Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) breaking with breakers and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 1603.1, 1603.2 and sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-serviceable material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all un-useful surplus material to required width of the road or to approved dumping sites by Engineer-in-Charge through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machinery, material, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls,breast walls,culverts,drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks,chiseling /wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing and technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shorting and bracing , removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including sorting and strutting and pumping and bailing out water(surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malakana, toll tax, sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:5:10 (One cement : five sand : 10 graded stone aggregate) 40mm (Forty millimeters) nominal size and curing complete including the cost of form work for plain concrete in retaining walls, breast walls as per drawing and HPPWD technical specifications including entire carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weep holes in brick/stone masonry/plain/reinforced concrete abutment , wing walls, return walls, retaining walls with 100mm (One hundred millimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slopes of I(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per draswing and technical specification clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malakana, toll tax, sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Laying of bedding for pipes 1st class Type-B on well compacted sand moorum or approved granular material as per Clause 1105 (ii) including carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts as directed by the Engineer-in-Charges.

Providing and laying single layer of 900mm dia (Nine hundred millimeters internal diameter) reinforced concrete pipe NP-2 for culverts on 1st class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (One cement : two sand) but excluding excavation protection, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets clause 1108 (to level or slopes) and jointing reinforced concrete light duty non pressure pipe of I.S. Class NP-2 with collars butt ends prepared for collars joints including testing of joints complete including entire carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 1:3:6 (One cement : three sand : six graded stone crushed aggregate) 40mm (Forty millimeters size) nominal mix M-10 concrete for plain/reinforcement concrete in Toe wall & flooring complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including curing complete and cost of form work in foundation and plinth including carriage of materials upto all leads and lifts as directed by the Engineer-in-Charges.

Providing and laying plain/reinforced mechanically mixing and vibrated concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundation for all type of structure complete of plain cement concrete nominal mix 1:4:8 (one cement:four sand :eight graded crushed stone aggregaste) 20mm (Twenty millimetre size) in or under water and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slaush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/depths including the cost of form work as per drawings and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.
