Providing two legged scaffolding using 48.30mm dia heavy duty MS pipe over all height of 3.00m the distantce between 2 legs being 1.25m and the spacing of the post being 2m in each rows and providing platform with C.W. planks using 40mm thick silver oak and 1.00m wide in complete form with horizontal bracings @ 1.50m c/c vertical direction and with cross bracings using same 48.30mm dia including cutting, threading assembly with red oxide primer, labour charges cost of speicals such on large plate, shoe, carcher, coupling, bolt and nut transportation charges as directed by the departmental officers.

Dismantling and clearing away carefully and stacking materials useful for reuse of Cracked Madras terrace roof of approximately 31cm thick and conveying the debris from inside to outside etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Dismantling the damaged brick/stone masonry work in lime mortar and clearing away with carefully stacking the material useful for re-use for any thickness of wall under 3m height etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers
Redoing of Madras Terrace roof in all floors with one layer of brick on edge course laid as first layer over the existing Teakwood joists, Beams, I Sections, etc., which are placed at roof level in all floors using specially manufactured Terrace bricks for heritage works of size 150mm x 75mm x 25mm in lime mortar 1:1.5 (one lime and one and half sand). The second layer is laid with specially manufactured Terrace bricks for Heritage works of size 150mm x 75mm x 25mm in flat manner in lime mortar 1:2 ( one lime and two sand) 20mm thick as base layer laid over the top of brick on edge course. Brick jelly lime concrete using broken brick jelly of size 20mm uniform gauge in pure slaked lime (no sand to be added) to the proportion of brick jelly to lime being 32:12.50 by volume laid over the second layer of terrace bricks for an average consolidated thickness of 100mm in a single layer of required slope/level as directed and finished by beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern, keeping the surface constantly wet by sprinkling lime jaggery (PALM JAGGERY) water. (Galnut of 10kg and jaggery of 10kg per one sq.m). The beating of the concrete is done continuously until the brick jelly lime concrete is well hardened. After ensuring the harden surface of brick jelly lime concrete, flat tiles of 150mm x 150mm x 25mm of specially manufactured superior quality to suit the heritage works is laid in two consecutive layers in lime mortar 1:2 (one lime and two sand) 15mm thick for each layer of flat tiles. The base mortar provided for the top course of flat tiles is mixed with SBR (Synthetic Butadiene Rubber) Polymer at the rate of 0.5 litres for one sq.m is applied for water proofing chemical treatment including neat finishing. The Materials like Terrace bricks for the heritage work as from Thirukkattupalli and Pollachi lime should only be used. The period of interval between laying of I layer, II layer of terrace bricks, brick jelly lime concrete and flat tiles in two consecutive layers as directed by the departmerntal officer
Opening and attending the exterior cracks over the madras terrace roof surface and weathering course including base mortar without damaging the original roof structure by using light weight hammer and bringing down from the roof with out disturbance to the existing structure. The rate includes labour charges for imported specially skilled labours
Grouting and stitching the wide cracks at roof (Madras Terrace Roof) using lime mortar 1:2 with pot pieces for filling up the cracks and the voids, crevices and gap, etc,. shall be completely sealed with necessary grouting pump. This pressure pump is to be used after cleaning the cracks, washing etc., and then the cracks are grouted with lime mortar 1:2 and it is allowed to be cured till final setting of lime mortar before taking up further leak proof treatment work.
Supplying and erecting centering for sides and soffits including necessary supports and strutting upto 3.29 M height for plane surfaces as detailed below in all floors with all cross bracings using Mild Steel sheets of size 90 x 60 cm and 10 BG stiffened with welded Mild Steel angle of size 25mm x 25mm x 3 mm for boarding laid over silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.50 cm spaced at about 90 cm centre to centre and supported by casaurina props of 10cm to 13 cm dia spaced at not more than 75 cm centre to centre etc. complete complying with the standard specificaiton.
Teakwood wrought & putup for joist, rafters and purlins of size 100mmx270mm which are in full length new member placed for supporting the Madras Terrace roof/ Mangalore tiles roof or any other area in all floor as directed by the departmental officers by using well seasoned superior quality and approved variety of teakwood for heritage building work including fixing of iron holdfasts incase of doors, windows and ventilators etc.,and excluding cost of holdfasts and making necessary size holes in the masonry to receive the ends of wooden joists, beams, etc., all fixtures and fastenings etc., complete. Item to include all moulding and chamber to be made as per original design indicated by the Engineer In Charge. (The rate includes the cost of teakwood, labour charges for wrought and putup to the existing clue/design, fixing in position to true alignment and gradient wherever necessary. Complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers (sample of teakwood to be shown to the Executive Engineer concerned for approval before use on work). Application of Solignum on the wooden surface should also be done. In all floors

Finishing the top of roof with one course of machine pressed tiles of size 230mm x 230mm x 20mm of approved quality set in lime Mortar 1:2 20mm thick mixed with SBR (chemical treatment) used and the joints pointed neatly to full depth of tiles with the same lime mortar mixed with red oxide and water proofing compound including curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers
Renewing the damaged circular column pillars of dia 0.75m height 4.50m by skilled sthapathy in bricks and ornamental works using lime mortar, racking out old dead plastering on the brick joints of 20mm without any damage to the brick and cleaning the surface with coir brush and water, grouting and filling the brick joints with lime mortar 1:2, the ornamental works by specially skilled sthapathy by using special chettinad plastering with hand grinded lime mortar paste 10mm thick in lime mortar 1:1 including curing and neat finishing, etc,.
Removal of the existing detoriated lime plastering over the wall, arches, domes and special type of ceiling of Madras terraced type roof carefully without disturbing or damaging the rafters, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Racking out the brick joints of walls, arches, etc.,to a depth of approximately 5cm for a wall thickness of 45cm and above to remove the dead mortar in between the brick joints and cleaning the surface with coir brush and washed with pure water etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Clean removal of saline action over the stone pillars, brick wall etc., will paper pulp treatment by using floating paper, distilled water, plastic bucket,coir, brush etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Pointing , grouting and filleting the brick joint of wall and arches with lime mortar 1:2 (one of lime and two of sand) using Pollachi lime in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Replastering ( base plastering) the brick wall, pillars and arches, etc., with lime mortar 1:2 ( one of lime and two of sand) to a thickness of 30 mm laid in two layers of 15mm thick using Pollachi lime in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Applying thin coat of hand grinded lime mortar paste in lime mortar 1:1.5 with redoxide (one lime and one and half sand) 6mm thick using Pollachi lime in all floors ( mix should be with 5.9 kg of jaggery, 2 kg of glue, 1.1 kg of gallnut, 1.4 kg of oakum, 30 nos eggs, 1 litre curd, 3 kg white marble powder, 0.5 kg vajram, 0.06m3 of surki, 0.5 kg of red oxide and 0.5 kg of yellow oxide) (for 10 sq.m area) over the newly plastered surface as per the existing clues (including finishing the surface with smoothness) `etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Replastering the Ceiling, etc,. with Lime mortar 1:1.5 (one Lime and one and half sand), 30mm thick using pollachi lime in all floors including labour charges, etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officer.
Grouting and Stitching the cracked wall and arches by toothing method including required terrace bricks of size 8" x 4" x 2" wherever necessary cutting of groove and fixing of key stone of size 900mm x 230mm x 200mm in horizontal and finishing the surface with lime mortar 1:2 etc., excluding errection of scaffolding all labour charges etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officer
Renewing the damaged ornamental cornice around the outer wall with top and bottom width 90.28m and 0.08m respectively cornice portion as per existing style and clues to a height of 0.25m including removing the brick work and redoing the brick work in lime mortar 1:2 and plastering with lime mortar 1:2 (one lime) 30mm thick laid in two layers and finishing with lime mortar 1:1.5 (one lime and one and half sand) 6mm thick using pollachi lime in all floors etc.,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officer
Reconstruction of ornamental brick masonry wall with similar type of bricks in lime mortar 1:2 (one lime two sand) using wire cut brick of size 9"x4"x3" (Specially manufacturing) and using Pollachi lime in all floors as per traditional preparation and documented type construction such as arches and lintels, walls, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Colour washing the inner ceiling/ wall with three coats of shell lime such as directed by the departmental officers including erection of scaffolding etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Supplying and fixing of Hoisting Machine on rental basis for lifting of all materials from ground to terrace and terrace to ground floor with necessary rope, hoisting platform, motor, controller as per site requirement days, etc., The rate is inclusive of Hire charges for machines, labour charges for operating the machine and daily bata and conveyance charges and dismantling and removing the same after completion of work etc., complete as directed by the departemntal officers.
Revarnishing the wood work with two coats of best melamine varnish of approved quality and brand including preparation of surface etc.. The rate is inclusive the cost of all material, labour charges and finishing neatly etc., complete compluing with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers
Providing appropriate shape, size and sloped bell mouths with lime mortar after the ends of the drain pipes are fixed and plastered with insertion and overlap.
Renewing the damaged AC rainwater pipe line with new PVC rain water down fall pipes of 110 mm dia size 4 Kg/cm2 with necessary shoes, specials, clamps, bends, cowl, screws, nails, teakwood block, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental officers.
Construction of mortar pit of size 3.00m x 2.00m with necessary earth work, excavation, sand filling 15cm thick, PCC 1:5:10 8cm thick, brick partition wall 11.50cm thick to a height of 60cm with plastering 1:5, 12mm thick on both sides etc., complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Supplying and fixing in position of shade net (green net) using vertical proctection for under construction/ high- rise building. The net standard size is 3mx50m and 5mx50m. The rate is inclusive cost of agro shade net, binding wire or cable tie, labour charges for fixing in position and neatly etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Providing charges for Barricading at the site using PPGI sheet of 0.47mm thick of required height using 40mm square tubes at 1m interval with necessary screws and welding to safeguard and prevent the entry of staff and public into the site as the site is very dangerous due to the fallen roof with necessary door arangements etc.etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental Office
Making and Fixing of Cement Balusters of height 0.50m and 0.15m width in between the parapet wall at terrace without damaging the wall structure. etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.
Usage of Crane - used for lifting wooden joist over the existing pillars, including hire charges of machionary, cost of fuel , driver charges etc ., complete and as directed by the departmental officers.
Collecting the fallen damaged madras roof terrace which includes Brick on edge, flat tiles of 3 layers, weathering course and intermediate lime layers, segregating them and conveyance for the inside of the building to the outside stack yard point by specialized labour by head load with necessary preventive and precautionary measures with helmet, safety belts and ropes and from the stack yard these debries are conveyed by tipper lorries with help of JCP as on when required and as directed by the departmental officers.
