Description of Works

The provision for Complete maintenance of the entire garden features of GARDEN having as per yard stick in the garden area i.e. lawn trees, shrubs, herbs, edge, flower beds, foliage, creepers etc. including hoeing, weeding pruning replacement of plants, gap filling, watering, mowing of lawn, grass cutting by lawn mower and brush cutter, removal of garden waste, applying insecticide, pesticide & fertilizers(whenever required) top dressing of lawn with good earth and manure and maintenance of other garden related works as directed by site-in-charge (cost of good earth, manure, fertilizer, insecticide, pesticide, will be provided by the department & lawn mower and brush cutter with fuel & other T&P material/articles shall be provided by the contractor.) and as per direction of officer in-charge. One man Per Acre as per Horticultures Norms etc complet as per the direction of site incharge. (Total Area = 40470.00 M2 x 7 Months).

The provision for seeds/saplings for GARDEN for seasonal beds as per requirement of the site. Which is fixed as per norms. The rate is @2000/Acre/Annum.As per norm for ASI Gardens etc complet as per the direction of site incharge.

The provision of plants in this estimate to meet out the filling of casualties of the garden during the year and the rates of these items are based on local prevailing market rate. The details of required plants& rate of each individual species will be follows at the time of taking prior sanction and execution as per actual requirements.

The provision of plant protection product in this estimate to protect the plants for GARDEN from different types of diseases/ insects/ pests from time to time in the year as per requirement and the rate is based on the market rate, which is fixed as per norms. @ 2000 per acre etc complet as per the direction of site incharge.

The provision for disposal of garbage emerged during the maintenance of garden i.e. machine cut grass, weeding, wastage of hoeing, pruning of shrubs &trees, clipping of hedges and Fall of dry leaf in Autumn season etc. from time to time during the year to keep the garden surrounding neat and clean etc complet as per the direction of site incharge.
