Excavating over area n.exc. 1.5 metre deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed at level n exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 tonnes roller complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade V as specified Table 900-1 of MoRT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread andleveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013.

Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in two layers of 75 mm each grading as per table 400-13 of MoRT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRT&H specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013.

Material & labour for applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade confirming to IS 8887 (latest edition) at a rate of application of 0.3 - 0.35 Kg/ Sqm conforming to clause 505 of MORT&H specifications for Road & Bridge works, 2013 using mechanical sprayer or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed

Providing and consolidating 75 mm thick premix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM Grading-11) using min 4.5 % VG 30 grade binder by weight of total mix aggregate gradation as per Grading 2 of Table 500-10 of MoRT&H specification oad and bridge works 2013, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Bitumenous concrete (BC) 50 mm thick (consolidated thickness) layer conforming to clause 507 of MORT&H specifications for Road and Bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, with 5.4% binder (VG-30) contents by weight of total mix, crushed aggregate of grading 2, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved job mix formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen of specific temperature throughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, anti stripping agent, warm mix additives as per mix design in hot mix plant (batch type), carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks or any other approved and and suitable arrangements, laying and hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber through rolling with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface ......Item no 9.00 Contdd

contdd... including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 6 % VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/CTL/Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 5.4 % by weight of total mix as per clause 507.2.5 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) The cost of materials, transportation, Job mix formula form lab and testing charges for various tests as required are included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor. (iii) Cost of Filler i.e. rock dust, hydrated lime or cement is deemed to be included in unit rate.

Notes :(iv) if qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs. 45.00 Per KG and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified is respective items of BOQ, no adjustment shall be made. (v) After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 of MoRT&H specification entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonnes (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonnes static weight, followed by finish rolling with 6 to 8 tonnes smooth wheeled tandem roller as per clause no. 507.4.8 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision) and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and fix solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 2 mm thick, white/yellow hot thermoplastic road marking paint, confirming to BS standard 3262 with 20% glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by automatic mechanical machine engine driven machine, painting as in strips (continuous or breaking) complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for foundation, etc. for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm grded stone aggregate) as in sub base, foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates) as in surface channel and drains complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for rendering 15 mm thick cement plaster 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces including mixing only water proofing compound as per manufacturers instruction, finished even and smooth (with out using extra cement) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.
