Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for laying of cables, pipes, foundation for poles etc., and getting out in hard/dense soil all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out for taking out or laying of pipes/cable of any size in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay HDPE double wall corrugated pipes confirming to IS-14930 Part II for cable protection of size 50mm OD and 38mm ID including all accessories such as bend, end caps and couplers etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down street light fittings from Poles before demolition after carefully disconnecting the electrical connections, keeping in safe custody, refixing back on newly erected pole and making electrical connections all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting and taking out old defective LT UG cable with aluminium conductor of any size/type from trenches/ walls/ poles/ pipes all as directed and as specified.

Supply, Laying and connecting LT underground cable of size 2 Core 10 Sqmm XLPE insulated armoured and PVC sheathed 1100 Volts grade with aluminium conductor multistranded including cable connecting lugs, glands, jointing materials etc., laid in trenches, floors, roof, ducts and fixing using clamps, saddle for pole, wall complete all as directed.

Material and labour for wiring complete with two runs of 1.5 Sqmm FRLS single core PVC insulated unsheathed single core cable 1100 volts grade, multistranded with copper conductor (ISI Marked) drawn through and including PVC conduit and all accessories fixed to wall/ roofs/ floors etc with one run of 1.5 sqmm FRLS single core multistranded copper conductor as earth continuity conductor complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (1) Two runs of cable one run of PVC conduit & one run of earth continuity conductor shall be measured as one running metre.

Dismantling of Cross arm, bracings, supports of MS Channel or angle sections etc., clamps etc., including bolts nuts etc., and making good the disturbed surfaces to match with the existing surfaces and taken as credit all as directed and as specified.

Dismantling of Insulators pin, post, Disc type and taken as credit all as directed and as specified.

Dismantling of ACSR conductors of any type/size and taken as credit all as directed and as specified.

Dismantling concrete poles/ struts, any size upto 30cm below ground level complete all as directed and as specified. Note: All debris shall be removed from the site to the full satisfaction of Engineer-in - Charge.

Material and Labour for RCC pole of 9.0m long in M-30 grade design mix cement concrete using 20mm graded stone aggregate as per CE A&N Zone Drg No.TD - 401, Sheet No.1/1, dt 11 Sep 2006 of cross section 350x250mm at bottom and 150x125mm at the top, painted with two coats of cement base paint throughout, provision of yellow and white coloured strip upto 1.5m height above coping, numbering with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying, installation of 6m high hot dip galvanized iron Octagonal pole 3.0mm wall thickness, with bottom size 130 mm diameter, top size 70mm diameter with 3mm thick base plate of size 220x220x12 mm, pole fabricating out of medium grade tapered pole octagonal cross section and shall be continuously tapered with single longitudinal conforming to BSEN 100 25/100 27 with base plate Fe 410 conforming to IS 2062 of suitable thickness with provision of 4 Nos foundation bolts. The pole shall be galvanized as per IS 4759/BSEN1461 standards/housing with 4 way terminal block inside inbuilt junction box complete including single luminary arm 42mm diameter, 2.6mm thick, 1 Meter long, with grouting of base plate in RCC foundation as per manufactures recomendation including excavation, earth work, refilling etc. (All poles should be prewired from Junction box to fixture with 1.5 Sqmm size of wires for Phase, neutral and Earth and provision for mounting fitting on pole). Note: (i) Quoted rate are deemed to include Earth work and excavation ,necessary foundation i.e reinforcement, holding down bolts, nuts, washer of suitable size concrete etc complete pole as per manufactures instruction and standards and necessary accessories for mounting light fittings on pole.

Supply and Fix in repairs SMC junction box of inner size 140 x 140 x 95 mm , light weight light weight including 4 way connector for loop in and out of cable, fixed on pole/Wall/ Panel using necessary fasteners all as directed and as specified by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and Fix in repairs SMC junction box of inner size 295 x 195 x 105 mm , light weight including 4 way Connector block for loop in and out of cable, fixed on pole/ Wall/ Panel using necessary fasteners all as directed and as specified by Engineer in Charge.

Supply and jointing straight through joint, outdoor type 1100 volts grade heat shrinkable type suitable for 2/4 core, 10 to 16 Sqmm LT XLPE cable and testing after jointing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing CI/DI fittings for spigot and socketed pipes or flanged pipes such as bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing / decreasing or double socket etc.), tee pieces single branch. Supply and filling pulverized stone dust to the full width of trenches for protection of cables including spreading and punning down including watering consolidation complete all as specified and directed. Note: Thickness of stone dust will be paid after cushioning after punning.

Supply and lay un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class , LV, Type 2 flat size 300 x 180 x 40 mm laid dry in trenches over underground cables, embossed with "ELECTRIC" on the top surface complete all as specified and as directed

Supply and lay cable XLPE Insulated screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductors all as per IS -7098 (Part-1 1977) and Part 2- 1985 of following sizes in trench / wall / floor of size 3.5 core 400 Sqmm and taking down old cable all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Rate deemed to be inclusive of cable lugs ,end termination etc complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour Earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x6 mm hick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to main earth lead GI wire 32x6 mm and connected by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part I 1991, GI earth lead protected by GI pipe 40 mm dia light grade, providing and connected to earth test point with & including necessary excavation & earth works in any type of soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil to 50 metre, filing with mixture of charcoal and common salt upto 15 cm above top edge of earth plate, pit of PCC 1:2:4 with precast cover of RCC 1:2:4, watering arrangement with GI funnel, 20 mm dia GI medium grade watering pipe, earth test point, commissioning & testing complete.
