| 6.00 | Providing and applying cold liquid Polyurethane waterproofing system having following layers:
(a) Primer / base coat: Providing and applying (Pre-Measured Packed) silver grey coloured 2 (two) component solvent free, odourless, Epoxy-based Primer with excellent adhesive property on the clean and grinded surface/substrate. The substrate can be slightly moist (in concrete, the moisture must be less than 20 %), sound and free from any material that would hinder good adhesion. Mix component 'A' into component 'B' in ratio of 1: 0.16 by weight thoroughly with a clean stirring stick. The mixture should be of uniform colour & free from streaks and be applied evenly with roller. The primer should be completely dry for further application of liquid applied polyurethane based membrane/ coating. The consumption, depending on the nature and condition of the substrate for priming, should be within the range of 250 – 400 gm/sq.m. The rate shall including cost of all material, labour, tools & plants, consumables etc. complete all as directed by EIC.
(b) Top coat: Providing and applying cold liquid applied waterproofing based on highly flexible solvent free single component Polyurethane system and special needle punched non woven, system compatible polyester fleece of minimum 120 GSM as reinforcement. The cold liquid applied reinforced system shall have high crack bridging property and shall be UV stable, solvent-free, Cool Roof system.
Application procedure: (i) Stir the material well before use. (ii) 2/3rd of the waterproofing mix material to be applied on the primed substrate and the special polyester fleece of min. 120 gsm to be rolled with roller including removal of air bubbles with an overlap of min. 5 cm. (iii) The remaining 1/3rd of the waterproofing material to be poured onto the surface until complete saturation is achieved. The layers should be applied on wet surface of earlier coat and there should not be any time lag during the laying of the system. (iv) After curing, one coat of material approx. 300g/sq.m. to be applied after 24 hours. (v) The total system of waterproofing for material and components shall be procured from single manufacturer. (vi) The total thickness achieved from the application should be from 1.4 to 1.7 mm. (vii) The total consumption of mix waterproofing depending on the nature, porosity and condition of the substrate shOuld be in the range of 2.3 to 2.7 kg/sq.m. The rate shall including cost of all material,surface preperation, labour, tools & plants, consumables etc. as per manufacturer's guideline and complete all as directed by EIC.
Specifications/Technical Parameters: The tensile strength of the membrane shall be min. 8.60 N/sq.mm and Elongation at break with fleece shall be min. 83.0 % (with fleece). The Tear Resistance of the membrane shall be min. 41.0 N/mm, Solar Reflection Index (SRI) Value of membrane shall be min. 100, Degree of solar reflectance of the membrane shall be min. 85% and adhesive strength shall be min. 2.40 N/sq.mm. etc.

| 7.00 | Supply and Application of flexible Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) Membrane having minimum thickenss of 1.5 mm with Reinfored Fabric (RF) / scrim; which shall be free from plasticizer, chlorine & pthalate and should meet the specifications as per ASTM D6878 and is manufactured using a hot-melt extrusion process for complete scrim (reinforcing fabric) encapsulation. The TPO membrane shall be reinforced with a strong, polyester reinforced fabric (scrim) at the center and a tough thermoplastic polyolefin compounded top ply and the bottom ply of total thickness of 1.5mm. The TPO Membrane shall have white colour top with a very high resistance to weathering agents and UV rays.
The TPO membrane shall have the following minimum/maximum properties as per ASTM D6878:
(i) Breaking Strength min. 220lbf (976N) (testing as per ASTM D751) (ii) Elongation at reinforcement break: min. 15 % (testing as per ASTM D751) (iii) Tearing Strength: min. 55lbf (245N) (testing as per ASTM D751) (iv) Factory seam strength: min. 66lbf (290N) (testing as per ASTM D751), (v) Brittleness Point of minimum <-40 deg (testing as per ASTM D2137) (vi) Thickness of coating over the fabric or scrim, min. 0.48mm (weathering side only) (vii) Ozone resistance: No crack (testing as per ASTM D1149), (viii) Properties after heat aging (testing as per ASTM D573) (ix) Water absorption: max. 3% by mass (testing as per ASTM D471) and (x) Weather resistance (testing as per ASTM G155).
The rate shall include cost of 300 gsm geotextile mambrane as cushioning / separation layer between existing bituminous waterproofing layer and the TPO membrane, termination bars with PU/Hybrid sealant, high performance glue with good adhesion property and suitable concrete fasteners (coated steel, 3 inch. round, 1-1.5 inch buttress head) and plate washers (26 gauge plate) with PU/ Hybrid Sealant and Aluminium strip (2mmm thick, 25mm wide & 3m long) end terminations. The joints shall be thermo welded with machine welding. The fasteners / screws shall be covered under the overlaps.The whole treated terrace / area shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of 24 hours to test against leakage/seepage. As per manufacturer's specification and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Note:
(1) The above work shall include all consumables, adhesives, accessories as approved by approved Manufacturer which are required to complete the work in all respects.
(2) The work has to be carried over existing tarfelt waterproofing and appropriate remedial measures as per manufacturers specification shall be taken wherever total debonding of the tarfelt roofing has occurred, repair to substrates wherever required at no additional cost to the Department.
(3) The work shall include the cost for all lead and lifts and for working at any location.
(4) Wherever TPO membrane is fixed at visible edges/fascia of the elevation of the building, the same shall be executed to proper line and level without any undulations upto the satisfaction of the Engineer-in Charge.
(5) Contractor shall submit Manufacturers test certifcate and shall also bear the cost of third party tests for all physcial and chemical parameters from BARC approved Lab if required by the Engineer-in Charge.
(6) Contractor shall follow Method Statement attached alongwith the tender and as per satisfaction of Engineer-in Charge for execution of work.

Pressure Grouting with cement slurry from inside of slab and wall of structure including fixing nipple nacessary pump for grout all material, labour etc. complete as directed by the engineer-in-charge.-
Providing and grouting with two component Polyurethane based non- foam injection grout mixed at ratio of 2:1 (2 parts of Base: 1 part Hardener) which will injected through same nozzle which gives Adhesion strength >2.5 MPa, Adhesion in wet concrete >1.5MPa, Elongation >80%.Item includes rates for sealing cracks and nozzle removal. Work to be executed using specialized equipment, grouting pumps, and sealing compounds as per standard practice and site requirements, as per manufacturer's specification etc. Completed as directed by Engineer-In-Charge at site.
Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using H- frames with cup lock type on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
Supplying of manpower along with necessary pans, spades, shovels pickaxe, punjas, ropes, small special spades, raincoats, safety shoes etc. for any number of labours as and when decided by Project Engineer to work for eight hours per day or monsoon period to carry out the cleaning of chocked drains grating grillsl hume pipes/ footpath by removing the dry leaves, silt etc. and also carry seasonable departmental work allotted by Project Engineer from time to time. IMPORTANT NOTE: Police Verification Certificate issued by Special Branch of Police is required for Contractor, Engineers, Supervisiors and all the labours to work inside BARC and the same shall be arranged by the Contractor.
Cleaning the horizontal and vertical surface, chasing opening the construction joints, cracks, honeycombing area, etc and grout with low viscosity epoxy material (with hardener & resin) as per manufacturer specification, curing etc. complete and as directed by Engineer In Charge.
Providing and constructing brick work in cement mortar using Standard bricks of approved quality / class, make / brand in super structure above plinth up to 20M height in all shapes and sizes including curing, raking out joints complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Lead charges for lead Exceeding 2 KM but not exceeding 3 KM, by mechanical transport including loading, unloading, stacking / levelling etc, Debris Beyond 2 Km but up to and including 3 km. The rates are applicable for NET Quantities arrived at after making deduction for voids @ 30% from corresponding TRUCK Measurement.
Preparing the existing China mosaic water proofing by making it slightly rough by grinding the same by mechanical means and cleaning the surface of China mosaic to make it free from all unwanted dust, loose material and other contaminants that may damage the water proofing treatment complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Providing and fixing of SS Nozzle for injection grouting as per manufacturers specifications and directed by Engineer In Charge
Supplying and fixing Cast Iron Man hole or Cast Iron Steps cover of approved make and weight as specified in the drawings or as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Filling the gap between aluminium frame /section,granite,glass/ACP joint by providing weather silicon sealant over backer rod of approved quality as per direction of Engineer-in-charge complete.
Internal Waterproofing Treatment: Providing and applying 2 coats of Polyurethane resin based solvent free, thixotropic coating after mixing the two components. It shall be applied in two coats by roller only @ 1.4 kg/sq.m. (0.5 kg/sq.m. in 1st coat and remaining in 2nd coat). 2nd coat shall be applied in between 6 to 24 hrs of completion of 1st coat. The coating shall have solids content of 100%, Elongation of 100% & Tensile Strength >10Mpa as per ASTM D412, Hardness >40 as per ASTM D 2240, Hydrostatic Pressure resistance of 5bar as per EN12390, Adhesion to concrete >1.5Mpa as per ASTM D7234 and Water Absorption <0.5 % as per ASTM D570, Certified by CFTRI as per 21 CFR 175-300 of US- FDA for potable water contact all as per manufacturers' specification, etc, complete. The system includes base preparation of cleaning, brushing and removal of flacky materials,injection grouting at all construction joint areas with cement slurry admixed with positive expansive additive, proper coving between slab and wall junctions using polymer modified mortar and priming the surface with water based primer at 200 grams/Sqm, followed by the application of waterproof coating. Notes: 1. The water proofing treatment is to be Guaranteed for bone dry condition for a period of 10 (Ten) years. 2. Mode of measurement will be actual area treated.
Providing.supplying, fabricating and fixing 500mm long S.S. pipe sleeves using schedule 40 stainless steel 304 pipes with puddle flange of specified size made of 6 mm thick S S plate and pipe threaded at one end/ both end as specified embedding in the concrete for water tanks etc. All as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the project Engineer.

Providing, laying , jointing, fixing and testing heavy quality ( (ISI Marked C-Class) Galvanised Iron pipes and ISI marked fittings like, tees, elbows, bends, unions, nipples,reducers etc. as required for the work, including testing the pipes and fittings for 10.00 Kg / Sq.Cm hydralic pressure with a minimum period of two hours duration with clean water, including cutting , threading, jointing with hemp yarn, white lead, jointing teflon tape, chasing walls and making good by filling with concrete 1:3:6, complete all as per specifications and drawings, including two coats of anti corrosive bitumastic paint, all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Pipes with ISI marked 'C' -Class heavy quality pipes of approved make.

Providing and Painting with Epoxy PU paint using 2 coats of (120 Micron dry film thickness) Epoxy PU coating as finishing coat over a priming coat of 50 micron thickness over steel surfaces at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer' specifications including preparation of surface by cleaning with wire brush and rubbing, scraping , applying sand paper , making free of Rust, dust, dirt etc. filling the holes, joint, cracks if any using epoxy putty complete. all as per manufacturers technical data and as directed at site to achieve minimum overall dry Film thickness of 170 micron (50 Micron primer Coat + 120 micron finishing Coat). Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces, chajjas etc. consisting of flowing operations (i) Injecting the top slab as required with cement and approved water proof compound solution to fill up all inherent holes, voids honey combs etc.in the concrete slab, setting "autoclaved aerated light weight block bats" coba in waterproof mortar with necessary gradient for easy flow of water & continue the treatment along the inner faces of parapet or other adjoining wall upto a height of 300 mm in the shape of vatas, finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (using river / crushed sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including mixing 'polyster fibre of approved make' at the rate of 125 grams per 50 kg of cement in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300 X 300 mm square, 3 mm deep (v) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of 2 weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and as specified by the Engineer-in-charge. 120 mm Average thickness for terraces using river sand / crushed sand
