Chevron Board Providing and fixing Aluminum-backed flexible prismatic (AFP) sheeting consisting Yellow colored flexible prismatic sheeting with non-metallic prismatic lens as Retroreflective elements and conforming to ASTM D 4956-09 Type VI specification for rebound able Retroreflective sheeting. This flexible prismatic sheeting shall be of 1ft width and laminated at the back with a 50 micron Aluminum (Al) foil with pressure sensitive adhesive and liner. Further, this flexible prismatic sheeting shall have screen printed arrow/slant line pattern in black color in a continuous roll format. Neither AFP sheeting nor the flexible prismatic sheeting used in it shall crack when slowly bent in 1 second time around a 1/8th inch mandrel after being conditioned for 24hrs at 0?C and tested as per section S2.2.2. of ASTM D 4956-09. The AFP sheeting, with the liner removed, shall be applied with a neoprene contact adhesive with a Polychloroprene as base, viscosity of 200-450 cps and solid content of 20-30%. Once applied, the edges of the product shall be sealed all around with a two-part epoxy based structural adhesive and shall be extremely resistant to peel-off. A test report from institutes like ARAI/CRRI confirming to above mentioned flexibility and ASTM-D4956-09 Type-VI retro reflectivity performance of the flexible prismatic sheeting used in AFP shall be submitted by the tenderer during prequalification and supply of material.as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Sign Board of MMGSY / PMGSY Project Information: Providing and fixing of typical retro reflective MMGSY / PMGSY Project informatory sign board with Logo as per section1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing. The board will be a composite unit consisting of Three Plates ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel), material specificaitons as per clause 17001.3. The top most plate will be of 3mm ACP in diamond shape of 600x600mm size, riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. The middle 4mm ACP plate of will be 1200x150mm size riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size on back on edges. The main 4mm ACP lower most plate will be 1500mmx600mm size, riveted with MS angle iron frame of 25mmx25mmx5mm size. Riveting of all the sheets over angle and flat iron frame will be done neatly to have plain surface on one side. The angle iron frame of lower most plate and flat iron frame of the middle plate will be welded to two nos. 75mm x75mm x 12 swg sheet tubes posts placed at 1125mm apart centre to centre. the top of the middle plate will be flushed with the top of 75mm dia medium steel tube posts and these posts will be embeded in cement concrete M15 grade block of 450x450x600mm below ground level. The height of the bottom of the lowerplate will be 1200mm from normal ground level and the bottom of the middle plate will be 100mm above the top level of the lower most plate. the diamond shaped plate mounted over flat angle iron frame will be connected to middle plate by square steel section of 47mmx47mm, thickness 12SWG having a spacing of 100mm between the diamond shaped plate and middle plate and this square section will be riveted to the bottom point of the diamond shaped plate. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-A / Class-B grade as per the latest MORD section 1700 specifications (Refer Circuler no. The inks used for printing shall be eco friendly with VOC emissions complying to UL 2801 standards and specifications for the different kinds of platforms. The printed sign shall be laminated by UV protected laminate and shall carry a warranty of 7 years for Class B sheeting respectively for traffic colors. All the section of the frame and posts shall be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint. The design, painting and lettering shall be done as per the PMGSY Signage Guidelines Fig.2 and as directed by Engineer-In-charge. . A warranty for 7 years for the Retro reflective sheeting for Class-B respectively, from original manufacturer shall be submitted by contractor.as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Painting Two Coats on New Concrete Surfaces Painting two coats including primer coat after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new, plastered / concrete surfaces as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1701, as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Guard Stones/Boundary Pillars Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade boundary pillars/local stone of standard design as per IRC:25, fixed in position including finishing and lettering but excluding painting as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1704, as directed by Engineer in Charge.
MMGSY / PMGSY Citizen Information Board Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY Retro Reflective information board as per as per section1700 of MORD specifications and latest PMGSY Signage Manual / Circuler and drawing.Two ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel) sheets of 4 mm thick, of 900 mm x 750mm size fixed at top & bottom duly rivetted with MS angles of 35 x 35 x 5 mm thick M.S angle shall be welded by two vertical M.S angle of 5 mm thick to 75 mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG square tubes / 75mm Dia Pipe posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 600mm x 600mm x 75mm, below ground level. MMGSY / PMGSY logo, letters and numerals on the ACP should be made up of Retro Reflective sheeting of Class-B

All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paints as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 (10.16). The design, painting and lettering shall be done as per the PMGSY Signage Guidelines Fig.3 and Fig.4 and as directed by Engineer-In-charge. . A warranty for 7 years for the Retro reflective sheeting for Class-B respectively, from original manufacturer shall be submitted by contractor.as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Pitching Providing and laying pitching on slopes laid over prepared filter media as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1302 I) Stone/Boulder as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Flexible stone matt Providing and laying 0.90 meter thick metal mat consisting of rubble, oversize metal and normal size metal in specified thickness as per detailed drawing including supplying all materials, hand packing of rubble, spreading metal in layers and hard murum including watering and compaction with power roller etc. complete.as directed by Engineer in Charge.
Thermo Plastic Paint Providing and Laying hot applied thermoplastic road marking strip on Bituminous Surface of specified shade/ colour of 2.5 mm thick including 1.5 Refractive index reflectorizing glass beads @ 250gm/sqm .Thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC 35:2015. Initial Dry reflectivity RL shall be > 250 mcd/sqm/lux measured in the initial 7 days and sustained reflectivity RL of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux and Qd of 100 mcd/sqm/ lux measured at the end of 2 years by means of a Standard Reflectometer of Zehntner, Easylux, Delta make capable of measuring RL & QD both according to IRC 35:2015 clause 15.5. The finished surface to be level, uniform, and free from streaks and holes complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and in accordance with applicable specifications.(Refer MORTH Clause 803 for technical Specification and Performance for IRC 35:2015). as directed by Engineer in Charge.
