Material and labour for cleaning of underground water storage tank/sump after scrapping out the scales/deposits from all inner surfaces of sump thoroughly washing with bleaching powder solution (mixed @ 0.5 Kg of bleaching powder of chlorine content 30% per 1000 liters of water), bailing out the settled materials completely away from the site within 100 metres distance, cleaning the tank with clean water and finally sterilizing the tank as mentioned in notes below and resetting the existing level readings complete including taking down and re-fixing of foot valve after necessary cleaning, repairs etc., and replacing minor parts if any required for proper functioning of foot valve, testing and writing “TANK CLEANED ON…..”(date), “DUE DATE ON…..(date) with 10 cm size white letters on black back ground by engaging skilled artist using best quality synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge for the following sizes:-

(a) Mechanized removal of all dirty water by using high capacity submersible pumps. (b) Removal of sludge by using vaccum operated pump (c) Cleaning of walls, ceiling and ground by high pressure rotary jet of 12 Kg/sqcm pressure. (d) Removal of all dirt particles by industrial wet vaccum cleaner leaving the tank physically cleaned as per Engr-in- Charge satisfaction. (e) Sterilization of tank by agents eco-friendly, bio-degradable and highly effective against all pathogens, or approved chemical. (f) Sterilization of tank atmosphere by industrial UV radiator leaving the tank complete sterilized (g) All the required Tools and plants, lubricants/oils and materials will be supplied by the contractor during the work. (h) Fresh air to be blown into the tank for a period before allowing a person to enter. The cleaner should wear protective clothing, including gloves, a boots, Safety Helmet and glasses. Contractor should make sure someone remains outside the tank, next to the access hatch all the time in case the cleaner has an accident. The availability of gas masks and portable ventilators would be made available by the contractor at site during cleaning operation.

Material and labour for cleaning existing shallow well of average dia 6.5 metre and average height 13 metre after emptying the well by taking out/ dewatering contaminated water and removing all sediment particles, leaves, algae, fungus, foreign matters etc., from well and scrubbed thoroughly using wire brush and finally washed with bleaching powder solution (mixed @ 0.5 Kg of bleaching powder of chlorine content 30% per 1000 liters of water), bailing out the settled materials completely away from the site within 100 metres distance complete including writing “WELL CLEANED ON…..” (date), “DUE DATE ON…..(date) with 10 cm size white letters on black back ground by engaging skilled artist using best quality synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of internal plastered/ concrete surfaces of overhead reservoir of capacity 2.00 lakh gallons and applying two coats nontoxic, non-corrosive water proof coating inside the tank complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Sikagard-67, Dr Fixit Pidifine 2K, Clean Tech PW or equivalent as certified by CFTRI, Mysore for potable water Note: - a) Surface preparation and application procedure shall be as per manufacturer’s guidelines and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. b) The paint used should not contain any harmful chemical content to pollute drinking water. A manufacturer certificate for the same is mandatory and contractor must produce the certificate as mentioned above before application to Engineer-in-Charge

Labour only for taking out carefully complete filter media from the existing pressure filter and stacking in segregation size/ item wise (viz. gravell/grit/sand) outside the plant house, distance exc 20 m and n.exc 50 m including all allied T&P complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for unused and fresh quartz white sand for filter media conforming to the following specifications complete all as specified and directed. Bulk Density:1600Kg/Cum Uc less than 1.5 % Acid solubility less than 5% Silica contents-90% Size 0.4-1.2mm

The quality and testing requirement of filter media supplied by contractor for use in pressure filter shall conform to IS: 8419 (Part -I) – 1977 (Reaffirmed 2001). 2.) The quality testing certificate of filter media is to be produced by the contractor before taking payment. 3.) The filter media shall be tested from any authorised laboratory after getting written approved by GE. expenditure against testing will be deemed to be included in qouted rate.

Material and labour for refilling chlorine gas from government authorised agency in department cylinders of 100 kgs capacity including transportation from and to the filling agency and replacing weared and teared parts etc., if any noticed before refilling complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor has to obtain necessary certificates for cylinder and chlorine gas from respective departments of Government Of India all deemed included in quoted rate.

Supply only trichloroisocyanuric acid TCCA 90 granules having chlorine content => 90% in air tight containers all as directed. Make:- Grasim Industries (or) any other equivalent ISI marked make shall be used after getting approval from GE Note:- Supply only items shall be taken over on charge through necessary Receipt Voucher duly signed by all concerns

Supplying and fixing customised valve rings made of specialised rubber as per sample shown by Engr-in-Charge suitable for 80mm size valve including necessary alterations if any required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing of 2 mm thick net type galvanised iron strainer after taking down old unserviceable/rusted strainer from site including provision of nut bolts etc., required for fixing complete all as specified and directed for the following strainer size:-

Material and labour for preparation of old painted steel or iron surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for draining out water complete, cleaning and removing accumulated sludge/dirt, scales from tank bottom/walls/ceilings/top of slab and from mouths of circulating pipes of RCC/PVC service tanks located on roof of building and disinfecting the tank as per clause 18.114.6 of SSR part 1 by using bleaching powder to make the tank bacteria free and disposing off the rubbish/dirty water safely in low lying areas of defence land, writing “TANK CLEANED ON…..”(date), “DUE DATE ON…..(date) with 5 cm height x 5cm breadth size white letters on black back ground by engaging skilled artist using best quality synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge for the following capacity of tanks:-

Taking down of old unserviceabe steel overhead tanks of capacity 400 glns and submitting the same at AGE E/M yard by dismantling all the supporting structure and throwing out the debris within 50 m from the starting point all as directed

Material and labour for testing potable water sample from the nearest district Laboratory, P.H.E. Madhya Pradesh including transportation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The rate quoted by contractor includes the following: 1. Collecting water samples in sterlised containers from the location as directed by Eng-in-Charge 2. Transporting the collected sample immediately to the lab and submitting the test report to the Eng-in-Charge.

Supplying and replacing rubber mat of size 1m x 2m x 19mm thickness after taking down old mat embedded in floor carefully and making good the disturbed portion in cement concrete 1:2:4 (type B-0) or CM 1:3 as required at site complete all as specified and directed. S & F in repair Aviation obstruction light on 60ft staging overhead water tank with all mounting arrangements, cementing etc having LED 2 X 100W capacity in yellow painted die cast alluminium alloy housing red colour polycarbonate dome and accessories. Make : Bajaj, Havells, Crompton

Taking down old unserviceable copper sub main wiring of size 2.5 sq.mm including earth continuity wire complete all as directed.

M&L Sub main wiring with 2 runs of 2.5 Sq.mm single core PVC insulated FR cable 1100 volts grade, multistranded copper conductor cable with one run of 1.5 sq.mm single core PVC insulated FR cable 1100 volts grade, multistranded copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor drawn in surface/recessed in steel conduit complete all as specified and as directed. S&F in repair Air termination single pointed aluminium rod not less than 12mm dia and 300mm long including fixing arrangements all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs Post insulator epoxy LV type suitable for aluminium/ GI strip 25 x 4 mm lightening conductor fixed on wall/roof/pole including screw, and taking out existing insulators complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix in repairs galvanised iron strip earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of size 25mm x 4mm fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or sleeves to make earth busbar on porcelain insulator or any other indicated situation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Lifting of submersible pump set of any make/ capacity from any depth but not more than 250 feet depth including disconnecting and taking down colomn pipe from coupling one by one along with submerssible cable and keeping in safe custody for lowering after developement of bore well complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) No T& P will be issued by departement for lifting/ lowering of pump set. (iii) Cost of T&P and any other materials and transport for taking the pump set for work shop and back (if required) will be bear by the contractor and the cost of same is deemed to be included in item rate.

M&L for Cleaning and redevelopment of existing borewells and with 250 psi and 750 cfm capcity air compressor (to get maximum yeild ) continously until clear water obtained all as specified and directed by EIC. Note : Cleaning depth will be measured after the cleaning machine has gone to the lowest depth already achieved in the existing borewell

M&L for Conducting yeild test of tubewell by operating the pumping set continuously for a period of 16 hours and measuring the discharge and drawdown of tubewell with 30 mins of time interval as per the direction of Engr-in-charge. Note:- (i) Pump set and T&P for yeild test will be provided by the contactor (ii) Operating cost for T&P and pump set will not be paid seperately as the same is included in the item rate. (iii) Detailed report with necessary data to be submitted by the contractor for each bore well test to Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for reboring of borewells carefully using 125 mm to 150 mm dia bits without collapsing existing borewell till the required depth as suggested by Engr-in-Charge and taking out all the sludge or loose particles from the borewell to ensuring clear flow of water while pumping complete all as specified and directed. Note :-For the purpose of making payment rebore depth will be measured by taking difference between existing depth and newly achieved depth.

Supplying and fixing 3mm thick, plain acrylic transparent sheet on wall including necessary fixing accessories like stainless steel fasteners, bolts etc., with all alteration at site incuding cutting, reaming etc. complete all as directed.

M&L for dismantling steel door frame fixed in RCC dam including making good the disturbed surface in cement concrete 1:1.5:3 using 12.5 mm aggregate or CM 1:2 as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of 2.75mX1.72m size blocking plate of sluice gate on other side of check dam and refixing the same after completion of work all as specified and directed by Engnr-In-Charge.

Suppy and fix Framed work Fe-410-W(Gde-E-250)quality-B as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Supply and fix in repairs water pressure guage on line having specification as thread type, accuracy 2%, bottom connection 1/4", made from brass, dial size 0-280 kg/sqcm. The job involves all alteration at site complete all as specified and directed. Make: H guru, Smsn or any other ISI marked.

M&L for scraping, cleaning of wall, pillars of 50 feets staging overhead water tank at SITE-C pump house and other water supply installations by crapping all dirt's dust ,rust from roofs, wall, pillars of overhead tank etc and than apply with two coats of mosquito repelling paint even anbd smooth of white colour with blue colour bands or all complete as directed by engineer-in-charge. Make of Paint : CORION - REPEL PAINTS Note : Contractor has ensure the safety of the working personnel and the quoted rate inclusive the rate of tools and equipments needed for the job.

Removal of bio-degradable bee-hives wild growths from the structure tank and member of the overhead reservoir complete including wild bees with suitable application of fuming smoke or chemical fog application and applying a cost of alergent for keeping away or return of bee-hives (All the bee-hives on the tank shall be removed and cleaned) Note : The removal of bee-hives shall be carried out with total precautions so that wild bees do not get the time and opportunity to attack the public in the locality.
