GRASS CUTTING, VEGETATION CLEARANCE INCLUDING REMOVAL/ DISPOSAL SPOIL SPECIFIED AREA WITH JUNGLE JIM AND BRUSH CUTTER MACHINE AT ARAKKONAM

Material and labour for cutting of grass, shrubs, vegitation, bush, weed by mechanically operated slasher Jungle Jim with tractor where ever required including removing of waste material obtained by cutting and cleaning (both sides) of runway from the runway and parallel taxi track (PTT) edges and removal of the spoil exc 250m but not exc 500m and depositing where as directed complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes: (i) Contractor will arrange minimum all the time during the execution of the work his own mechanical slasher (set of two tractor and two Jungle Jim) one tipping trally of appropriate capacity with petrolium oil lubricants (POL) and two MT driver, two helpers. (ii) The minimum output of Each set of Mechanical Tractor with Jungle Jim per day shall not be less than 2500 sqm. (iii) The log sheet cum duty register will be maintained by the contractor for record of work done and running of the tractor, this register will be signed by contractor, JE (civil), and Engineer-in-charge. (iv) The quoted rate by contractor is including of all T&P, POL, operators, helpers as mentioned above. (v) Rates for ideal charges for machinery and operators will be considered to be inclusive by the contractor while quoting the rates. (vi) A Sum of Rs.2000 in addition to rate quoted per day shall be levied on the Contractor/ recovered from the payment due to the Contractor for Each Single absent day.

Material and labour for cutting of grass, shrubs, vegitation, bush, weed by brush cutter operated slasher where ever required including removing waste of material obtained from cutting and cleaning (both side) from the edges of runway and PTT and removal of the spoil beyond 250m but not exc 500m and deposited where as directed complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Notes: (i) Contractor will arrange his own brush cutter machines and operator with POL. (ii) The minimum of out put of brush cutters for one day is 800 sqm hence area of 800 sqm will be after removal of spoil upto the entire satisfactory of Engineer-in-charge cosidered as one day. (iii) A Sum of Rs.500 in addition to rate quoted per day shall be levied on the Contractor/ recovered from the payment due to the Contractor for Each Single absent day. Note for serial item No. 1 & 2: All works to be executed inside technical area. The site for the work will be available in piece meal and also may be in non flying days. No claim for nonavailability of site in every working days will be entertained. Contractor shall quote his rates considering the above bottlenecks.
