REPAIR AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF 625,500 AND 400 KVA DG SET IN WINTER SEASON

Carrying out servicing/maint of 625/500/400 KVA DG set, Make : 'Sudhir CS500D5P or As availalbe at site' including 'B' check as per manufacturers mannual through authorised dealer of DG set manufacturer of existing DG Make and testing of DG set complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- All material/spares parts required for carrying out above maintenance/servicing shall be measured and paid separetely as 'Supply only' items as mentioned below and shall be of make- 'Sudhir CS500D5P or As availalbe at site' as per make of DG set and labour element required for replacing the spares parts including replacement of minor spare parts which are essential for carrying out servicing/maintenance of DG sets shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer against item No.1 above. (i) Any minor parts such as screws, washers, split pin , circlip etc shall be supplied by the firm, rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (ii) The Job shall be carried out after every two hundred hrs run of DG Set and shall be measured and paid separatly, no of times carried out during entire period of contract . (iii) The Item Include Servicing and cleaning of radiater and taking down fuel tank and cleaning and removel of scale and sludge.

Repair/servicing of radiator assembly with intercooler of 625/500/400 KVA DG Set make Sudhir CS500D5P or As availalbe at site' after dismanteling and removing cooling fans, guard plates and lowering the same from engine after draining out coolent from radiator and scrapping / removing sludge / scale inside tank with acid including replacement MS tank (botom portion) at rusted portion by cutting/ welding / brazing with 2mm thick copper plate including painting. Remounting the same at its original position and repalcement of pre mixed coolent as per the ratio fixed by manufacturer and testing complete all as directed by Enginer-in-Charge. (Note- Pre mixed coolent shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of schedule)(ii) The Job shall be carried out after every two hundred hrs run of DG Set and shall be measured and paid separatly, no of times carried out during entire period of contract

Dismantling and opening of turbo charger assembly of 500/400 KVA DG Set and repair/overhauling and replacement of turbo charger kit and all type of spare parts including refixing, testing complete as directed by Engineer in Charge.(ii) The Job shall measured and paid separatly, no of times carried out during entire period of contract

Disconnecting & taking out of existing control panel of any description and in any position, of 500/400 KVA capacity DG set & opening of Panel, checking AC/DC circuits and replacement control wiring with exiting specification , single core, copper conductor, flexible, PVC insulated, unsheathed cable suitable upto 1100 volts confirming to IS-694, taking out, removing and replacement of unserviceable parts / spares / items, reassembling the panel & fixing the same in position and testing the panel on full load after completion of repairs all as specified and directed .

Taking out carefully unserviceable fuel injector Nozzle & Injection pump assembly of 500/400 KVA DG set , cleaning/ oiling/servicing fuel injector pump assembly, recalibration of Fuel Injector Pump and nozzle after repairing unserviceable nozzles, re-assembling and fixing the same in position and testing the Fuel Injector Pump assembly all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note (i) Repairs/servicing / reassembling and testing of Fuel injector & injection pump shall be carried out through a authorised service center on fully automatic testing machine. (ii) The quoted rates against the item shall deem to includ for fixing and replacing of the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts, such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts,’O’ rings, nozzle, plunger, barrel, governor plunger, pressure regulator, weight carrier assembly, spring pack assembly, gear pump repair kit etc.New spare parts deemed to be included rates. (iii) The quoted rates shall deemed to be included cost of transportation to and fro authorized service centre. (iv) The Job shall be carried out after every two hundred hrs run of DG Set and shall be measured and paid separatly, no of times carried out during entire period of contract

Disconnecting and taking out the exhaust system of DG set of any capacity and carrying out cleaning of chocked, carbonized exhaust pipe including exhaust .silencer with de-scaling solution, including soldering / gas welding of leakage of pipe. Cutting the rusted portion of pipes including gas welding of pipes assembling the complete exhaust assembly including replacement of gasket, metallic flexible pipe, nut bolts, and testing for making it leak proof and fixing the same in position and testing the system complete all as specified and directed. The Job Can be Carried out After 200 Hrs.

S&F in repair/ replacment of Self starter/Cranking motor, auto lock, 24V of existing make Sudhir CS500D5P or As availalbe at site on the 500/400 KVA DG Set and taking out u/s self starter from DG set.

S&F in repair/ replacment of Alternater for battery charging, , 24V of existing make Sudhir CS500D5P or As availalbe at site on the 500/400 KVA DG Set and taking out u/s self starter from DG set.

S&F in repair/replacment of turbo charger assembly of 500/400 KVA DG Set make Sudhir CS500D5P or As availalbe at site testing complete as directed by Engineer in Charge.

S&F in repair /Replacment of water pump and replacement of water kit and water seal and connected item of 500 KVA DG Set complete all as directed.

S&F in repair/ replacement of control unit/ panel including all accessries and mounting incl base card of 500/400 KVA DG Set installed at Power House Make Sudhir .

S&F in repair/Replacement Fuel injector /Fuel Nozzle suitable for DG set upto 500 KVA capacity Make Sudhir CS500D5P or As availalbe at site

Supply and Filling in including draining out lubrication oil SAE-40 ( 15 W- 40 grade) of Make: Valvoline as approved by GE (.Note for Filling and draining charges is deemed to be included in item rate .(should be packd of 20 Ltrs bucket).

Supply and filling of coolent (Fleet-Guard make Coolant) suitable for radiators of 625/500/400 KVA capacity DG set complete all as specified and directed(should be packd of 20 Ltrs bucket)

Supply Jute cotton waste (as per sample) for cleaning & day to day maintainance of silencer & DG set installed at different location at this station.

M&L in repair for complete wiring harness of required size with sleeves thimbles, lugs indicator lamp, push button and starting switch etc for DG set of any capacity complete all as specified.

S&F in replacement of sheet metal enclosure type change over switch on load front handle four pole 415 volts 50 Hz 630 Amps including mounting arrangement of metallic frame work of appropriate section and size on wallsor panels complete all as specified and as directed. Make:- Havells/L&T/C&S

Supply and Fixing Battery 12 Volt 180 AH with Connecting Copper Lead & Clamp with color code complete all as specified and directed including taking down the old Battery. Make : Exide/Amron

M&L for dismantling, opening of diesel engine cylinder block and Head , removal of unservieable worn out spare parts, cleaning of all components, reboring of cylinder on lathe machine, after reboring honning and all machine work process will be carrred out,replacement of all spare parts and gaskets as per manufacturer spare part kit, re-assembling of complete engine setting, timing setting for the capacity of 500 KVA DG set complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Sundry Item Deemed to be included in quoted rate.

S&F in repair/Replacement of Sump Heater/ Cold Starting Kit for DG set of Cap 500/400 KVA of Make Sudhir or as available at site.

S&F in repair/ replacemnt of any type of sensor/relay viz-o-viz triping relay cooling sensor, lubrication sensor or any type required for 500 KVA DG of Sudhir make as per sample

Repair of of 500 KVA Sudhir CS500D5P or as availalbe at site installed at AF STN THOISE including dismantling and re-assembling of engine after replacement, repair of UNSV/defective parts with new parts as given below and supply and fix job work for complete DG sets parts here-in and Full load testing of DG set after complete overhauling work as per manufacturer recommendation after reassembling all parts complete all as specified and as directed to the full satisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge. Note 1:-All new spare parts and job work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items . Sundry items Such as nut,bolt washer,copper washer etc shall be deemed included in the rates quoted by the contractor. Note 2:- Repair and Transportation charge for the parts carrying out repair and after repair carrying back to Power House at AF STN THOISE including complete overhaul labour charges shall deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor.

Supply of following spare part for BOQ Srl Item No. 22 in replacement and fixing new parts in DG sets Sudhir CS500D5P or as availalbe at site against BOQ Srl item No 22 here-in-before for replacement of U/S spare part for satisfactory functioning of engine (cost of fixing shall be paid against BOQ Srl Item No. 1.00 specified here in before) all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for cleaning of Diesel tank of 625/400/500 KVA DG sets by removing the sludge from the diesel tanks complete to the entire satisfaction of Engr- in- Charge.

Repair/Attending break down of DG set to make completely functional in all respect to with out repalcing spare parts complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The Item includes any type of breakdown and sundry item cost deemed to be include in the quoted rate.

Note: The work under subject BoQ (item No. 1 to 24 ) is meant for maint and repair of DG Set in AF Stn Thoise under GE(AF ) Thoise. The work shall be executed on ground on required basis but being remote station and extreme wheather condition contractor must stand by all the material and Engineer to rectify the breakdown of DG Set .Contractor shall deploy sufficient resources to keep smooth working of DG Set in the AF station. In addition any breakdown shall be communicated to contractor or his representative by concerned Engineer-in-charge/JE E/M through phone call, text message, complaint slip and or in writing through site order book or through other means. Non complying of attending breakdown by contractor within 24 hours after notify the complaint, recovery @ Rs 2000/- per day shall be recovered from contractor's payment for each breakdown so notified.
