| 1MS STRUCTURAL MEMBER FABRICATION: Transmitter rack structural fabrication including supply of MS steel angles, channels, plates, etc (Material conforming to IS2062 E250 Gr-BR) inclusive of handling, transportation, fabrication, erection, welding (10% of LPE on final pass) and painting of Transmitter Rack (one coat of primer and two coats of epoxy painting of approved make and colour of 150 micron dry film thickness) as appropriate. The supply shall include rolled sections like channel (ISMC75, etc), angles (ISA50x50x6, ISA25x25x3, etc), plates, chequered plates as required for use as per tender drawing and technical specification. This work includes chipping of concrete, EP painting, etc as required for the completion of work. | |||||
| 2STAINLESS STEEL SEAMLESS PIPES: Handling, transportation of Stainless seamless steel pipes, fittings, etc. of grade 304L quality (Supplied as Free Issue material). Marking, cutting, fabrication (excluding welding), surface treatment of pipes as per approved procedure and erection of pipes for PRV station at site as per the approved drawings. Sizes of pipes involved ranges from 8 NB to 50 NB SCH 40. (The rate for each meter erected up to pipe size 25 NB shall be considered as one inch meter). | |||||
| 3AIR HEADER FABRICATION & ERECTION: Handling, transportation of stainless steel seamless pipes of 304L quality, marking, cutting, fabrication of air header (excluding welding), surface treatment of pipes as per approved procedure and erection of air header assembly on fabricated supports at site as per the approved drawings. Sizes involved DN8 to DN50 Sch 40. Note: This item will be operated from above (FIM) free issued SS pipe (item no.2). | |||||
| 4PIPE BUTT WELDING: Preparation of drawings, Gas Tungsten Arc butt welding of stainless steel pipes of grade 304L quality, DN8 to DN50 Sch 40 pipe size, including hookup joints using Argon gas for shielding and purging, ER 308L filler wire as consumable, root & final Liquid penetrant examination (LPE) and local passivation of the weld joints as per specifications. (The rate for each butt joint welded up to DN 25 shall be considered as one inch Dia.). | |||||
| 5TEE JOINT PREPARATION & WELDING: Marking, cutting, drilling of stainless steel pipes of 304L quality for the preparation of Tee joints as per approved procedure followed by Welding of Tee joints (Gr.304L Stainless steel pipe to pipe) using GTAW process with ER 308L filler wire as consumable and Argon gas for shielding and purging including root & final LP examination and local passivation of the welded joints as per tender specifications. (The rate for each joint welded upto pipe size DN 25 will be considered as one inch dia irrespective of the pipe size and for higher size the measurement will be equal to the nominal dia. of the pipe in inches). | |||||
| 6BEND FABRICATION: Fabrication of stainless steel pipe bends upto 40 NB size using hydraulic bending machine or any other means as per approved drawing. Bending procedure shall be duly approved by department in advance. The rate shall include liquid penetrant examination, thickness measurement at bend portion using ultrasonic thickness measurement gauge and local passivation as per specification. Bend radius within 5d mm of pipe NB (45/90 degree Bend for Sch 40 pipes). Pipe size ranging from 8NB to 40NB. Pipes upto 1" shall be considered as 1" bend. | |||||
| 7STAINLESS STEEL SUPPORTING STRUCTURE: Supply, handling, transportation, surface treatment, fabrication, forming, welding and erection of items made from ASTM A240 Gr.304L stainless steel plates as per approved drawing. The item rate includes forming, bending, fabrication, surface treatment and installation of channel, angle, dummy plates, poison plates, shim plate, U-straps, etc made from 1.6 mm to 3 mm thick SS 304L grade conforming to ASTM A240 of stainless steel items of various sizes as per approved drawings. All associated weldings using GTAW process with argon gas for shielding using ER 308L filler wire and ER 309L filler as consumable used for poison plate welding, followed by site installation as per approved procedure and drawing. All the weld joints shall be subjected to LPE on final pass and local passivated as per approved procedure. | |||||
| 8PNEUMATIC TEST: Pneumatic testing of complete air header unit after installation of all connections including valves and fittings as per approved drawings and tender specifications. Scope includes providing all tools, testing equipment, gauges and compressor, carrying out leak testing, necessary rectifications and submission of test reports for approval. | |||||
| 9Supply and fixing of heavy-duty anchor fasteners suitable for seismic category (preferably Hilti / Fischer or equivalent) including drilling of holes with suitable machines, installation, proper tightening and sealing with caulking compound to prevent leakage, complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Submission of material test certificates included. | |||||
