Attending repair works on Two Stage, 3 cylinder reciprocating Air Cooled Air compressor Make ELGI Model TS15120 (T-500) fitted with 15 HP 3 Phase Motor, Air receiver (500 Lts cap) installed at ALHW Workshop in Haddo Wharf, Port Blair.

Dismantling the Air compressor, 15 HP motor from the foundation, Star delta starter, etc from the machine, cleaning the external parts, opening the cylinder head of the compressor unit and inspecting the inlet & out let valves plate, cylinder head, checking the connecting rod, Big and small end bearing, pistons, piston rings, liners, cam shaft, fan pulley and drive end bearing etc and overhaul it completely with replacement of the worned out parts of genuine parts whatever required and reassembling the same. In addition inspecting and replacing the defective safety value, pressure gauge, "C" type V-Belt (C-85 or as per actual), non-return valve, 3 Phase, 415 Volt Star-delta starter, drain plug whatever required etc complete. Inspecting the Air receiver unit for any defective, if any, and rectifying the same if required. Mounting the compressor unit on the foundation, connecting the Air pipe between Air compressor & Air receiver unit, connecting with 15 HP motor by V- belts and make test run so as to observe the performance of the unit to the satisfactory manner. Finally painting the entire unit with one coat of Metal primer and finishing with two coat of Synthetic enamel paint. The rate including the cost of all labour charges, required parts, Engine oil, minor tools & plants, GST, port related expenditures i.e. Harbour Entry pass etc complete. The work shall be executed as per the direction of EIC.
