Repair / replacement / maintenance of external LT distribution equipments and allied works at Mil Stn Kapurthala under GE Kapurthala.

Taking down existing LT panel by disconnecting all incoming and outgoing cables, earthing connection, dismantling PCC and making good the disturbed surface all as directed

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of LT Distribution Panel (CPRI) cubicle type IP-65 , Outdoor type confirming to IS-61439 factory fabricated prewired made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet outer & 2 mm thick CRCA sheet inner of suitable size to accommodate all accessories/ fittings compartmentalized in construction to accommodate the incoming/outgoing MCCB ad TPN bus bars and outgoing feeders. The TPN bus bars shall be insulated with colour coated heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on DMC support. The incoming as well as outgoing MCCBs shall have extension links of current carrying cap not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of individual feeders. The extension links shall be supported on DMC support having provision of termination of incoming and outgoing cables. All extension links/ interconnections shall be colour coated sleeves. The cubicle shall have frame work at bottom of MS channel MC 100 fixed to the top of platform. The plateform of LT Panel shall be pedestal type of suitable width and 600 mm height above ground level and minimum 400 mm below the ground level constructed with bricks (sub class 'B') work duly plastered in CM 1:3 and PCC copping (1:2:4) not less than 50 mm thick over brick pedestal with adequate opening for entry of cable complete as per manufacture recommendation and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. A detachable gland plate of thickness not less than 3 mm thick should be used at the bottom for entry of armoured cable of adequate size compression glands, the panel shall be painting with powder coated finish with RAL 7032 SIEMENS GRAY structure after seven tank phosphate treatment front & back opening type and fixing 2 Nos danger notice plan with letter figures and conventional skull bones in signal red colour and fixed front & back door to LT Panel with voltage and danger indicated in Hindi and English with double door shutter with min 3 hinges on each door and shall have louvers and air vent gasket for natural flow of air Neoprene Adhesive type gasket shall be used to make panel vermin proof and comprising of the following

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized iron or steel or steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6.3mm thick buried directly in ground, vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at depth of not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level surrounded from all sides with alternate layers of charcoal and common salt and connected to GI Strip of size 32x6 mm by means of GI bolts, nuts washers & check nuts electrode connected to main switch board or main control board or on poles or on transformer and GI pipe light grade 20 mm bore for watering including providing funnel and wire mesh GI frame and 10 cm thick suitably reinforced RCC pit cover PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates complete including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr all as specified and shown in plate No 5 of SRR-1991 Part-1 .

M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick surrounded with charcoal and salt, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanized iron 15 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc complete all as directed.

Preparation to steel surface of existing LT panels, LT feeder pillars boxes of any size and description internally and externally after scraping and scratching the old paint with emery paper etc, and painting with two coat of gray painting with spray gun and writing feeder names and numbers with suitable capital letters in English with white paint on and a black paint strip of size 20 cm x 25 cm all as directed.

M&L for repair to LT panels feeder pillar box by dismantling old rusted and perished doors shutter and bus bar covers etc and providing new doors shutters, bus bar cover etc by cutting, welding, fabricating and made to existing shape with 3.15 mm plain black sheet and angle iron of required size including providing hinges and locking arrangement all as directed including material and labour for two coat of painting with synthetic enameled Grey paint over a coat of red oxide primer.

S&F in replacement MCCB, 4 pole, 3 phase, 415 volts, 400 Amps, repturing capacity 35 KA with overload and thermal tripping features.
