REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF SECURITY LIGHTS, STREET LIGHTS, POLES, HIGH MAST LIGHTS, LT CABLES AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AFS ADAMPUR

Excavation in trenches n. exc 1.5 metre wide for taking out/ laying pipe line, cable, foundation etc. n. exc 1.5 metre deep and getting out as in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified. NOTES : Excavation work will be carried out by contractor manually and very carefully without endangering existing underground cables, pipe lines and adjoining structures, if any. In case any damage is caused, the same shall be made good by the contractor without any extra cost to the Govt.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified.

Removal of excavated surplus spoil to a distance n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified.

M&L for Sand cushioning ( local dry river sand) for under ground cable 23cm thick (one layer of 8cm thickness before laying the cable and other layer of 15cm thickness after laying the cable) all as specified and directed. NOTE:- Punned down thickness (over all 18cm) shall be considered for measurement and payment.)

M&L for Brick protection with pulverized fuel ash lime bricks laid flat across the route of underground cable all as specified and directed.

Boring holes under road pavement / hardstanding by trenchless technology using ultrasound technique and necessary machine for inserting & including 80-100 mm bore HDPE pipe complete, all as specified.

GI pipe light grade with all fittings fixed as termination postal ,fixed to poles/ walls/ under floors/ under road etc including taking down existing pipe complete all as specified of following size: -

Taking down existing high mast system / tower of any description from any height for checking functioning including repair, servicing, lubrcation, overhauling etc. to raising and lowering system, double drum winch, tightening of trailing cable, up and down of lantern carriage and re-fixing of light fitting(s) and making connections inluding necessary repairs/replacement of defective parts within 24 hour of receipt of complaint to the contractor by the MES, complete. NOTE: Supply only parts will be measured & paid for separately under respective item of BoQ.

MAKE: Swadeep Cat part no. 02EC8KW3P or equivalent make mentioned in Appendix 'B'.

NOTES APPLICABLE TO SERAL ITEM NO. 1 TO 26:- (i) To maintain utmost security at AF Station, contractor will arrange his workmen along with T&P in a manner that nonfunctional light fitting is made functional swiftly within 24 hour of receiving of complaint from the MES, during entire contract period. (ii) Not withstanding with the provision of "Compensation for Delay' envisaged under condition 50 of IAFW-2249, General Conditions of Contracts, additional compensation @ Rs. 500/- day will be charged from contractor in case he fails to make the light fitting functional to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge within 24 hour of receiving of complaint from the MES regarding non working light fitting. (iii) For "Performance Warranty of LED light & parts, refer PS clause 19.6.2 here-in-after.

M&L for preparing of old faded paint surface and painting with paint to existing LT PCC/ RCC/ Steel tubular poles of size 9 m long up to height of 1.2 m from the bottom with approved white and blue colour alternatively including pole number with paint same as existing earlier complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Applying two coats of aluminium paint on steel tublar poles 9 metre long (overall length including planting depth) including connected steel structures such as channels, cross arms, bracings, brackets, clamps, anti climbing devices etc., making blue and white strips 30cm each upto 1.5 metre height from top of PCC foundation and writing pole no. of height 80mm with white shade synthetic enamel paint in capital letters over 150mm x 230mm yellow base and applying two coats of cement base paint on PCC portion including preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified.

NOTE : Amount of credit for retrieved materials is mentioned in tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted while acceptance of tender offline.
