Part I - Malaria protection of over head water tanks Carrying out repair work for existing damaged man hole cover of overhead water tank by providing & fixing the following items including all required painting with one coat of primer & two coats synthetic enemal paint over primer including scaffolding, cementing, welding etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by EIC.
Main bottom frame of 700 mm dia (Approx.) made out of MD angle 50X50X6 mm along with MS flat 25X6, hold fast, ss-304 nut, bolt, nail etc. complete.
Manhole Cover 600mm dia made out 6mm chequered plate, MS flat 32X6mm, lock Patti MS flat 25X6 mm including SS-304 nut, bolt, nail etc. all complete
Hinges (HD) as per existing size made out of MS flats 25X6 mm with SS-304 nut, bolt, nail etc. complete

Part II - Water Tank Cleaning Cleaning & washing of ferrocrete/ Sintex/ RCC over head tanks on the roof of the building, underground tank, Elevated water Reservoir/ tank of various size in four operations (as below) including all necessary materials required for the above job i.e. vacuum pumps, pressure pump, automatic scrubbers, Hot Air Blower machine 10 W, pressure spray and chemical required shall be supplied by contractor at his own cost including scaffolding etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by EIC 1. Shut off/ close the valves of distribution line & drain out the water from tank pumps. 2. Apply approved disinfectant with 10 Kg pressure spray pump. 3. Scrubbing of inner walls, ceiling and bottom surface carefully with nylon based scrubbers. 4. Removal of washed water and sediments from bottom of tanks with vacuum and suction with the help of wet vacuum pumps. 5. Rinse inside surface of tank with clean potable water & again remove the washed water. 6. Internal disinfecting and sterilization treatment through Hot Air Blower machine (at a temperature at 550ºC) for RCC /ferrocrete O. H. water tank/ Underground tank/ ESR. 7. Cleaning and disinfecting of OH water tank should be done in two times in year approx. at an interval of 6 months, out of which one will be before monsoon. 8. Cleaning and disinfecting of Underground & ESR water tank should be done two times in year approx. at an interval of 6 months, out of which one will be before monsoon. 9. The work shall be include removing and re-fixing carefully ball cocks and making arrangement for ladder, buckets, dusters etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. Cleaning of water tanks will be taken up after prior appointment and co-ordination with the pump operator on duty. 2. Chemical required shall be supplied by the contractor at no extra cost to the department. 3. Police verification Certificate of all workers shall be obtained by the contractor.
a) Over head (terrace level/ loft level) PVC tanks for capacity up to 2500 Ltrs for only borewell water (Tanks to be cleaned twice a year)
b) Over head terrace leve/ loft tank, RCC/ PVC /Hume pipe Tanks of capacity 2500 to 5000 Ltrs with domastic & flushing compartment.(Tanks to be cleaned twice a year)
c) Over head ( terrace level) RCC/ PVC /Hume pipe Tanks of capacity 5000 to 10000Ltrs (Tanks to be cleaned twice a year)
d) Tank capacity above 10000 Ltr. (Tanks to be cleaned twice a year)
Cleaning Underground & ESR water tanks: Cleaning of Under ground water storage & ESR tanks as per the above operation in item no. 1 as directed by the EIC
a) RCC Under ground water Tanks up to 2.25 Lakhs Ltrs capacity including all the compartments of domastic and flushing (Tanks to be cleaned twice a year)
b) RCC Hexagonal elevated water tank 1.0 Lakhs Ltrs capacity approx, 16 m height above ground level approx size 6.50 m dia & 3.3 m height (Tanks to be cleaned twice a year)
Testing of water sample periodically for Bacteriological contamination & portability test alternate month( i.e. six times in a year ) & chemical analysis test twice in a year as per testing parameter mentioned below including bringing sterilized empty water sample containers from the NABL ( i.e. National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories ) approved lab / Government laboratory or authorized testing agency with sealed packed & use the same for collecting the water sample from various over head tanks of buildings/ underground tank of pump houses & HLGR and make the arrangement of transport to submit the water samples to laboratory for above test on same day & obtain the necessary test certificates from the Government or other authorized testing agency including submission of the reports to Engineer-In-Charge( Domestic water Supply ) including if any water sample failed for above test then clean the water tanks again & test the water sample again as per clause 3.1 & 3.2 as per terms and conditions etc as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Additional charges will not be paid again for test of water sample if it is fails in first attempt. Parameters for Chemical Test : PH ,Electrical Conductivity ,Total Dissolved Solid, Total Hardness, Iron, Fluoride , Nitrate, Turbidity, Calcium, Magnesium, Magnesium, Total Alkalinity, Carbonate, Bicarbonate, Chloride, Sodium, Potassium, Sulphate, Coli form, E - Coli form

Part III - Septic Tank Cleaning Cleaning & Desludging of Septic tank including dewatering, removing settled sludge by manually or mechanically from allcompartment of septic tank & Transporting removed sludge & other sludge wastes out side the colony including isolating the compartment to take up the job including plugging , diverting the flow , making bypass arrangement if necessary and pulling back in to operation after completion of cleaning including cost of all labour , materials ,tools, transportation , etc. All complete as directed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer -In - charge. NOTE- 1 ) All manholes covers of the compartment shall be kept open for minimum half an hour before the start of cleaning and properly placed after the completion of work . 2 ) Sufficient man power shall be engaged to faciliatate rotation of people working in side the compartment and No body shall be allowed to work in side compartment more than half an hour at single strech. 3) Contractor shall provide protective gears such as gloves , gumboot mouth mask etc, to the workers to be employed in the above job & take necessary precaution to avoid accident of any kind . 4) No open flame shall be brought near the tank and smoking is not permitted inside the tanks. 5) Contractor shall follow the safety measure for ensuring the safety of labourers working at inside the Septic Tanks.

Part IV - Repairing existing damaged water tank Disconnecting the (dia. 32 mm / 40 mm / 50 / 75 mm GI pipe line) outlet line of domestic & flushing tank and Restoring to the original condition after doing water proofing treatment of domestic & flushing tank complete all as per manufacturers specifications and as directed by the engineer-in-charge.
Providing and making cores of 32 mm/40 mm/50 mm / 75 mm dia for each core cutting of tank to the overhead water tank using electric operated core cutting machine and filling of gaps/ holes of old damaged/ abandoned pipes holes with waterproofing cement mortar all complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing cement based waterproofing treatment to the inside surface of water tank by giving injections to concrete bottom slab and walls as required with cement and approved water proofing compound solution to fill up inherent holes, voids, honey-combs etc. complete and treating the floor and walls with waterproofing mortar as per specifications of specialized waterproofing agencies including smooth finishing of surface by trowel in cement colour and testing of water tank by filling up with water for a period of at lest 7 days and as per specifications etc. The thickness of treatment on the floor will be 50 mm thick in C C 1:2:4 by using course aggreegate 10 mm and down and on the walls about 20 mm thick in CM 1:3 including removing existing damaged cracked loosened plaster at all floor levels including cleaning the surface of all loose mortar/ concrete stacking debris at directed place and including scaffolding etc. complete all as directed by the EIC. 1) Measurement shall be taken as per Litre consumption of polymer liquid only for above mentioned operations. 2) Polymer required for the work shall be issued by the Department under Schedule 'B' 3) Bond coat should be applied @ 0.37 ltr./ layer/ sq.m. 4) Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10
Applying two coats of Dr. Fixit Fastflex high performance polymer modified cementatious water proof coating to interior walls and ceiling of over head water tank which consist of dewatering dead storage water from tank , providing scaffolding if required , through cleaning of surface with wire brush and by high pressure water jet / spray cleaning at the pressure of 100 Kg. sq.cm. to remove all loose laitance, dirt, oil and loose material, mixing two components ( i.e. powder and polymer) of Dr. Fixit Fastflex thoroughly without diluting with , applying two coats of Dr. Fixit Fastflex to walls, flooring, leaving one day gap between first and second coat, dry curing the coated surface for 7 days thoroughly cleaning of coated surface with high pressure water jet / spay cleaning at the pressure of 100kg./Sq.cm. after 7 days of dry curing, dewatering the reservoir after cleaning, providing proper lighting arrangement for illuminating the interiors of reservoir to enable proper workmanship and supervision, providing proper electrically operated exhaust & ventilating system for proper ventilation of interior of reservoir to avoid any toxicity to workers, taking proper safety precautions etc. complete all as per manufacturers specifications and as directed by the engineer-in-charge.
Providng and fixing of 32 mm/ 40 mm/ 50 mm/ 75 mm dia pipe sleeves upto 600 mm length and making outer surface rough for scour/ outlet pipe with plug and fixing it to core made at the directed place by using polymer mortar and making the core waterproof etc. a) Providing and making cores in wall of over head RCC wall tank having dia suitable for providing & fixing heavy quality GI pipe wall piece of sleeve (of 32/40/50/75 mm) using electric operated core cutting machine and including providing & fixing heavy quality GI pipe wall piece/ sleeve of dia 32/ 40/ 50/ 75 mm & length 600 mm (approx) for outlet/ scour pipe including making outer surface of pipe rough and filling surrounding of new wall piece with arladite, micro concrete, polymer mortar etc. to achieve complete water tightness. b) After setting of mortar in abandoned hole & surrounding of new core, filling the water in over head water tank for testing leak proof ness for seven day. After ensuring complete water tightness, making connection for water supply from newly fixed outlet pipe incuding providing & fixing all required material, labour, fittings, wastage, scaffolding, fittings, specials etc. disconnection of temporary water supply & making water supply from new outlet pipe etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using acrylic based polymer and comprising the following operations: Important Notes: 1) Breaking cracked/ spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site, simultaneous transportation and disposal at a location in Anushaktinagar as identified by EIC. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. 2) Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping/ wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone/rust remover of Dr.fixit/Anuvi chemicals/Fosroc or other equivalent. 3) Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. 4) Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved manufacturers Like M/s Astra, M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. 5) Bond coat should be applied @0.37ltr/layer/Sq.m 6) Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10 7) Appearance : Milky White, pH Value: 9-10, Specific Gravity :1.055+/0.005, Solid Contents (%w/w): 44+/-1 Solid Contents (%w/w)-: 44+/-1 , Viscocity at 25 Degree C temperature (In Sec ):15-20 8)Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party lab is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply.
a) Building up with polymer modified cementatious mortar for RCC structural members etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day (proportion – cement 50 Kg. : Silica sand 125 Kg. : polymer liquid 10 ltrs.) with necessary bond coat (polymer : Cement = 1:1 by volume) for tack coat and also for subsequent layers using polymer including curing, covering the flooring /window with tarpaulins or equivalent covering material to avoid deposition of polymer mortar and cleaning of floor / windows thoroughly on completion of repair work etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Sand faced cement plaster 20 mm thick in CM 1:4, two coats using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces with base coat of 12 mm thick and finishing coat of 8 mm thick final rendering,including using richer mix for making corners if necessary, at all floors and level, including making grooves of existing size wherever required, including cleaning the surfaces, including membrane curing by applying one coat of factory made curing compound Resikure of M/s Anuvi Chemicals, Concure of M/s fosroc, Dr. Fixit curing compound or other equivalent over repaired surfaces as per manufacturer's specification etc. including removing existing damaged/ worn out plastering and disposing off debris outside colony etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge Note:-1) Contractor will be permitted to carry out the work under this work order, after the contractor makes necessary arrangement to the satisfaction of department towards storing and pumping of water to required capacity at site for ensuring proper curing for the required duration.
Providing & erecting double bamboo scaffolding using minimum 75 mm dia best quality bamboo tied with coir rope to horizontal & vertical members of the bamboos provided as required at spacing of not more than 900 mm apart both vertically & horizontally including providing cross supports as struts to tie the scaffolding properly to the building for maintenance / repair works of external surfaces of buildings as & when required including providing necessary safety belts to workers, dismantling the scaffolding after repair work is completed including cost of transportation, labour, safety belts etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE: 1) The mode of measurement shall be the over all (plain) external surface areas of building covered by the scaffolding measured flat and no deduction shall be made for any openings in the surface. Nor the jambs, sill, soffits etc. of such openings shall be measured for payment. 2) The buildings are G + 3 or 4 storied and hence contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per IS 3696 (Part-I)-1987,(Safety code for scaffolds) 3) Labours working on the scaffolding should be provided with safety belts, helmets and they should wear the same while working. Labours seen not wearing safety belts and helmets shall be sent out of the work immediately. 4) The scaffolding once provided for the repair works shall be removed after the entire repair workis complete in all respects. 5) The workers engaged on the repair work are required to be insured as per Govt. norms at the cost of contractors. 6) Necessary Aluminium / M.S. ladder shall be provided at the cost of the Contractor, to the full height of scaffolding at required locations around the building to enable department Engineer /Supervisor to climb up and closely watch the repair building.
Providing RCC precast covers for the sluice valve/ air valve chambers of the specified sizes , including the cleaning of chambers, cost of necssary steel reinforcement for slab cast in MS box frame 25mm*25mm*5mm size in three equal pieces fabricated angels all around & MS flats stiffeners etc. MS hooks at both sides of top of each cover with reinforcement weighing not less than 110kg/m3, providing & fixing C.I. circular surafce box weighing not less than 14kg with a hinged lid over the RCC slab in central piece for key rod operation, all as per specification including shifting of old serviceable covers to the mechanical section stores, disposing the unserviceable materials etc complete as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

"DCSEM SEWER and YEAR" shall be embossed on cover.

Providing & fixing in position at all levels HDP Loft Tanks of Sintex or equilevent make of following capacity rotationary moulded Polyethylene white coloured water storage tank including making inlet ,overflow and scour connection up to 50mm size drilling hole in the tank , including providing and fixing PVC specials , hexagonal check nuts , washer ,nipples, union and the cost of joining materials , ball cock etc. all as per specification including disconnecting the existing outlet pipes / connection s and removing old Sintex tanks with ball cocks etc. and complete all as directed by the Engineer-In Charge.

Demolishing RCC works by chiseling at all levels including scaffolding,cutting of reinforcement bars by gas cutting, straightening and stackingof steel bars and disposal of unserviceable materials complete all per specification & as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge.
Providing & fixing stainless steel Anchor fastner as specified below of Hilti make (HILTI HIT-V-8.8 M12 x 220 LENGTH or its approved equivalent including drilling holes 14 mm dia to required depth upto 165 mm, cleaning the same and grouting the holes with Hilti HIT RE 500 V4 or equivalent approved chemical, fixing the fastner in proper position at all levels etc. complete all as per drawing/ sketch, specifications and as per direction of the Engineer- in- Charge.
