Note for Ser item No 40.00: - The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting his rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be included for: - (i) The contractor shall be provided dewatering pump of suitable capacity and mobile generator for operation of dewatering by high pressure submersible pump (or) Diesel driven high pressure pump and the quoted rate is inclusive of rent/ hiring charge complete. (ii) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Useful material shall be stacked. (iii) Material removed from the tank shall be disposed off at outside MOD land. (iv) Tank shall be made available for cleaning for a period of 8 hours only and contractor has to arrange sufficient labour/ T&P to complete the job with the given period only or otherwise penality shall be imposed @ Rs 1500/- per day.

Cleaning of service tanks of the capacity as mentioned below on roof top of bldgs upto five storey after disconnection from inlet and outlet pipe, removing of float valve of service tank and keep aside safely for reuse drain out water through drain plug, cleaning thoroughly to remove all scales and dirt by brushing internal surface, cleaning properly inside with soda wash, flushing out with fresh water, re-positioning of tank at same place, re-connecting inlet and outlet pipes, closing of drain plug, re-installation of float valve duly cleaned, writing/ labelling the record of cleaning carried out with white bold letter such as "TANK CLEANED ON"(month and year), including removing creepers, vegetation and roots of plants, trees branches on or surrounding of service tank complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - (i) Unit rates quoted is deemed to be included for testing of water supply in tank both inlet and outlet flow during next supply hours early in the morning or late in evening. (ii) Contractor shall maintain a pucca bound register for cleaning carried out with date and obtain users signature and remarks if any and this register to be submitted alongwith RAR. (iii) Contractor is liable to rectify any damages to the external finishes of the bldg occured during the cleaning process, i.e. scrubbing and touch up with external paints as existing specifications. Unit rate quoted is deemed too be included the cost of the same. (iv) All sort of petty T&P items such as ladder, safety equipment, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost to deptt.

For masonry/ PVC tank exceeding 250 litres and not exceeding 500 litres.

Attending day to day water supply service related complaints like choking of rising main pipes of buildings, blockage in control valves/ float valves/ pipe fittings, etc, applying necessary Engineering efforts like dismantle of pipes and fittings to clean and remove blocking objects, descaling of pipes, re-fixing of pipes on wall, etc to restore the proper flow of water to service tanks complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for Ser item No 48.00: - (a) The contractor has to attend above mentioned job in any location of entire MD accn and OTM accn of Sunjuwan. (b) The service tanks are positioned on roof top of multi storied buildings upto four storey. Contractor is responsible to ensure that the labour employed should be equipped with safety items like industrial helmet, safety belt, extensible ladder of 40 feet length, plumbing and cuttings tools, etc. (c) The cost of rethreading of GI pipes of 25mm dia and adding of new GI nipple of suitable length after rethreading is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (d) Due to shortage of water in the station, the repair work and testing required under this item need to be carried out during water supply distribution hours i.e. 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM. Nothing extra shall be permitted in this regard. (e) The cost of repair to the damages of cemented surfaces/ external finishes/ metal clamps of rising pipes are also deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (f) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 6 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(g) If the delay is more than 06 hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 100/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor.

Supply and fixing ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball screwed for iron pipe and pipe and fixed for 20 mm dia bore and including taking out unserviceable ball valves complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- (i) Approval of chemical (Calcium hypochlorine) will be given after verification of test certifiate of chemical of various manufacturer's and other factors like chemical and safety and health hazard aspect of usage of chlorination. (ii) The branch/ make of the chlorination of chemical must be sealed in production and certified by Govt laboratory confirming compliance of specification suitable for drinking water with a declaration from the laboratory that from the technical strength, stability, health safety and operation point of view this product is used for drinking water applications for consumption by humans and the brand. Make of calcium hypochlorite is suitable for drinking water chlorination and its sample has been tested by Govt Laboratory. Makes: - Declibac/ Potter and watts/ Purichlor/ Sree Rayalseema Hi strength Hypo Ltd or any other make as specified in Group - I of Appx 'C'.

Material and labour Arrangement of Chemical and bacteriological analysis of drinking water by collecting samples from 05 different sources like underground sumps/ user end taps/ bore wells/ open wells etc located in 12 km peripherry, collection of samples in sterilized laboratory bottles/ canes, transportation to authorised Govt laboratory to deposit the samples in stipulated time, including payment of fees, collection and submit of reports to the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed. Notes: - (a) Cost of transportations for collection of sterilized bottles from laboratory, deposition of collected samples in stipulated time, report collection after completion of tests, payment of fees to the laboratory for each sample, etc are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) The rate quoted is considered to be for each sample. (c) Sample from different sources to be taken as per time schedule directed by Engineer-in-Charge throughout the currency of the contract. (d) Payment will be made after submission of report from authorised Govt laboratroy only.
