strip 25 x 4mm as earthing lead and GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia.

All as per Ser item No 1.00 here-in-before but using galvanised iron strip 32 x 6mm as earthing lead and GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia. Note for item No 1 to 3 :- 1. The unit rate includes for protection pipe and GI earth wire 4mm dia / GI strip from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level. 2. Numbering on earthing pit to be done by the contractor

Carrying out testing of earthing in the installation and sub station and submitting record in the prescribed performa.

Material and Labour for replacement of damaged earth pits by making earth pit, PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 with RCC cover incl excavation and earth work all as per electrical plate No 03 of SSR Part-I complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement Copper cable , multistrand, single core 1100 volt of size 10 sqmm , connected to Bus bar to MCB with Copper thimble (on both side ) of suitable size etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- The quoted rates includes provn of thimbles required at site under the above item.

Supply and fixing in replacement MCB TPN of capacity 63 Amp,10 KA, type 'C',415 volts, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing in replacement of MCCB 630 Amp ( fixed on existing panel) 415 volt, 4 pole, 36 KA breaking capacity with adjustable current range for overload protection and thermal release complete with spreader terminals (legs) and with proper lugs complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L lightening arrestor expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class discharge capacity 65 Kilo Amps, 11000 Volts complete including taking down the existing lightening arrestor complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling unserviceable cross arms, clamps etc and removing from site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge.

Material & labour of Cross Arms bracings supports, clamps, eye hook and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including pole clamps stay clamps, D clamps nuts, bolts, washers welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge.

M & L in replacement PVC separator in position to keep ACSR conductor as equal spacing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for following :-

S&F in replacement aluminium strip 25x4mm as earthing strip including connecting with nut, bolt etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement aluminium strip 32x6mm as earthing strip including connecting with nut, bolt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm depth and getting out in soft /loose soil including clearing away all grass and vegetation saplings , shrubs , bushes , undergrowth roots and removing rubbish upto a distance n exc 50 mtrs outside the periphery of the any installation/ feeder pillar area etc. Note:-The contractor will ensure that no vegetation grows during the contract period on the area so dressed.

M&L in replacement for air termination single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in replacment for aluminium strip 25x3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductor and down conductor above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 x 75 x 25mm drilled and screwed including 03 Nos 8mm hex head screw complete all as specified and directed.
