Supply and Lowering at site electric resistance welded (ERW) Stainless Steel slotted pipe of size 300 mm, 8 mm thick with slot opening 1.0 mm, as per IS 8110-1978 with upto date amendments(if any) and material. complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Lowering at site electric resistance welded(ERW) Stainless Steel Cage type "V" wire wound screens of size 300mm 8 mm thick with slot opening 1.0mm as per 8110-2000 with upto date amendments(if any) and material specifications as per AISI "American Iron and Steel Inst" Type Grade SS-304 in suitable lengths as per the site conditions, including the cost of SS socket 8mm thick(supplied by the Department) of length 140mm confirming to AISI grade 304 suitable to accomodate screen end ring including jointing screen with blind pipes including cost of all scaffolding derricks, poles, clamps embedded in foundation etc.including cost of all cutting threading and welding of pipes etc.within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per the directions of the engineer-in-charge. Screen will be of continuous trapezoidal wire spirally wound around fabricated cage. The wrapping wire having a "V" shaped(Wedge) profile wire with flat surface on the outside and producing expanding slots on the inside of various dimensions, resistance welded to a cylindrical body made of number of longitudinal special high tensile support rods to provide smooth unrestricted bore which are in turn welded into cylindrical ring couplings on both sides of screens.

The material of MS taper/reducer shall be equivalent to parent pipe material and shall confirm to chemical composition as per clause 6.1 and table 1 of IS 4270:2001 with upto date ammendments (if any) omplete in all respects as per the directions of the engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing in position threaded iron cap with locking arrangments of approved design to prevent foreign matter from getting into bore hole as required within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supplying and packing of gravel consisting of hard quartz or other suitable material with an average specific gravity of not less than 2.5 not containing more than 2% by weight of thin flat or or elangated pieces, shall be of sub rounded to rounded grains with minimum angular features of size 2--3.35 mm, shall be free from impurities such as shafe, shale, mica, felspar, clay, sand, hamatite and organic materials as per IS-4097-1967 with upto date amendments(if any), around intake of tubewell with minimum thickness of shroud around screen generally 100mm to the entire depth of the bore as per IS 2800(Part-I) 1991 with upto date amendments(if any) within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Development of tubewell by back washing method, with air compressor of minimum 750 CFM capacity, pumping pipe of 200mm size and air line of minimum 65mm size or with other suitable method, till the well is thoroughly developed as per clause 4.2 of IS 11189:1985 with upto date amendments(if any) complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Development of tubewell by continuous over pumping method with VT pumps/submersible pumps of suitable capacity not less than double the discharge established by the Compressor method/design discharge, untill the well is sand free as per IS-11189-1985 with upto date amendments(if any) complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The draw down and discharge to be established by running the VT/submersible pump continuously for 8 hours in the presence of Officer not less than the rank of Assistant Engineer.
Testing the verticality of the tubewell as per clause 4.3 of OS 2800(Part-II):1979 with upto date amendments(if any), using plumb bob or plunger 6mm smaller in dia within the inside diameter of the well casing. The results of the verticality test shall be recorded on proforma shown in Appendix A of IS:2800(Part-II_:1979 with upto date amendments(if any) as appended with the tender documents and handed over complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer- in-Charge.
Dismantling of Rig or other allied accessories after completion of job within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Handing over of the tubewelll in complete shape as per appendix B of the clause 7 of IS 2800 (Part-II):1979 with upto date amendments(if any)l, as appended with the tender document, in laminated form, in triplicate complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

CONSTRUCTION OF STORAGE TANKS:-Constructing RCC Circular under ground/partial under ground storage reservoirs as per capacity given below at various stages/sites including excavation in all kinds and types of strata, soil strata including dewatering in M30 design mix in foundation, walls, bottom slab of roof slab, roof slab/dome with smooth finishing in 1:3 inside the tank, refilling and disposing of surplus stuff with in all leads and lifts, labour and material charges. The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipe with bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MSERW pipes special and valves / acuated valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as MS ladders inside and outside CI cowl type ventilator, SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level, indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves shall be included in the rates of tanks. The cost of the actuators and chamber for valves shall be measured and paid for separately.The work shall include supplying of 5 sets of structural design and drawings.

CONSTRUCTION OF BOUNDARY WALL AROUND PUMP HOUSE
Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in earth work in all kind of soil such as pick work,jumper work, blasting work in hard & soft rock and chiesaling work including slushy soil & under flooring water up to all excavated soil up to any lead & lifts from the edge of excavation and then depth and stacking the returning the stacked soil in 15 CM ( fifteen centimetres) layer's when required in to plinth sides of foundation etc. Consolidation each diposited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed with in all lead of 20 meters in Chiselling /wedging out of rock complete in all respect.
Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12(Icement:6sand:12 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)and curing complete excluding the cost of form work in foundation and plinth including carriage of material in all leads & lifts.
Ist class brick work using common burnt clay building bricks in foundation and Plinth in cement mortor 1:6 ( 1 cement:6 sand ) in all leads and lifts as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
15 mm cement plaster in single coat on rough side of brick masonry for interior plastering upto floor two level including arrises, internal rounded angle, chamfers and or rounded angles not exceeding 80 mm in girth and finished even and smooth with cement mortor 1:5 ( 1 cement : 5 sand ) in all leads and lifts as per the direction of the Enginner-in-Charge.
Finishing wall with weather proof exterior grade emulsion of approved design (Apexultima) or its equarlied on undecorated wall surfaces (two coats) to give an even shade and final finish after throughly cleaning the surface to remove all dirt, dust and other foreign matter etc including sand paper smooth complete
Providing and fixing MS gate of angle iron and flat 6mm thick with frame i/c locking arrangement etc. complete in respect including entire carriage of material and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
SCHEDULE B2 PUMPING MACHINERY (SUBMERSIBLE )
Supply,errection,testing &commissioning of star rated enrgy efficient Submersible pumping set of KSB/Calama/ WPIL/ Crompton/BS/ SABAR / Oswal/ Kirloskar or any other approved make conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:1976. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge NRV & Sluice valves of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge. The HP are indicative, the design /drawings of Pumping Machinery is to be got approved by L-1 Contractor from the competent authority before placing supply order for the same after finalisation of tender.The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. The pumping machinery & its accessories/ valves /piping work etc. should meet with the following requirements. (i) Sluice Valves/Reflux Valves to be provided on delivey line:- These shall be double flanged valves of approved make & size of valves shall be one size higher than delivery size of offered pump.The class of valves shall be cast stell ASA-600 & for 2nd stage these shall be of cast iron PN-1.6 or cast steel ASA-600 (iii) Piping work (Column Pipe & Delivery pipesto connect Column pipe with Rising main):- The column shall be capable to with stand total dynamic preesurte + surge pressuire Or 1.5 times the total dynamic pressure whichever is more & it shall have minimum wall thickness of 4.80 mm jointed with flanged joints at every three meters. It shall also include the cost of providing, laying, jointing of column pipe with rising main, testing & commissiuoning including all types of bends & other accessories etc. (iii) Power shunt Capactor:- Capacotors shall be of suitable KVAR so as to improve power factor to 0.95 or above. (iv) Pannel Board:- It shall be of suitable size & capable to accomodate all above electrical accessories i/c providing & fixing in position these accessories & interconnections with cable of appropriate size & specifications. (v) Startes:- Starters shall be of approved make & of suitable rating suitable of safe running and operation of given motor or pumping machinery It shall be mounted on panel board with magnetic type over load release & dashpot, time lag,under voltage release with initial oil filling if required.

Booster stage (T/Well to Sump well) :- 2 sets (1 working & 1 standbye) for duty condition discharge of = 1.14 LPS with Total Head of = 59.09 mtr. The BHP is to be offered by the bidder & rate shall be filled in by the contractor per set. (.Refer to Data Sheet No. - 6 )

CENTRIFUGAL PUMING MACHINERY (CLEAR WATER TANK)
PUMPING MACHINERY CENTRIFUGAL:- Supply ,Installation ,Testing & Commissioning of star rated energy efficient horizontal spindle, horizontal/ radial split casing/end suctions (back pull out arrangement)single/ double/ multistage centrifugal pump suitable for operation, in parallel of recommended make such as Mather and platt/ KSB/Kirloskar/Jyoti /Beaconweir BS&BE or any other approved make confirming to BIS-1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting clear water for under mentioned characteristics with bronze/Bronze with 2.5% Nickel impellers, dia of 405mm priming funnels, casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze/ steel, shaft of SS:410/AIS 1431 Chrom in plated with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a Common MS base plate to squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor/TEFC/CACA of standard make such as Kirloskar/BHEL/ Crompton/NGEF/GEC/ Siemens / Jyoti/Area Brown Boven (ABB)/CGL and suitable for operation on 11 KV HT, 50 cycles/second 3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump / pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. The motor/ motors should be as per IS: 325-1978 with upto date amendments read with IS:900-1972. The starting current of the motor shall be limited to not more than 4.5 to 5 times of full load current.
It should include cost of bearing nuts, bolts and painting etc and should meet the following requirement including Pump sets (working + standby), All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV including erection and testing complete necessary piping for suction and common header and control valves alongwith electrical works including all taxes, insurance, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications and instruction of Engineer in charge. The HP are indicative, the design/drawings of Pumping Machinery is to be got approved by L-1 Contractor from the competent authority before placing supply order for the same after finalisation of tender. The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. The pumping machinery & its accessories/valves/piping work etc. should meet with the following requirements. (i) Sluice Valves/Reflux Valves to be provided on delivey line:- These shall double flanged valves be of approved make & size of valves shall be same as dia of column pipe or one size higher than delivery size of offered pump.The class of valves for stage -1st shall be, cast iron PN-1.6 or cast steel ASA-600 & for 2nd stage these shall be of cast iron PN-1.6 or cast steel ASA-600. (ii) Reflux Valves to be provided in Rising Main:- It shall be double flanged valve of approved make & size of valve shall be same as dia of rising main pipe. The class of valve shall be Cast steel ASA-600 for stage 1st & 2nd respectivey (iii) Piping work (Common Header, Delivery pipes & Suction pipes):- The piping work shall be of same specifications as the R-main in intial RD's. The size of common header shall be same as dia of R-Main. in No case pipe wall thickness shall be less than 4.80 mm. The common header & delivery pipes shall be properly jointed with flanges of appropriate Flange table with butt welds. (iv) Power shunt Capactor:- Capacotors shall be of suitable KVAR so as to improve power factor to 0.95 or above. (v) Pannel Board:- It shall be of suitable size & capable to accomodate all above electrical accessories i/c providing & fixing in position these accessories & interconnections with cable of appropriate size & specifications. SCHEDULE B 3 - RISING MAINS
Excavation in drain and channels etc. earth work for pipes upto all depths in all classification of earthwork such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing or pumping out water, blasting soft/hard rock or chiseling soft/hard rock where blasting is probihited in all lifts including jungle clearence wherever required, trimming & dressing of sides, levelling of beds to correct grade including shoring/struting, planking , timbering & dewatering wherever required stacking the useable/unuseable material/soil seperately & after laying, jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15cm layers including consolidating of such deposited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/ unuseable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration of un-metalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, right signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for acess to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respect with in all leads and lifts and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge at site of work.
Providing , laying, fixing, jointing and testing in trenches GMSERW pipe of following dia meters confirming to ISO 3183-2007 (with up to date ammendments), of following grade and having wall thickness as specified below with bevelled ended and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube, including the cost of jointing by way of circumfrenctial butt welding conforming to IS 816-1969 or latest as applicable with up to date ammenments. The MS flanges shall be provided every 15th joint flanged confirming to IS 6392-1971 and remaining butt weld joints. (The cost of flange to be measurede and paid for seperately) The laying of pipe will include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per relevant IS standards. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. (Earth work in trenches be measured and paid for separately).

Laying,jointing testing & commissioning at site in trenches following plain ended GMS pipes of following dia of Medium and Heavy grade for Rising main as under confirming to BIS 1239-(Part-I)-1990 or latest with upto date ammendments, capable of withstanding required test pressure as prescribed in BIS code in randum lengths of 5.5 to 6.5 mtrs.The pipes ends shall be bevelled suitable for butt welded including the cost of jointing with butt welding confirming to IS- 816-1969 or latest as applicable ( leak proof) in three layers at site of work with welding rods of standard make and all allied acessories whatever required for welding at site, tail pieces, tees & bends manufactured from parent pipes etc and cuttings of pipes wherever required etc. as per site requirement i/c carriage in all leads & lifts and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .( Earth work shall be measured and paid for seperatly)(After every 90 mtr length their shall be 1 No flanged joint)

Providing welding and fixing of MS flange at suitable reaches conforming to IS: 6392-1971 (latest with upto date ammendments) of following dia and table the welding of flange with pipe should conform to IS: 816-1969 with electerode as as per IS 814-1991 including required Nos of bolts and nuts as per IS:1369-1967 and 3mm thick asbestos fibre jointing gasket conforming to IS: 2712-1965 . The welding of flange should be done in two layers on both faces to make to the joints air tight and leak proof(The cost of providing and laying of GMSREW pipe to be measured and paid for seprately) and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge

SCHEDULE B4 GRAVITY MAINS and DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
Excavation in foundation, trenches ( for pipes & pits) upto all depths in all classification of earth work such as pick work, jumper work, saturated soil including bailing and pumping out water, blasting soft/ hard rock or chieselling soft/hard rock where blasting is prohibited in all lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade i/c shoring /strutting , planking, timbering & dewatering wherever required, stacking the useable & unuseable material /soil separately & after laying jointing & testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in trenches in 15 cm layers including consolidating of such deposoited layer by ramming & watering & then disposing of all surplus excavated soil /unusable material as directed with in all leads & lifts including restoration unmetalled surfaces to its original condition & including cost of diversion for traffic, night signals, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects with in all leads & lifts as per directions of engineer-in-charge.
Laying, jointing and testing in trenches to be levelled to grades, GI flanged pipes of following diameter confirming to IS:1239-1990( Part-II) having minimum wall thickness as per IS code and class of pipes specified below providing and jointed with MS flanges every 5th joint conforming to BIS 6392-1971 welded at both ends according to relevant BIS standards and detailed specifications and remainig joint will be butt welded provided with nut & bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber jointing gasket / synthetic rubber gasket confirming to relevant BIS codes including all kinds of flanged short pieces, bends, tees & other specials etc made from parent tubes & welded with flanges of tables as applicable for the particular reach as per site conditions including flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.
