Development and Improvement of Village Road Bench and Construction of Drainage System Including Boulder Soling, WBM and others (2.130 KM approx.) at Chewribotay Village under Rimbick GP in Darjeeling District under Rammam Hydel Project, St.-II.

Dressing and chilchalling Road flanks including cutting and filling with earth up to 150 mm average thickness finished with outward cross-grade of 1 in 30. (Extra quantity of earth for filling shall be obtained from road side borrow pits.)

Land Slide Clearance in Soil Clearance of land slides in soil and ordinary rock by a bull-dozer D 80 A-12, 180 HP and disposal of the same on the valley side.

Earthwork in excavation from borrow pits (land owned/arranged by the Department) and depositing in layers of 250 mm. including breaking clods in embankment works and to fill up back of abutments, depressions and ruts with an initial lead up to 50 m and initial lift up to 1.5 m making bunds at top as directed dressing complete. (Borrow pit measurement) (iii) In mixed hard soil (i,e hard moorum and soil containing laterite and boulders which do not require blasting)

Labour for laying 150 mm to 200 mm boulder soling including rough dressing, hand packing and ramming down small pieces in the interstics excluding rolling and preparing the bed to proper level and filling up all joints with sandy clay or earth.

Ordinary cement concrete ( 1:2:4) with graded stone chips ( 20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering of reinforcement, if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. b)River bazree

Plum concrete work with 40 % cement concrete with 30 mm down graded stone metal and 60 % stone boulder of size 150 mm and above, placed in position as directed excluding shuttering if any. ii) (1:3:6) proportion

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry / Plain /Reinforced concrete abutment,wing wall / return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards drawing face. Complete as per drawing and Technical specifications.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, cross- drain etc. The rate is innclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction.

Water Bound Macadam Base by Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering including lighting, guarding, barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling, including cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machinery and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision). Labour for laying stone edging with departmental stone materials laid to correctline and level including carriage of departmental stone materials within a lead of150 metres cutting necessary trench in soilor in hard metalled surface, laying the stonesand repacking the trench on both sides of theedging with spoils and ramming the samethoroughly. (b) 100 mm wide and 250 mm deep edgingwith stone sets laid-on-edge.
