Surface excavation n exc 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling of soft/loose soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layersnot exc 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to distance n.exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified .

Removing excavated soil to distance exc. 1.5 Km but n exc.5 Km and depositing where directed complete all as specified .

M&L for cement concrete type D2 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) in foundations,filling and mass concrete complete all as directed.

M&L for precast cement concrete block (Type C1, 1:3:6 20 mm graded aggregate) masonry with solid block,exc 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as directed.

Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces and finishing the surfaces even & fair without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M &L providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in lintel upto 1.5 m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, stringcourses lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones bed plates,kerbs incl weathering slightly rounded or chemfered angles and throating complete all as specified as directed.

M & L cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in surface channels and drains complete all as specified as directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surface with power roller exc 8 tonne to 12 tonne

Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (Compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade V as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natura sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-1 00 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013.

Laying and compacting 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in two layers grading as pe table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with wate to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-1 OOKN static weight and consolidating to required gradien and camber complete all as specified and directed The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 .

M&L for Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified and directed

Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concerte, 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG-30 Paving bitumen) by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant, rolled with tandem vibratory roller and compacted to required camber and gradient by using mechanical paver complete to a uniform surface by rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power roller all as specified and directed .

Preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick center lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint (including reflectorizing glass beads@250 gms per sqm as per IRC-35-1997)of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instructions complete all as directed. Unit rate quoted by the contractor include for provision of red signals to keep off trafic from work, cleaning road surface and working during odd hours when traffic is light. 2. The line marking shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing any signs of scratch marks or surfaces underneath, if necessary the surface shall be remarked after removal of existing treatment untill the desired result is obtained.
