Construction of Poorwanchal Expressway to Sithumau missing link road.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a all lifts and leads, transporting to site. Spreading, grading to required slpoe and compacting to meet required of table 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical specification clause 303.1

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming crushable screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical specification clause 405

Brick edging on both sides of roads of 1st class bricks 8cm (3") wide & 12 cm (4.50") deep laid with mud mortor including labour & suplly of bricks finished to required templete and in proper alignment and also including dressing & ramming the excavated earth including all labour T & P sudries required for completion of work with material.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 502 and direction of Engineer-in-charge

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen VG-10 using Prassur distributor at the rate of 0.35 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per MORD specification Clause 503 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge to completion of work.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thick compacted composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates of approved quarry using bitumen (VG-10) to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing by Mixol, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller, finished to required level and grades as per MORD Specification Clause 508 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge to completion of work

Providing and laying seal coat Type-C to sealing the voids in a bituminous surface with 6.7 mm aggregates of approved quarry using bitumen (VG-10) to required laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall as per MORD Specification Clause 510 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge to completion of work.
