Earthwork in excavation of foundation of structures of culverts,abntments piers, retaining walls etc. in all types of Strata comprising of any of the materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravel, murrum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rock etc soft rock, ordinary rock or disintegrated rock, fissured shattered /decomposed rock or weathered rock all such other materials as described under Appendix 'A' to these specifications either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting mechanical means (hydraulic excavator) or any approved method or methods as the case may be convenient or permitted inclusive of blasting, chiseling and wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist,saturated, submerged, foul condition etc. and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge all complete including dressing of sides ramming of bottom including all leads and lifts including getting out the excavated soil as directed barricading danger lighting guarding and the departmental officers as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious matte, dressing of sides and bottom, back filling the excavation earth to the extent required and utilising the remaining earth locally for road work upto 3.00 m depth as per MORTH Specification 304 EXCLUDING DEWATERING. Ordinary Soil Meachanical Means.

Clearing and grubbing road nland including uprooting rank vegetation grass bushes shrubs saplings and trees grith upto 300 mm removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per MORTH specification 201; By manual means; In area of light jungle.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site fromapproved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation rom drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted with static road roller to meet requirement of Table 300-2 as per MORTH specification 305

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing : a)All works upto plinth level .

Centering & shuttering including Strutting, Propping & removal of forms for : i)Foundations, Footings, Bases for columns.

Laterite boulder masonry in cement mortar 1:3 in foundation

Supplying of laterite stone soling of size 150-200 mm size and murrum having P.I. Value not more than 6 and laying including packing with smaller stones and consolidation with power road roller including spreading, watering and consolidation of binding material etc.(Measurements shall be considered on finished item) .

Providing and laying 50mm(consolidated thickness)full grout using granitic or basaltic stone of specified grading at 6.00 cu.m. per 100 sq.m. grouting with hot bitumen straight run bitumen(or with such bituminous material of grade and type as specified by the Engineer-in-Charge)at 5.0kg. per sq. m. binding with key aggregate of granitic or basaltic stone of specified grading at 1.5 cu.m. per 100 sq.m. including Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminious surface laid with F.E loader with 1 Cu.m. bucket capacity to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A seal coat with 0.98 kg/sqm of bitumen of grade as per MoRT&H specifications clause 513.

providing and fixing weepholes with rigid PVC make laid in position with a required slope and level while laying pipes of approved the concrete of retaining wall wing wall and earth retaining structure complete as directed by the Engineer in Charge; A) 110mm dia.
