Taking out of old serviceable/unserviceable PVC under ground LT cable of any size and type fixed on pole, wll or laid in floors, trenches, across road crossing, etc. including taking out cable covers of precast PCC/RCC slab or brick covers, etc., including setting a side serviceable materials in safe costody for reuse and or unserviceable materials shifting to store complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Dismantling of clamps, nuts, bolts, etc., taking out of GI pipe in cable protection shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule. (ii) Cost for making good the disturbed ground surfaces of floors/walls in cement mortar 1:3 shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. However cost for making good the disturbed surfaces of roads with PCC and hard core filling is out of scope of this work and shall be measured and paid separetely under respective item of this schedule.

Relaying only of serviceable LT under ground cable of any size and any type in trenches, floors, across road crossing or fixed on poles, walls, or passing through pipe, cable obtained from ser item No 9.00 here-in-before complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: Handling of under groucn cable to working site as ordered shll be carried out by the firm and rate for the same is to be deemed in overall rates quoted by the tenderer under this item.

Relaying only of serviceable bricks/PCC slab cover obtained from item No 9.00 here-in-before for cable protection cover laid width wise along length of cable complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, install and erect in true vertical position (or to be fixed in an inclined position as strut pole) steel tubular swaged poles complete with MS base plate of 6 mm thick of size 300 mm x 300 mm, finial taper plug, pole cap, bolts, nuts and washers and screwed pole made out of FRW MS tubing conforming to IS-2713 (Part-II) 1980 type 410-SP-31 (9 meters long) pole including drilling of holes of required size and Nos for fixing of cross arms, painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of aluminium paint for exposed surfaces and two coats of black bituminous paint for portion embeded in concrete, incl taking down carefully old deterioiated RCC/steel pole etc complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Stay assembly complete with accessories as shown in electrical plate No 1 incl GI Adjustable Stay Rod of 20 mm Dia, GI Stay wire of size 7/4 mm incl stay clamps, loop type insulator, excavation in any strata including taking down old unserviceable stay assembly all as specified and directed

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in any type of soil for laying of LT UG cables, foundation of poles, etc. complete. Note:- The Rate quoted deemed to including cutting and removal of PSP Sheets wherever occured during excavation and the same shall be staged at desired location as directed at site which will be handed over to the appropriate authority as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.0m in depth and getting out in any type of soil for laying of LT UG cables, foundation of poles, etc. complete. Note:- The Rate quoted deemed to including cutting and removal of PSP Sheets wherever occured during excavation and the same shall be staged at desired location as directed at site which will be handed over to the appropriate authority as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Returning, filling in, including spreading levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in hard dense soil

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point

Dry coarse sand as cushioning to under ground cable provided with layer of 8 cms deep before laying the cable and 15 cms deep after laying and stretching the cable, punned to 18 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. NOTE: Only punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose.

Sub class 'B' old size bricks well burnt as covering to under ground cables , laid dry, flat over the cables on sand cushioning with width equal to length of the brick as mechanical protection to cable, complete all as specified and directed.

Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation and mass concrete of poles complete all as specified and as directed.

PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping of poles/plinth blocks of HT poles etc incl fair finishing the exposed surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement including necessary form work complete all as specified & directed.

Boring/drilling horizontelly under the road/hard standing from one end to another end of road, having width not exceeding 6 mtr of road/hard standing and not exc 1 mtr below road level without damaging the road/hard standing, for providing 150mm dia of MS/GI pipe for laying/protection of cable through pipe ,complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.NOTE: Pipe will be measured and paid separately

M & L for Cutting through existing road surfaces i.e. black top surfacing, WBM, soling, earth formation, etc, and making trench of minimum 500mm wide 100cm in depth along the cross section of road for laying of pipes or UG cables, including returning filing in, well ramming & removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exc. 50 mtrs & repairs to road surfaces to match with existing specifications of earth formation, soling, WBM and black top surfacing after laying the pipes/cable etc. all as specified & directed.

M&L for ACSR conductor on HT/LT poles of any type of conductor as required at site including binding and jointing to insulator with suitable size of binding aluminium wire for connectors, jumpers, etc. complete including taking out old unserviceable ACSR conductor from overhead line all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 50 mm height, 65 mm dia for 1100 Volts grade

Material and labour for shackle type porcelain vitreous white, brown or green insulator incl GI mild steel strip, washer, insulator bolts, washers and nut for working pressure 1100 volts section of strips 31 x 5 mm bolt dia 14 mm max dia 115 mm height 100 mm on poles upto 9 metre long incl taking down old unserviceable one.

Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint, including taking down old broken steel complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Anti-climbing device spikes type fabricated out of M.S. bars (round,square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole and duly painted with synthetic enamel aluminium/smooke grey paint over a coat of primer and entire satisfaction of Engnr-in-Charge complete including taking down of old broken anti climbing device all as specified and directed .

Supplying, laying and spreading (thickness as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) dry/loose coarse aggregates (granite, trap, Basalt), grading I, 90 to 40 mm or grading 2, 63 to 40 mm size, including well ramming, under 2/4 pole structure including cleaning and uprooting the wild grass and other vegitation, complete all as per direction by Engineer-in-charge.

NOTE: cable fault shall be located with use of cable fault locator machine as and when required with minimum possible time to reduce the downtime. If fault is not attended/located within 24 hours, recovery will be made at Rs 4000.00/Day from the date of such occurance.

Cleaning of under growth at substation . Cleaning should be carried out as & when required or when directed by Engr- in-Charge. Undergrowth at any point of time should not be more than 3 to 4 cm. A fine of Rs 1000.00 per month per substation will be deducted if undergrowth found grown beyond permissible height complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for clearing of Grass Shrubs and other growing by uprooting in switchyards and installations upto 10 cms in girth at various locatins as directed

Material and labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead using 20 x 3.15 mm copper strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation, etc. as required including porcelain insulator saddle at the spacing not exceeding 400mm including taking down old strip complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground, (Earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, connected to and including 4 mm dia galvanised earth lead wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised standard iron or steel all as specified or indicated in electrical plate no 3 of MES Part-I, including testing on completion including the material and labour of the following :-

(a) Excavation and earth work for drilling hole for electrode in any type of soil.

(b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1.

(c) Precast RCC cover with suitable handle 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than 1.87 Kg/Sqm.

(d) Funnel with watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore medium grade and copper lugs etc all as specified.

(e) 15 mm nominal bore light grade GI protection pipe 5 mtr long for protection of earthing lead from mechanical injury or tempering.

(f) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal.

(g) Testing of earthing.

Note : (a) On testing after completion of earthing, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk and cost to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (b) The contractor shall quote his rate considering taking down cost of existing unserviceable earthing.

Material & labour for Earthing using Copper earth plate electrode of size 60cm X 60cm X3.15mm thick burried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers including refilling with good earth as specified and electrode connections by using Copper strip of size 20x3mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of copper/brass and provision of GI pipe medium grade 40 mm dia for protection of earthing lead and 20mm dia for watering arrangement including funnel, wire mesh, CI pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 (including necessary excavation and earth work disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr all as specified and shown on plate No 5 of SSR Part-I 2009.
