Anti-flood measures and cleaning of terraces, drains, chajjas, catwalks, stalling ponds, water tables, storm water chambers and miscellaneous civil works at Mod Labs, Post office, SCF and other buildings at North site BARC, Trombay for the year 2024.

Amount

Lead charges for Lead Exceeding 1KM but not Exceeding 2 KM,by mechanical transport including loading, unloading, stacking / levelling etc. For Debris beyond 1 Km but up to and including 2 Km. Note: The rate in respect of item no 1 is applicable for the net quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @30% from truck measurement for payment.

Supplying man power along with necessary pans, spades , shavels, pickaxe, punjas, ropes, smalls special spade raincoats, Torch etc. For any number of labour as and when decided / Required by the Project engineer on monsoon period to carry out the cleaning of choked drains grating grills/ terraces/ water tables/ foot path /roadside grating, MS grills and RCC hume pipes by removing the dry leaves, silt etc. and also carry out various departmental works, alloted by Project Engineer from time to time.

Providing and constructing Half brick masonry using bricks of approved quality / class, brand/ make in partition walls in C.M 1:4 (using crushed sand) including scaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc. complete and with stiffners of RCC 1:2:4 (105 X 75 mm size) at every 900 mm height including form work curing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge but excluding reinforcement up to plinth level. (Reinforcement will be paid under relevant item)

Dismantling brick work in Cement mortar carefully without damaging adjacent structures including stacking of materials and dispoal of unserviceable materials within 100 m lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge

Providing and constructing Brickwork in cement mortar 1:6 using crushed sand with Flyash / Flyash Lime bricks with minimum 70 kg / Sq. cm strength of approved make and size in Sub structure including, scaffolding, raking out joints, curing, cleaning complete all as per specifications and drawings.

Providing 20 mm thick plastering using Ready mix external plastering compound of approved make for external faces of brickwork / concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning scaffolding up to 10 metres height complete all as per specifications including forming drip moulds wherever necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:2:4 (1 cement, 2 crushed sand, 4 graded stone aggregate of nominal size 20 mm) including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specification and drawings but excluding the cost of formwork shuttering, centering and steel reinforcement at all Levels

Providing safety Personnel Protective Equipments (PPEs) for engineers, supervisors and workers including transportation, delivery, storage in good condition ,maintaining issue records etc. as instructed by Engineer in-charge.

Hand Gloves - with 2 Thread Poly-cotton premium quality cotton as per IS:4770–1991 (Reaffirmed 2001) Tentative/Suggested Make for guidance of bidder(s) : M/s Udyogi Plastics or approved equivalent

Providing and laying in position bitumen hot sealing compound for expansion joints using approved make and quality.

Providing & supplying of Pick-up Van / Utility Van for various areas for the requirements arising from time to time inside and outside BARC. The Pick-up Van / Utility Van of minimum five seaters capacity with the back side provision for transporting/ shifting of various construction / maintenance materials, machinaries and tools etc. and for other works including Driver as assigned and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (8Hrs. a day or 60 km max as per certification of Engineer-in-Charge). Conditions: 1. The above rates shall be inclusive of cost of supply of Pick-up Van / Utility Van, Fuel, wages of Drivers and other consumables etc. 2. The Reporting time at the place of duty / as instructed by EIC shall be considered for the billing / measurement / payment. 3. In case the pick up van is parked inside BARC premises then the reporting time of the driver to EIC shall be considered for the billing/ measurement/ payment. 4. Break Down Hours as per actuals and Lunch break (30 min.) timings shall not be considered for payment. 5. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at the time of preparing the Running / final bills 6. BARC being a restricted place, the driver should have good credentials and shall have valid Police Verification / Clearance Certificate (PVC), driving license and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English / local language. 7. The make and model of the vehicle should not be more than 8 years old, roadworthy with all valid documents. 8. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically for safe and incident-free driving. 9. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision shall be final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 10. The vehicle should be a transport vehicle and preferably in white colour with a board "ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY". 11. The cost of POL, maintenance and servicing of vehicle including replacement of parts, payment to the driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability on these accounts. 12. The cost of damages to any Government movable/immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the Contractor. 13. The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, including Goods & Service taxes (GST). 14. The contractor shall arrange adequate insurance coverage for his personnel. Department shall not be responsible for any liability arising out of any accident / injury caused to the driver while executing the job. 15. The contractor shall follow minimum wages act and other rules of Government of Maharashtra. 16. No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract. 17. Hours more / less than 8 Hrs. a day will be paid / deducted on pro-rata basis. 18. In case of absence of Driver/vehicle for entire week, a compensation of Rs. 3000 /- per week, for not providing the service, will be levied on the contractor for that week. Note:Vehicle shall be used during Night Hours from 23:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs
