EXCAVATION AND EARTH WORK

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc. or for manholes etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick with soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus excavated material (soils) to distance exceeding 250 m but not exceeding 500 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

CONCRETE WORK

Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete drain pipes class NP3 laid and jointed complete with collars, bore of pipe 150 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, bore of pipe 150 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in foundation, filling and mass concrete including filling around pipes complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate in coping/channel inside the manholes/benching etc. including formwork and weathering/slightly rounded or chamferred angle making the surface even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including moulds mitred/stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for precast manhole covers in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate of size as per site requirement including finishing the surface even and smooth including making holes and inserting MS conduit pipe with provision of MS round bars 10 mm dia made in shape for lifting the MH cover 2 Nos with each cover complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for precast reinforced cement concrete/ reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, shelves and the like complete all as specified.

Material and labour for providing plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in bed plate/roof kerb/PCC padding and haunching etc. complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES :- (i) PCC shall be laid in slope and thickness shall be average (minimum average thickness 25 mm or as per site requirement for maintaining the slope to drain out rain water as directed. (ii) No hand mixing shall be allowed, mixing shall be done at ground floor and mixed materials deposited on roof by manually/mechanically to achieve the proper strength and workmanship.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for repair to RCC structure using micro concrete all as per manufacturer's instructions, as described below complete all as specified and as directed :- (a) Chipping off existing loose and damaged/cracked/plaster surfaces at location decided by Engineer-in-Charge to depth not exceeding 100 mm using pneumatic tools or with chiseling & wire brushes, descale the exposed surfaces of reinforcement with wire brushes, removing all loose rust scales from rebar blowing all loose dust with blower and washing concrete surfaces. A coat of alkali rust converting primer shall be applied on the reinforcement bars. (b) Welding additional reinforcement bars where dis of existing bar is found reduced than specified limit as directed. (Reinforcement bbars shall be measured and paid separately. (c) Applying a coat of anti corrosive protective coating on both old & new reinforcement bars surfaces as per manufacturer's instructions. (d) Applying a coat of epoxy resin concrete bonding agenet to exposed concrete surfaces and rebars. (e) Providing polymer modified Cement Mortar in specified composition for complying manufacturer's instructions (thickness varies from 25 mm to 100 mm) NOTES :- (i) The cost for necessary scaffolding & formwork shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) The work shall be carried out upto G+4 floors.

BRICK WORK

Material and labour for brickwork with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brickwork with sub class 'B' bricks, strainght or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for drillig holes for pipes etc. in cudappa stone/granite stone including RCC slab not exceeding 25 mm dia and not exceeding 150 mm depth complete all as specified and as directed.

WOOD WORK

Material and labour for use and waste of formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunchings, girders, bressumers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs etc. also splays between floors and beams etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for use and waste of formwork to soffits of suspended slab, landings and similar work not exceeding 200mm thick (horizontal or sloping) with rough finished surface of concrete slab complete all as specified and as directed.

JOINERY WORK

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutter (withour taking off shutter from the frame) not exceeding 1.5 Sqm each complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutter (withour taking off shutter from the frame) exceeding 1.5 Sqm but not exceeding 4.0 Sqm each complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down shutter of any description exceeding 1 Sqm but not exceeding 2 Sqm each complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing second class hardwood plain, solid, straight chowkats or frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered put together with glue, pinned at joints complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 35 mm thick second class hardwood factory made panelled shutters (any number of panels) with panels of timber flat on both sides (feather edges) or of veneered particle board medium density wood particle board with commercial face veneers, supplied and fixed to chowkats complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Shutters shall be brought at site without primer and got approved from Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing 35 mm thick second class hardwood factory made glazed and skeleton shutters, open rebated and prepared to receive gauze/glass etc. (with sash bars) divided into square and half portion panel upto middle rail and provided with 12 mm thick prelaminated particle board laminated on both sides with choice lamination and edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass etc. sizes of members of shutters as specified in MES SSR Part I, section 8, clause 8.20(a) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing fibre glass reinforced plastic (FRP) door frames of cross section 90 mm x 45 mm having single rebate of 32 mm x 15 mm to receive shutter of 30 mm thickness, laminate 2 mm thick moulded with fire resistant grade unsaturated polyester resin and choped mat, frame covered with fibre glass from all sides, MS stay provided at the bottom to sturdy the frame complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Door frame shall be water proof, termite proof, elegant and shall have excellent screw holding strength to fix hinges and hold doors properly for long life.

Supply and fixing 30 mm thick fibre glass reinforced plastic (FRP) flush door shutters in different plain and wood finish made with the fire retardent unsaturated polyester resin, moulded to 3 mm thick FRP laminate all round with suitable wooden blocks inside at required places for fixing of fittings and polyurethane foam (PUF)/polyester foam used as filler material throughout the hollow panel, casted monolithically with testing parameters of FRP laminate conforming to table 3 of IS 14856 complete all as specified and as directed.

BUILDERS HARDWARE WORK

Supply and fixing galvanized steel wire cloth 0.63 mm dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40 mm and fixed with GI wire staples complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 100 mm thick butt hinge medium weight cold rolled mild steel complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 150 mm aluminium anodized barrel tower bolt of extruded section, ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 150 mm extruded aluminium alloy handle, fabricated type, anodised, ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing continuous piano hinge, width of flap 30 mm, mild steel bright finish or electro galvanized complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing aluminium anodised barrel tower bolt of extruded section complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 100 mm thick hasp and staple, safety typee, brass with mild steel pin including bolt to hinge plate, fixed with screws complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 300 mm long mild steel chromium plated sliiding door bolt, plate type with bright bolt not less than 12 mm dia with and including a minimum of 6 bolts and nuts, four on bolt plate and two on staple plate complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing mild steel spring 300 mm for door, ordinary rat tail pattern including roller and roller plate including welding as required for steel frame complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel wire cloth 0.56 mm dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.18 mm and fixed with tinned tracks or wooden beading pattu complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs curtain rod metallic 25 mm dia harrison rails, mild steel chromium plated including long projected bracket of heavy section both side fixed in position by drilling holes in walls and fixing the bracket with rawl plugs and steel screws complete all as specified and as directed.

STEEL, IRON AND ALUMINIUM WORK

Supply and fixing frame work such as grills of approved design using square bars of frame of MS hollow square tubes framed guard bars etc. and flat iron for MH covers all round of RCC 1:2:4 with sharp edges and grinding all the corners including all welding and welding the TMT car and similar work conforming to Fe-410-0 or Fe-310-0 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for steel TMT bar 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) aluminium frame for windows, ventilators with one of more rebates including jointing cleat for fixing etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) aluminium shutters for windows (sliding/openable) including providing and fixing hinges/pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket required with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS 733 and IS 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. (aluminium section shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required) including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing/paneling, CP brass/stainless steel screws complete as per drawings complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- The rate shall be deemed to include sliding arrangement for sliding window including locking arrangement, powder coated aluminium handle 1 No with each leaf, tower bolts 2 Nos with each leaf, aluminium hinges heavy duty 2 Nos with each leaf and powder coated aluminium stay 01 No with each leaf with casement window and moving arrangement for louvres type ventilators.

Material and labour for steel TMT bars 5 mm dia and over upto and including 10 mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

ROOF & ROOF TREATMENT WORK

Taking down carefully existing treatment of sunken portion in bathroom/toilet by taking out plaster, concrete/brick bat filling /tiling including plumbing from the sunken floor and wall up to RCC slab, roughening the surface with wire brushing, cleaning and washing with water etc., and removing the rubbish to a distance exceeding 500m but n.exc 1Km & depositing where directed .

Material and labour for treatment to sunken portion of slab in bathroom/toilet complete as mentioned below complete all as specified and as directed:- (i) Filling cracks and joints in RCC surfaces of bottom and side walls with materials specified by the manufacturer of the polyurethane based treatment. (ii) Cleaning the concrete surfaces of sunken portion of slab and side walls as per manufacturer's instructions (manufactuer of the polyurethane based treatment) (iii) All the joints of pipes with the wall shall be sealed properly by the material recommended by the manufacturer of the polyurethane based treatment. (iv) Applying 2 coats of polyurethane based treatment of the manufacturer's listed in Appendix 'B' to PS complete all as per manufacturer's instructions on the wall and floor surfaces including applying over joints of pipes with walls. (v) Applying 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 mixed with 2% WPC as per manufacturer's instruction on both wall and floor surfaces. The plastered surface shall be cured properly and finally dried. (vi) Checking the sunken slab by ponding test with water till total elimination of leakage/seepage/ dampness including treatment of the surfaces if any as per manufacturer's recommendations (manufacturer of polyurethane based treatment)

(vii) The sunken portion shall be filled with brick bat filling for the depth as per site requirement. (viii) Laying 40 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate over brick bat filling. (ix) Applying two coats of polyurethane based treatment of the manufacturer's listed in Appendix 'B' complete all as per manufacturer's instructions on the PCC of floor and wall surfaces upto 150 mm above FFL. (x) Laying coloured non skid tiles as specified over 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 with the help of spacers (2-3 mm) and joints of tiles sealed with epoxy based joint sealing compound (including junction/joint of wall and floor) with matching colour floor tiles laid before dado tiles. NOTE :- (i) For payment purpose, only plan floor area shall be measured.

Ditto all as per item No. 44 but in area not exceeding 0.36 Sqm as in kitchen for trap portion complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down carefully existing bitumen tarfelt including plastering upto 15 mm thick, cleaning the surface and making free of dirt, foreign particles, laitance followed by grinding all protrusions to make surface modulated and removing all foreign materials/bituminous primer completely, cleaning and washing the existing surface of roof/slab, terraces including flashings and junction of parapets/curb walls etc. complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES :- (i) Contractor shall not throw the debris and taking down material from roof and shall make suitable arrangement to get down the material from roof. (ii) If taking down plaster is exceeding 15 mm than PCC and plaster both shall be measured under concerned item of Sch 'A'/BOQ. (iii) Removing of rubbish to a distance outside MOD land at own arrangement of contractor.

Material and labour for cleaning the newly plastered surfaces thoroughly with wire brushes and providing water proofing treatment as given below complete all as specified and as directed :- (a) Bituminous primer @ 0.30 Ltres per Sqm conforming to IS : 3384 (ii) 3 mm thick APP polymer modified membrane of minimum weight 3 Kg per Sqm (one layer) laid by torch application method. (iii) Applying two coats of bituminous based aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg in two coats (total in 2 coats) per Sqm over membrane NOTE :- The overlaps of APP membrane shall be as per SSR Part-I and APP membrane shall be laid by expert/highly skilled workers only. Bituminous based aluminium paint shall be applied by brushes only.

CEILING WORK

Supply and fixing in repairs 18 mm thick prelaminated particle board exterior grade medium density, one side with decorative choice lamination and other side balancing white lamination as in panels of partitions/cup board shelves including providing wooden brackets minimum 25 mm x 25 mm and of length as depth of sub board for support of laminated boards and the like fixed in wooden frame with wooden beading complete all as specified and as directed.

FLOORING WORK

Material and labour for brushing cement slurry @ 3Kg per Sqm on existing concrete surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 25 mm thick plain cement concrete (PCC) 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for coloured non skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick of colour pattern as approved and as per manufacturer's catalogue (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sqm but not exceeding 0.18 Sqm, in floor etc. over 15mm thick screed bed with Cement Mortar 1:6 set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- This item shall not be measured for the flooring in sunken portion of toilet, bath and kitchen.

Material and labour for coloured glazed ceramic tiles 300 x 450 mm & 7-8 mm thick on vertical surfaces of colour pattern as approved and as per manufacturer's catalugue such as in skirting, dado's etc. set and jointed in cement slurry over and including 10 mm thick bedding layer/backing coat in Cement Mortar 1:4 complete and pinted in white or coloured cement to match complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Skirting shall be provided to match with colour and size of floor tiles provided in rooms and other locations.

Material and labour for machine cut cudappah stone 20 mm to 25 mm thick over and including 15 mm thick cement screed bed in CM 1:6 laid and jointed in grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of slab including rubbing and polishing complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for kota stone 20-25 mm thick polished of uniform colour as in floors of landing/ passages and similar works etc. including in riser & treads of steps and including 15 mm thick cement screed in Cement Mortar 1:6 and jointed with grey cement mixed with pigments to match the shade of the slab complete all as specified and as directed. NOTES :- (i) The exposed edges of treads shall be provided in full moulding and with three line grooves in each tread as directed. (ii) The treads and risers shall be provided with single piece kota stone.

Material and labour for providing cement slurry @ 3 Kg per Sqm on existing roof surface before laying PCC/plaster complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate 75 mm thick as in plinth protection and surface finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 100 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base floor complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for chequered cement concrete tiles 20 cm x 20 cm x 25 mm thick with grey pigment set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors complete all as specified and as directed.

PLASTERING WORK

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 15 mm thick cement plaster in Cement Mortar 1:6 on brick surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including in patches complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 15 mm thick cement plaster in Cement Mortar 1:4 on brick surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including in patches complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 10 mm thick cement plaster in Cement Mortar 1:3 as in ceiling finished even and smooth without using extra cement including in patches complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering 5 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:3 on concrete surfaces mixed with water proofing compound @ 0.12 Litre per bag of cement or as per manufacturer's instruction and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- Supply only water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15 mm thick for laying floor finished in Cement Mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cutting grooves of size 10mm wide and 12 mm deep in brick/concrete surface of wall including trimming surface and filling the grooves width Gun graded polyurathane sealant as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed.

WHITE WASHING, COLOUR WASHING AND DISTEMPERING WORK

Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of ceilings and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over one coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement based paint over one coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing surface treatment by mechanical grinder so that underneath plaster surface is exposed from old brick/concrete surfaces on walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper using roller, brushes including in patches over a coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for complete removal of existing surface treatment by mechanical grinder so that underneath plaster surface is exposed and applying two coats of cement based paint over one coat of alkali resistant primer on old surfaces of wall complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old surfaces by scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and greasy spots, removing nails and making the surface smooth by using sand paper and filling the holes with putty etc. and applying two coats of white wash on ceiling complete all as specified and as directed.

GLAZING WORK

Supply and fixing 4 mm thick sheet glass, ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square not exceeding 0.5 Sqm in each pane including small pieces as required for louvred ventilators complete all as specified and as directed.

PAINTING WORK

Material and labour for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces exceeding 10 cm width or girth including preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of pink primer on wood or wood based surfaces exceeding 10 cm width or girth including preparation of new or previously untreated surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

WATER SUPPLY, PLUMBING AND SANITARY APPLIANCES WORK

Supply and fixing in repairs vitreous china wash hand basin of size 550 x 400 mm, white colour flat back excluding taps, chain and plug and porcelain stopper but including brackets and CP waste fitting complete all as specified and as directed,

Supply and fixing in repairs vitreous china squatting pan orissa pattern size 580 x 440 mm white with CI P or S trap, front or back inlet and integral foot rests including connection to trap & flush pipe etc. complete including packing bottom and sides in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 mm granded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs 10 litres capacity PVC valveless syphonic action type flushing cistern high/low level white complete with inlet, ball valve, float and handle including brackets and telescopic down flush pipes and jointing with WC complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair PVC connection 15 mm size with PTMT nuts, of length 600 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair fancy type pillar tap, cast copper alloy with capstan heads, chrimium plated, screwed down, high pressure, 15 mm bore size with or without letter 'Hot' or 'Cold' with long screwed shanks and fly nuts, screwed for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair cast copper alloy CP angle valve stop cock with flange suitable for 15 mm bore pipe screwed at both ends, high pressure with capstan heads complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair bib tap with flange of bore size 15 mm, cast copper alloy, chromium plated, fancy type with crutch or butterfly handle screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair cast copper alloy CP concealed stop cock with flange suitable for 15 mm bore pipe, screwed both ends, high pressure with capstan heads complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs CP brass shower rose of size 125 mm square/circular as approved, swivel type with CP extension rod 15 mm dia and 200 mm long suitable for 15 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair tubular towel rail, 20 mm dia, D type, 60 cm long between flanges of brass chromium plated fixed with and including CP brass screws in cleats (minimum weight 90 gms) complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTE :- The plate rack shall be of 1st quality and weight and composition of SS shall be as per relevant IS.

Supply and fixing in repairs stainless steel sink with draining board made out of 1 mm thick sheet for kitchen or laboratory with plug, washers, waste pipe, cast iron cantilever brackets, connecting union overall size 915 mm x 460 mm with bowl size 410 mm x 330 mm x 160 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down steel tubing of 15 mm bore and connections from walls and ceilings or laid in floors including cleaning for refixing in same position (walls/ceilings/floors etc.) complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down steel tubing of 20 mm bore and connections from walls and ceilings or laid in floors including cleaning for refixing in same position (walls/ceilings/floors etc.) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing 20 mm dia CPVC SDR 11 pipe & plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings on walls/ceilings or laying in floors including chase cuttings for concealed complete all as specified and as directed.
