M&L for Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud vegitation grass etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 Kg / 10 Sqm and bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness using crushed graded stone aggregate mixed with binder content of paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5% binder contents by weight of total mix by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 Tonne capacity power roller including preparation of bitumen carpet in digital computarized weigh batch hot mix plant, complete all as specified. Note: The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per Design mix approved by GE. (The cost of transportation of the material to the Govt approved lab and design mix charges shall be borne by the contractor). for the purpose of quoting, the contractor shall consider 5.5% binder by weight of total mix. However, the work shall be executed as per approved design and price adjustment shall be done only for variation (plus or minus) in quantity of binder priced at supply only rate of bitumen (as per purchase voucher of main producer).

Repair to pot holes any depth not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc including cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ at 05 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of limestone, sand stone, flint or quartzite stone of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread,watered, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required rolled with 8 ton to 12 ton power roller and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (design mix) with 4% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and premixed material laid with mechanical paver finished including rolling to required camber and gradient (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor shall quote his rates by considering binder content as 4% of the total mix by weight. However in case of any variation in the weight of binder as per actual mix design, the same shall be adjusted at supply only rate of bitumen all as per sample kept in GE office and as directed.

Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed. directed.

S&F in repair Dual directional reflective cat eye of aluminium casted stud 100x100mm having micro cube corner spark glow reflector white/ red/ yellow on side provided with steel zinc plated nail of dia 12mm of length 120mm for fixing to road by hammering etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L of new/ old black top surface road surface and applying one coat of retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint 2 mm thick for longer durability with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree celcius. Paint material shall be conforming to Ministry of surface transport (MOST) specification 803.4 Vol - I as laid down in specification of road / bridge work "third revision" after cleaning surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.
