CHAPTER - I EARTH WORK

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge

All kinds of soil

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Supplying chemical emulsion in sealed containers including delivery as specified.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level

CHAPTER - V STEEL WORK

62 mm thick cement concrete flooring with concrete hardener topping, under layer 50 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) and top layer 12mm thick cement hardener consisting of mix 1:2 (1 cement hardener mix : 2 graded stone aggregate, 6mm nominal size) by volume, hardening compound mixed @ 2 litre per 50 kg of cement or as per manufacturer’s specifications. This includes cost of cement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete.

Cement plaster skirting up to 30 cm height, with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), finished with a floating coat of neat cement.

CHAPTER - VII ROOFING

Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations:

Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment.

Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement :5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs.

After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer in-charge.

Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick joint less cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer in-charge including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep.

The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge :

With average thickness of 120mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portions of W.C., kitchen and the like consisting of:

Ist course of applying cement slurry @ 4.4 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 in recommended proportions including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface.

IInd course of 20 mm cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface.

MV PANELS

Design, manufacture, supplying fixing in position, testing and commissioning of the following front operated modular compartmentalised construction cubicle type, front access, dead back, 2mm thick steel enclosed free standing, dust and vermin proof, switchboard with IP42 protection with hinged and lockable doors duly powder coated complete with incoming & outgoing MCCB's/MCB, aluminium busbars, interconnections, tinned copper crimping lugs, bonding to earth, suitable for use at 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire 50 Hertz system, and panel shall have at least two spare cubicles to suit the highest rating outgoing MCB & suitable for a fault level of (25 KA) symmetrical at 415 volts.

All switchboards shall have provision for entry of cables from the top/bottom as required.

The cost shall include providing and fixing of 100 x 50 x 6 mm channels for switchboard support.

All live accessible parts shall be shrouded and all equipment shall be finger touch proof. The Busbars insulation shall be with heat shrinkable sleeves. SMC/DMC shrouds and busbar supports shall be used. Padlocking facility shall be provided on all outgoing feeders doors and switch handles shall be lockable OFF position

All MCCB shall have rotary handles & extension terminal, phase barrier on both sides as required at site.

CHAPTER - XIV : ROAD & HARD STANDING

Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth with lead upto 50 metres.

Supply, Installation of long life Maintenance Free Earthing System. The Rod shall be of Copper Bonded Steel with 17.2 mm dia. and 10 feet length with a core of mild steel molecularly bonded with min. 250 microns coating of 99.99% pure electrolytic grade Copper and exothermically welded Cu Busbar of 50X6X200mm both tested by CPRI capable of bearing fault current of 25 kA. Along with earth enhancement compound tested by RoHs complying IEC 62561-7 in a sealed bag of minimum 30 kg (10 kg Bag x 3) resistivity is less than 0.2 ohm meter . The earthing shall be with Suitable Poly-plastic Pit Cover with lockable arrangement( JMV/ERICO)

Providing and laying G.I. tape 32 mm X 6 mm from earth electrode directly in ground as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm G.I strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.I. nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

CHAPTER - XIX: ARBORICULTURE

AVENUE TREE PLANTATION.

Digging of pits of size 1.0M x 1.0 M x 1.0 M, in any type of soil. Refilling of pits with a mixture of good earth and cow dung organic manure in the ratio 3:1 (Three part of good earth and one of organic manure). Flooding the pit with water so that the earth manure mixture settles down. Supply and plantation of approved variety of tree sapling, disease free, healthy, fully established 1-2 years old with well developed root system in the centre of pit with a clear minimum height of 4 ft, after the plantation, proper watering and caring for 30 days regularly as the minimum guarantee period. (Variety : Azadirachta Indica (Neem) / Callislemon Lanceolatus (Bottle Brush) / Dalbergia sissoo / Pangomia / Gulmohar / Ashoka Pendula / Champa / Casia semia / Peltaphourm Equi). Maintenance includes, regular watering, de-weeding. Spray of insecticide and fungicide as and when required for a peirod of one month.

Watering it for 30 days regularly as the minimum guarantee period (Corton/chandani/Ixzora/Rose Varieties/ Casia bi flora/calandera / Acalypha.

LAWN DEVELOMENT

Excavation in any type of soil removal of small stones, pebbles, brick or boulders and stacking them at site for measurement. Refilling of dugout area with good earth (to be measured and paid for separately) and dressing up the area as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Removal and disposal of stacked material to a distance upto 3 Kms with all leads and lifts etc. complete by mechanical transport, loading, uploading, royalty all complete.

HEDGE PLANTATION

Digging of trenches of size 60 cms x 45 cms x running mts length in all type of soil. Rest all the item are same as in item No.3 of shrubs ,plantation except that the minimum 07 number of hedges sapling should be planted per running metre(Clerodondroninerme/ Putranjeeva/Golden Durenta Equi)

GROUND COVER:

Digging upto 0.3m, refilling with agriculture soil and cattle manure in 4:1 ratio. Provision of anti termite treatment at plantation time. Maintenance includes ,regular watering, dee weeding. Pruning and spraying of insecticides and fungicide as and when required for a period of one month.

PVC Planter Box. Supply of PVC planter box with tray suitable for 12" to 14" size earthen pots.
