Providing and executing complete structural repair and pressure grouting work measured on a per nozzle/nipple point basis, including initial surface preparation, non-destructive testing, drilling, nipple fixing, grouting, and anti-corrosive treatment as specified below: 1. Chipping & Surface Preparation: Chipping away loose, disintegrated, or honeycombed concrete around the nozzle location using lightweight tools up to sound substrate level; cleaning the exposed concrete surface and exposed reinforcement bars using wire brushes and oil-free compressed air jet/water jet to remove rust, dust, oil, and laitance. 2. Rebound Hammer Testing: Conducting Rebound Hammer Test (per IS 13311 Part 2) in and around the localized nozzle zone to map and define the extent of honeycombing or low-density concrete pockets.
3. Drilling & Nipple Fixation: Drilling 10 - 12 mm diameter holes into concrete voids/honeycombed areas, inserting and fixing GI/PVC grouting nozzles/nipples at designated points using fast-setting polymer/epoxy mortar, and sealing surface cracks and perimeter joints to prevent grout leakage. 4. Pressure Grouting: Injecting non-shrink polymer-modified cementitious grout (or low-viscosity epoxy grout, as directed) under controlled pressure (1.5 - 2.0 kg/cm2) through the nozzles until refusal or pressure build-up, followed by cutting/de-nippling and sealing the entry holes flush with polymer mortar. 5. Anti-Corrosive Agent Application: Applying a two-coat anti-corrosive passivating slurry or zinc-rich primer over any exposed reinforcement steel bars within the repair zone. The unit rate includes all labor, materials, equipment, scaffolding/staging, drilling machines, pressure grouting pump, testing, safety precautions, post-grouting surface sealing, debris disposal outside the site premises, and curing complete as per technical specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and applying high-density, non-shrink polymer-modified cementitious repair mortar (PMM) for patching and reinstating chipped, spalled, honeycombed, or recessed concrete surfaces measured on a per square foot (sqft) basis, executed as per the following technical sequence: 1. Surface Preparation & Wetting: Thoroughly cleaning the chipped surface to remove dust, loose particles, oil, and laitance using oil-free compressed air or high-pressure water jet. Pre-soaking the concrete substrate to achieve a Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition prior to mortar application (ensuring no standing water). 2. Bonding Coat: Applying a single coat of polymer-based bonding slurry or bonding agent (polymer mixed with fresh cement) over the prepared concrete and exposed reinforcement to ensure monolithic bond with the repair mortar.
3. Mortar Mixing & Patching: Mixing pre-bagged factory-formulated non-shrink high-density polymer-modified mortar with the specified proportion of clean potable water. Applying and compacting the mortar manually or by trowel into the chipped patch in layers (not exceeding 20 - 25 mm per layer) to eliminate air pockets, voids, and sagging. 4. Finishing & Curing: Finishing and troweling the surface flush to match the profile, alignment, and texture of the adjacent sound concrete structure. Wet curing the patch with moist hessian cloth or applying an approved curing compound for a minimum of 7 days. The unit rate includes all materials (PMM, bonding agent, water), labor, mixing equipment, scaffolding/staging up to 3 meters, trowels and hand tools, surface preparation, wet curing, debris cleaning, and disposal complete as per technical specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and applying a multi-layer, UV-resistant, liquid elastomeric waterproofing membrane system reinforced with geotextile fabric over prepared roof deck/terrace surfaces and extending up to 1 foot (300 mm) height vertically along parapet walls, upstands, and flashings, measured on a per square foot (sqft) basis, executed strictly as per manufacturer specifications and the following procedural sequence: 1. Surface Preparation & Priming: Cleaning the concrete substrate of all dust, grease, laitance, loose particles, and algae using wire brushes and high-pressure water jets. Applying one uniform coat of high-penetration membrane primer (water-based or solvent-based compatible primer) at the specified coverage rate (0.1 - 0.15 Liters/m2) over the entire flat slab and 1 foot up the parapet walls. 2. Geotextile Reinforcement Laying: Laying and embedding a layer of 100 GSM non-woven polyester/polypropylene geotextile fabric directly onto the wet/tacky primed surface (or wet base coat) ensuring a completely wrinkle-free surface with minimum 50 mm (2 inches) side and end overlaps at all fabric joints.
3. Elastomeric Coating (Two Layers): Applying two full coats of a single-component or two-component, high-build, UV-resistant, highly elastomeric, anti-carbonation, anti-fungal, and crack-bridging liquid membrane (acrylic/polyurethane hybrid or pure aliphatic PU) applied cross-directionally (perpendicular to each other) over the embedded geotextile. 4. Curing & Detailing: Allowing specified inter-coat drying intervals (4 - 6 hours depending on ambient temperature) and curing the final coat. Ensuring complete sealing around pipe penetrations, drain outlets, and wall junction fillets. The unit rate includes all materials (primer, 100 GSM geotextile, 2 coats of elastomeric liquid membrane), labor, surface preparation, tools, equipment, scaffolding/staging, lap handling, curing, testing (pond testing if required), clean-up, and disposal of waste complete as per technical specifications and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
