PIPELINE LAYING/ INSTALLTION
PIPELINE LAYING/ INSTALLTION :Laying/ installation of coated line pipe, associated fittings and accessories, etc. as per specifications, drawings, other provisions of Contract and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge, including but not limited to carrying out the following: "Receiving and taking-over", handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Owner supplied externally corrosion coated and bare line pipes from designated place(s) of issue/ dump site(s) to Contractor's own stock-yard(s)/ workshop(s)/ work-site(s) including stringing on the pipeline Right-of-Use (ROU)/ Right of way (ROW); "Receiving and taking over", handling, including loading and unloading, transportation of Owner supplied materials other than line pipe from Owner's designated place(s) of issue to worksite(s); Arrangement of all additional land required for Contractor's storage, fabrication, access for construction (other than Owner provided ROU/ROW); supply of all materials (except Owner supplied materials), consumables, equipment, labour, etc; Staking and installation of construction markers, clearing, grubbing, grading (as required) of Right of Use/ Right of Way; Counting the number and type of trees cut in presence of DFO/concerned authorities (If permitted) and keeping record thereof; Trenching to all depths and to a width to accommodate the pipeline and/or optical fibre cable/cable conduit as specified in scope document and as per the relevant standards, specifications, etc. by excavation in all types of soils (including soft/hard rock), including blasting, chiseling or otherwise cutting etc.; providing trench padding as required with sand/ graded earth approved by Engineer-in Charge; Carrying out repairs of pipe and coating defects not attributable to Owner (i.e. defects occurring after “taking over" of pipes from Owner); Thorough internal cleaning of all pipes by suitable methods to remove debris, shots, grits etc. to the satisfaction of Engineer-in- Charge; Stringing of line pipes along ROU/ROW including providing straw bags, soft padding/sand padding; Aligning, bending, cutting and bevelling (as required) of pipes for welding, installation of Induction bend along the route, and field adjustments, NDT of rebevelled area, welding, carrying out destructive/ non-destructive testing of welds as required including radiography and providing all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, films, consumables, all facilities and personnel to process, develop, examine and interpret radiographs and other tests, as required; carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective by Engineer-In-Charge, carrying out re-radiography and other non-destructive tests as required on repaired joints, etc.; Installation of carrier pipe including concrete coated pipes (wherever required) at all crossings including roads/ canals/ nala/ water crossings etc. (except at major water and other crossings that are specifically covered separately in this document) by open cut or Jacking/ boring method including pre-testing as required; Carrying out installation of carrier pipe in the casing pipe at cased crossings excluding supply and installation of casing pipes covered separately); Coating of all field weld joints, long radius bends, buried fittings, valves etc.; Lowering the pipelines in trench including providing sand bag ( separators for parallel pipelines at the specified spacing (when applicable), providing required padding over and around the pipeline with sand/graded material approved by Engineer-In-Charge (in rocky areas), backfilling with available, approved excavated material and/or other suitable soil approved by Engineer-In-Charge; Supply and installation of slope breaker as per specifications and drawings in steep slope areas, wherever required; Carrying out hydrostatic testing including air cleaning, flushing , filling, drying, gauging, pressurization of complete pipeline in various test sections as approved by Engineer- In-Charge to the specified test pressure, providing all equipment, pumps, fittings, instruments, dead weight tester, all types of pigs etc., and services, supervision, labour, consumables, water including supply of corrosion inhibitor, air, etc. as required, locating of leaks and rectification of defects attributable to Contractor, retesting after rectification, successful completion of hydrotesting of pipeline (De-watering covered elsewhere in the SOR); All tie-ins, including the tie-in(s) with the pipeline / piping installed by others including cutting of test header , re-beveling as required; Carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works and all incidental works required to make the pipeline ready for pre-commissioning; Repair of defects recorded during EGP/ gauge plate run or otherwise including cutting, beveling, welding, radiography, field joint coating etc; as applicable, Final clean-up and restoration of right of way/right of use including obtaining NOC from respective statutory authorities as required and disposal of debris and returning all surplus material to designated disposal areas/storage yard, as directed by Engineer-In-Charge; Restoration of land, facilities and boundary wall etc. at associated facilities dismantled/damaged by the Contractor during construction; Obtaining work permits/NOC from various statutory authorities having jurisdiction, before execution of the work, and complying with all stipulation/conditions/recommendation of the said authorities; Preparation of as-built drawings, pipe-book and other records. SOR shall be read in conjunction with scope of work, job specific requirements, specifications, standards, drawings and other provision of contract document. All above works for buried pipeline as per following details- Note: 1. This item shall include any additional topographical & geotechnical investigations for local detours or at any other place as per scope of work. 2. Contractor shall propose corrosion inhibitor for hydrotest & approved by Engineer-In-Charge.

GEO TEXTILE BAGS FOR ANTI-BUOYANCY Unit rate for additional works over and above SOR item no. 2.1 for design, manufacture and supply of Non - biodegradable geo-textile bags ( made of polypropylene fabric) materials and installation of geo-textile bags duly filled with gravel/stone ballast on pipelines of all wall thicknesses for anti buoyancy as per Standard specification (VPC-SS-PL-0031) /Report/, drawings, and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and other provisions of the Contract document. Note: 1. This item shall be applicable for small crossings, i.e. drains, nalla etc and as per instructions of Engineer In-Charge. 2. Bag shall be procured from approved vendor only. 3. Spacing of bags shall be 8 mtrs for 8" pipeline,density of ballast gravel (2402 Kg/cubic meter) & wieght (145 Kg) as defined in Scope of work. For one location total Nos. of bags shall be considered as 1 No. 3. Spacing of saddle weight shall be 8 mtrs for 8" pipeline, wieght (143 Kg) as defined in Scope of work. 4. Spacing of saddle weight shall be 12 mtrs for 6" pipeline, wieght (50 Kg) as defined in Scope of work.

PIPELINE INSTALLATION AT MINOR RIVER/ CANALS/ NH/ RLY'S BY TRENCHLESS / HDD TECHNIQUE Receiving and taking over & installing of owner supplied free issue 3 layer PE coated linepipes of size 8" & 6" , W.T. 6.4 mm and API 5L Gr. B grade from owner's designated point of issue. For complete works for the major canal/NH/RLY by horizontal drilling method (HDD) including all additional drilled lengths necessitated by Contractor's design of water crossings, including construction design calculation engineering of crossings & carrying out all topographical, hydrological and geo-technical surveys required for design and construction of crossing, preparation of all necessary design & construction drawings and procedures for Owner's approval, mobilisation and de-mobilisation at site(s), supply & installation of all materials as per "Contractor's scope of supply" including supply & installation of 6" size, 6.4mm API 5L Gr. B/IS:1239 CS conduit pipe for OFC in required lengths, all consumables, equipment, manpower and other resources and acquiring the required land for site preparations, and execution of, but not limited to, the following works in accordance with specifications, drawings, and as per provisions of the Contract document and instructions of the Owner/Engineer-in-Charge. Preparation of detailed construction method statement & calculation , strings preparation including welding, NDT of welds and re-bevelled areas, radiography, weld repaird & test , pre-testing of completed string, corrosion coating of field joints with dirax or equivalent, inspection of corrosion coating and repair of defects, Preconstruction surveys & collecting all necessary data , Installation of pipeline and CS conduit/ by horizontal directional drilling to the correct profile as per approved drawings and specification, Strapping of CS conduit with main pipeline (If applicable), Post-installation hydrotest including leaks and repair of defects and retesting, etc. for defects attributed to Contractor's faulty work, Supply, fabrication and construction of protective fencing as required, Supply, fabrication and erection of pipeline markers, Restoration and clean-up etc., Preparation of as-built drawings and other records etc., All other works not specifically listed herein, but required as per specifications, drawings, provision of contract document, calculations, and construction method statements, leading to successful completion of works. Note : 1. Rates quoted shall be applicable for multiple crossings at different locations (maximum five nos). 2. Contractor shall be paid based on distance between tie-in points at two ends of crossing and not between points of entry & exit. 3. The work involved Supply and Installation of 1 nos of 6" CS pipe for OFC (IS 1239/ API 5L GR B) along with carrier pipe in each HDD crossing 4. If required, contractor shall arrange additional land for machine & String preparation.Cost is deemed to include in this item.
Minor River/ Nala/Canal Crossing/ NH/ RLY's as shown in alignment sheets and as per instruction of EIC.
CASED CROSSING (BY JACKING / BORING / OPEN CUT) Supply , installation & transportation of casing pipe for mainline and CS conduit for OFC from Contractor's storage point to worksite. Installation of casing pipe by jacking/ boring or open cut for rail, road or canal crossings wherever required in all types of soils and terrain and installation of all other materials viz. casing insulators and casing end seals as per enclosed drawing, materials for casing vents and drains, etc. including transporation , supply of all other materials, equipments, consumables, manpower, welding including visual inspection of all weld joints, installation of casing insulators, end seals, vents and drain-off pipes, backfilling and restoration as original of the facility crossed and performing all works as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and provisions of Contract document.

SCANNING OF UTILITIES IN PIPELINE ROUTE Locate Under ground services / utilities within the pipeline route.This shall include identification of under ground utilities by scanning with electromagnetic underground services locator / ground penetrating radar followed by hand excavation to expose the utilities with permission from concerened authorities. Laying agency shall prepare a methodology for Scanning and identify the probable areas and obtain prior permission from Engineer-in charge / Client before start of work. Such ground area where utilities are identified by scanning, shall be marked with Red paint. Note: 1.This item shall be applied only when explicitly permitted by Company.
BARRICADING (FOR USE IN HIGH MOVEMENT AREA) Providing & erecting in position a barricading Structure of 1.5 M height & temporary foundation. Using 0.8 mm thick corrugated galvanized steel sheets supported on frame of Structural Steel conforming to IS:2062, coated with Red oxide zinc chromate shop primer, including submission of design & drawing to be reviewed by owner, before execution of work at Pipeline route, particularly in residential area and high movement area and as advised by Enginner inchagre, removal of barricading structure after completion of work, including demolition & dismantling its foundation, dressing & trimming of the area. All complete as per Specification & direction of Engineer in charge (All materials to be in contractors scope) Note: 1.These rates shall be applied only when explicitly permitted by Company. 2. Rates includes moving and reinstallation of the baricades from one work site to another, multiple times.
SOIL STABILIZATION
SLOPE STABILIZATION Additional works over and above SOR item no. 2.1 for supply and installation for protection and stablisation of soil in steep slope areas including supply of all materials, equipment, consumables, manpower and performing works as per drawings, specification, instruction of Engineer in Charge and provisions of contract. (1:4 Cement & sand in Gunny bags as per drawing) Note: Contractor shall stablise the slopes location as marked in alignment sheet and as per Instruction of Engineer-in Charge at site for additional location
REPAIR OF DEFECTS (ATTRIBUTABLE TO OWNER): Repair of defects in pipes/ line pipes of all thicknesses and external coating noted at the time of taking delivery by Contractor, including performing all works as per specifications and directions of Engineer-In-Charge, supply of all repair material and inspection.

REPAIR OF HOLIDAY IN COATING : Supply of all coating repair materials as per the requirements of the relevant specifications, supply of all consumables, utilities, equipment, and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation, repairing of coating defects (resulting in holiday in coating) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes, performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. Repair of Holiday in Coating (Type of Coating - 3 Layer Polyethylene) This rate shall be applicable per sq. cm of the exposed steel.
REPAIR OF COSMETIC DEFECTS IN COATING : Supply of all coating repair materials as per the requirements of the relevant specifications, supply of all consumables, utilities, equipment, and all manpower required, pipe cleaning and surface preparation, repairing of coating defects (resulting in holiday in coating) and testing including all handling, transportation, etc. for line pipes, performing all works necessary for the completion of the works strictly in accordance with the relevant specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. This rate shall be applicable per sq. cm of repair patch. Repair of Cosmetic defect in Coating (Type of coating: - 3 Layer Polyethylene )
LEAKS/ BURSTS-PIPELINE (ATTRIBUTABLE TO OWNER). MAJOR LEAK (DETECTED BY VISUAL METHOD): All works for locating major leak/burst (occurred during hydrostatic testing) including necessary repairing/replacing defective pipe length, including cutting and removing out defective pipes, pretesting of replacement pipe and welding into mainline, NDT of welds and re-bevelled area, repair and re-testing of defective welds, coating of welded joints, clean-up, retesting the pipeline including providing all necessary equipments, labour, materials, consumables and inputs other than Owner supplied materials and performing all works as per drawings, specifications enclosed with the Contract and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Major Leak (detected by visual method) ( Pipeline size - 219.1 mm (8 INCH) / 168.3 mm (6 INCH) Note : This rate is applicable for manufacturing defects in Company supplied material only
LEAKS/ BURSTS-PIPELINE (ATTRIBUTABLE TO OWNER). MINOR LEAK (DETECTED BY SECTIONALISING): All works for locating leak by sectionalising or any other methods which cannot be located by visual means, including necessary repairing/replacing defective pipe length, including cutting and removing out defective pipes, pretesting of replacement pipe and welding into mainline, NDT of welds and re-bevelled area, repair and re-testing of defective welds, coating of welded joints, clean-up, retesting the pipeline including providing all necessary equipments, labour, materials, consumables and inputs other than Owner supplied materials and performing all works as per drawings, specifications enclosed with the Contract and directions of Engineer-in- Charge. Minor Leak (sectionalising) ( Pipeline size - 219.1 mm (8 INCH) / 168.3 mm (6 INCH) Note : This rate is applicable for manufacturing defects in Company supplied material only.
PRE-COMMISSIONING Pre-commissioning activities and precommissioning checks to be specified acceptance criteria, making the entire pipeline section ready for commissioning , providing assistance during the complete duration of commissioning operations,supply of all equipment,manpower,consumables (including pigs and required quantity of nitrogen for valve operations) materials for all temporary works and performing all associated works,complete as per relevant specifications,other provisions of contract document and instructions of Engineer-in Charge

ELECTRONIC GEOMETRIC PIGGING (EGP) OF ENTIRE PIPELINE OF SEGMENT III
Mobilisation/demobilisation of pigging tools, tackles, consumables, accessories and personnel by CONTRACTOR at WORK SITE including but not limited to MAGNETIC pig, electronic geometry pigs and pig tracking device, as per specification and other provision of the BID DOCUMENT including supply of material, equipment, manpower, etc. as required for geometry inspection and magnet cleaning of 8", ncluding rectification of defects found in EGP Including Golaghat-Duliyajan tapp-off section
Mobilisation/demobilisation of pigging tools, tackles, consumables, accessories and personnel by CONTRACTOR at WORK SITE including but not limited to MAGNETIC pig, electronic geometry pigs and pig tracking device, as per specification and other provision of the BID DOCUMENT including supply of material, equipment, manpower, etc. as required for geometry inspection and magnet cleaning of 6", ncluding rectification of defects found in EGP
PERMANENT MARKERS Supply, fabrication and installation of following types of permanent markers along the route including all associated civil works such as excavation in all types of soil, construction of pedestals and grouting with concrete, clearing, supply and application of approved colour and quality of primer and paint, stencil letter cutting for numbers, direction, chainage, etc., restoration of area to original condition and performing all works as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in- Charge. Note: The painting of all markers shall conform to coastal and marine environment of spec. SS-PI-008 irrespective of whatever shown on respective standards

Manufacturing, transporting, supplying and erecting in position Reinforced Cement Concrete PRECAST ELEMENTS such as columns, beams, cover slabs, lintels, louvers, fins, shelves etc. of M-25 grade with 20mm and down size graded crushed stone aggregates/gravel, for all leads, levels, shapes and thickness including all moulds, shuttering and centering, vibrating, tamping, curing, chamfering wherever required, finishing the top surface with cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 Cement : 3 Sand) to give a smooth and even surface, or non skid finish as specified, providing lifting hooks, metal inserts, making holes pockets, (only M.S. inserts to be measured & paid separately) transporting to site, erecting, levelling, aligning and fixing in position with cement mortar 1:3 (1Cement : 3 Coarse Sand), breaking bricks and/or concrete surfaces and making good the same etc. all complete (excluding the Cost of Reinforcement ) and as directed.

PIPING WORKS FOR SECTIONALISE VALVE (SV) STATION WITH VENTING FABRICATION, ERECTION, INSTALLATION AND TESTING OF PIPING: All works for installation of all pipeline/piping above ground at all elevations and below ground at all depths for 1 Nos of Sectionalising Valve Station (SV-1) Golaghat-Numaligarh in all type of soil and terrain. Receiving and taking over of all Owner supplied materials from Owner's designated place(s) of issue, transportation including loading, unloading, handling from Owner's designated place(s) of issue to Contractor's own stock yard(s)/ work site(s)/ work shop(s) including arranging all necessary intermediate storage area(s) thereof, as required; supply of all contractor supplied materials , equipment, consumables, manpower as defined in Contractor's scope of supply and their transportation to the work site(s); performing all above ground/buried piping fabrication works including cutting, edge preparation (inclusive of grinding the edges of pipes, fittings, flanges etc. to match with the matching edges of uneven/ different thickness wherever required), fit up, bending, pre-heating wherever required, welding,NDE of weld, weld repair, re-testing, threading etc.; erection of pipes of all types and thickness over sleepers, overhead on racks and at all elevations; hook-up with equipment nozzles; Fabrication of valve assembly and installation of all type of valves , installation all types of inline and online instruments such as, Pressure temp gauge, pressure/thermal safety valves ,Installation of fittings of all sizes i.e. flow tees, insulating joints, LR bends, pig signallers, elbows, reducers, tees, 'o' lets, flanges, blind flanges,spectacle blinds, tappings for pressure gauges, thermowells, hoses and hose couplings of all sizes, if applicable, sample connections, flame arrestors as applicable, vents and drains required for process and hydrotesting purposes etc. including fixing of all types of gaskets (including gaskets for RTJ flanges), bolts, studs and nuts of all sizes; fabrication of strainers of sizes up to 1.5", carrying out non-destructive testing such as magnetic particle/ liquid penetration etc. as required; hook-up with existing pipeline as per drawings wherever required; cleaning and flushing by water/ compressed air, carrying out hydrostatic test, pneumatic test, valve functional test and any other type of testing as specified, de-pressurising, dewatering, drying by compressed air if applicable; cutting/ rebeveling (as required), excavation excavation and filling in all types of soil including soft/hard rocks for installation of piping/ pipe supports providing pipe supports including all associated civil and structural works; painting, finishing, clean-up and restoration of site; pre-commissioning and providing commissioning assistance to Commissioning Contractor/Agency for process piping and commissioning of non-process piping if applicable; clean-up and restoration of site, preparation of as built drawings, documents and project records; transportation of surplus free issue materials to Owner's designated place(s); completing all works in all respects as per the AFC drawings, specifications, standards and other provisions of Contract and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- a) This work is exclusive of all works associated with main pipeline covered at SOR Item N0. 2.1 of above. b) All Civil/structural works except for piping supports will be paid separately as per rate provided in civil SOR. c) All items fittings, flanges, valves, pipes below 2" shall be supplied & installed by the contractor, Under this item Contractor to quote accordingly. d) All bolts, nuts, gaskets, washer, U-Clamp of all size shall be supplied & installed by the contractor, Under this item Contractor to quote accordingly. e) Sectionalizing valves assembly shall be installed after mainline hydrostest valve assembly and piping shall be pre hydrotested above ground & hook up with pipeline. f) All pipe area shall be coated with coating sleeve. g) Valve shall be painted with 100% solid epoxy of 1000 micron thick by power creet 95
COMPLETE WORKS FOR TAP-OFF POINTS ALONG WITH INSTALLATION OF BURIED ISOLATION VALVE Complete works of taking 8 nos of hook up from proposed 8" Pipeline and 3 nos of hook up from proposed 6" Pipeline providing a tap-off point to consumers and installation of buried isolation valve with each tap-off along 8" line as per approved drawings. The work includes fabrication and installation of all piping , valves, IJ, Flow tees and fittings at all depths in under ground & above ground, in all types of terrains and soils including transportation, handling of Owner supplied valves to work site, Supply of pipes, fittings & valves for piping of size below 2" size from Contractor's designated issue point(s) to work site, supply of Contractor's supplied materials to work site(s), all mechanical works including fabrication, welding, non destructive testing of welds, weld repairs/ retesting, cleaning/ flushing, pre-hydrotesting & hydrostatic testing, dewatering, functional testing, cutting of mainline and bevelling (if required), tie-in of valve assembly, including radiography of tie-in joints, corrosion, coating and external painting as required. clean up and restoration of site, filling and grading of area around work location for avoiding any local flooding of area and as per specification and instructions of Owner/Owner's representative. Preparation of as-built drawings, documents and project records and performing all works as per drawings, specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. This work is exclusive of all works associated with main pipeline covered under SOR Item No. 2.1 of above. 2. Works involve providing of pipe supports which shall be considered under this item only. 3. All material below 2" sizes, assorted pipe of all size and thickness, bolts, Nuts, washers, U-clamps, gaskets as per PMS etc. as required for piping facilities shall be procured and supplied by the contractor within rate quoted. These items shall not separately measured and paid. 4. The assembly shall be fabricated & pre-tested before installation in pipeline 5. Bidder to quote considering above.
CS STRUCTURAL STEEL
RESTORATION OF ASPHALT ROAD (PIPELINE TRENCHING AREA) TO THE SATISFACTION OF CONCERNED AUTHORITIES JURISDICTION OVER THE SAME INCLUDING OBTAINING NOC Providing all materials and labour for making good roads for all depths & width up to including surface preparation, rectification of damaged portions of 1st layer of WBM, base course, sub-base course, filling in ruts and depressions, etc. breaking adjoining portion of roads, if required, cleaning the surfaces, providing the layers as per the specifications of roads (WBM layers to proper thickness, including compacting, watering, filling voids with screenings and binding material of plasticity index up to 6%, including cost of supply of screening and binding material etc. complete as per specification of road work. Providing and laying 50mm thick bitumen premix carpet including heating bitumen, mixing stone chips, grit, laying to proper grade and camber including preparation of surface, filling pot holes with premix chips, rolling premix carpet with 8 to 10 ton road roller, providing and rolling seal coat to proper grade and camber, spreading sand over finished surfaces including brushing and clearing WBM surfaces, spraying tack coat of bitumen, etc. complete including providing and running road roller etc. all as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer- in-Charge. Note : 1. This item covers only the Asphalt Road Coming in the Pipeline Trench area. Any other area damaged by Laying contractor due to movement of Machinery or any other reason will be done by Contractor at their own cost. 2.All other restoration is included in SOR Item No. 2.1

IDLE TIME PRESERVATION OF PIPELINE Preservation of complete pipeline and associated facilities and its maintenance including supply of all consumables, all equipment, man-power, etc., complete as per the requirements of specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in- Charge. By filling and pressurising with corrosion inhibited water including supply and maintenance of water with regular dosing of inhibitor to maintain the effectiveness of the inhibitor water for the following details: ( Pipeline size - 219.1 mm (8 INCH) / 168.3 mm (6 INCH) Pressure in bar(g) 2, Specified period 3 month )
CIVIL WORKS
FENCING & GATE
Supplying, fixing and tensioning in position 2.5mm(12gauge), 2 ply, 4 points, GI Barbed wire designation A-1 conforming to IS:278 in horizontal rows and cross diagonals for compound wall "Y" shaped overhang etc. with necessary GI staples, clips and pins, GI straining bolts and binding wire with all labour and materials etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.(The barbed wire shall be measured in linear length of the barbed wire actually fixed).
SUPPLY & FIXING : CONCENTINA COIL Supplying and laying concertina coil of 750 mm diameter over boundary wall as per specifications.
Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position structural steel line posts, straining posts, struts for 'Y' shaped overhang etc. conforming to IS:2062 over brick/stone Masonry/ RCC compound walls/ columns, cutting to required size as per drawings and specifications, welding where necessary, embedding in position, holding to correct level and line, any auxiliary structure for dummy supports, drilling holes and painting as per painting specification attached with tender, cutting brick/rubble/concrete surfaces if necessary, grouting with M20 grade concrete including cost of grout with all labour and material etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer-in- Charge.
Supplying, fabricating and fixing G.I. chain link fencing with 3.5mm dia. wire, 50x50mm diamond mesh chain link fence fabric conforming to IS:2721 fixed to steel/RCC posts/struts above ground level, including supply of chain link fencing fabric, stretcher bars, staples, etc. required for fixing the fencing, fixing of chain link fencing between straining posts, fixing of bottom of fencing to a concrete sill beams by means of hairpin beams by means of hairpin staples, including supply and fixing line wires, complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer -in- Charge.
Providing and fixing in position Steel Entrance Gates consisting of MC- 75 framework for shutters, 20mm square M.S. vertical bars welded to the framework @100mm c/c, 2mm thick M.S. sheet boxing, locking arrangement, 25mm thick, 75mm dia M.S. wheel with ball bearing including fixing the gate to RCC/ masonry by M.S. hinge arrangement (75mm x 75mm x 6mm M.S. angles, bolt, washers) and M.S. hold fast grouted with M-15 grade concrete, providing and fixing M.S. pivot, 50mm x 50mm x 6mm M.S. Tee bent to shape and embedded in road surface for gate opening track, gate stopper, painting the gate with approved shade and quality synthetic enamel paint (two coats) and a coat of approved quality primer, ensuring smooth operation of the gate etc. all complete as per attached standard drawing.
EARTHWORK IN SITE GRADING Earthwork in excavation and filling in all types of soil except soft rock and hard rock for general site grading for all heights and depths including clearing and stripping etc. in excavation areas, removing shrubs, grass, bushes, vegetable growth and other objectionable materials, trees upto and inclusive of a girth of 30 cms. (girth measured at a height of one metre above ground level) including uprooting of roots, etc., dewatering, if necessary, sorting out the excavated soil into serviceable and unserviceable materials in excavation areas and including filling in filling areas with serviceable material for general site grading and roads for all heights and depths to proper levels, slopes, grades and camber including clearing and stripping in filling areas as per specifications, consolidating exposed natural soil to 90% of max. laboratory dry density as per IS:2720 Part-VII, cutting of trees of girth upto and inclusive of 30 cms, removal of vegetation, breaking clods, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cms loose thickness, watering, ramming and compacting with power road rollers to give at least 90% of max. laboratory dry density, dressing, leveling, testing, etc. and disposal of unserviceable materials/surplus earth if any, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge including stacking and/or dumping and dressing the same in demarcated areas etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (The leads for the above mentioned operations shall be within the boundary limit of the plant and measurement shall be taken in the cutting area only).
SAND FILLING Supplying and filling approved SAND of specified quality under floors, in foundations, plinths, tank foundations etc. for all depths and heights including cost of sand,royalties, transportation to site for all leads and lifts,including loading, unloading, spreading in layers of loose thickness not exceeding 150 mm,watering,ramming,compacting with mechanical compactors and/or other equipment to the specified levels to achive 85% relative density as per IS:2720 Part XIV,including preparation of subgrade to the required slope,providing testing apparatus and testing the degree of consolidation all complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge.The rates shall be inclusive of the cost of all labour,material,equipments etc. all complete .
RCC HUME PIPE CULVERT Providing, laying, jointing and testing RCC hume pipes of 500mm dia. and np3 class for culverts, road crossing, incl. excavation in all strata up to an average depth of 1 m cutting, collars jointing in 1:2 cement mortar etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the engineer-in charge.
DEMOLITION OF R.C.C./BRICKS/STONE MASONRY. Site clearance by demolition of R.C.C./Brickwork/Stone Masonry/Stone Soling, Flexible pavements etc. along with removing the debris and disposal of unserviceable material to any lead and staking of serviceable materials, handing over serviceable material to concerned department if required as per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. Rate includes cost of all labour, tools, tackles, hire charges, royalties, levies, leads, loading/unloading, transportation, water, electric power, illumination etc. complete in all respects as per scope of work, detailed construction drawings, technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. 2. Demolition of RCC/PCC/Brick Masonry/Road will be paid in NET CUM as demolished.
ERC/IRC Construction of ERC/IRC as per Std. including supplying and laying in position PVC pipes conforming to IS:4985 Class-I for electrical and instrumentation Road Crossings as per standard drawing and its addendum, including cutting the pipes if necessary, lowering, laying in position to proper levels, etc. embedded in M-20 grade concrete, providing proper jointing as per code requirements or manufacturer's recommendations, etc. including earth work in excavation in all types of soil except soft and hard rock, backfilling and making good the surface, including cutting of new/ existing roads and making good the same including supply of any road material if required, (Back filling with road material shall be done in 150 mm thick layers well watered and compacted), including supplying and providing in the encasement concrete, cable crossing indicator made out of 4 mm thick MS circular plate of dia. 150mm welded to 16 mm dia. MS rod of approximately 1.0 m length and painting and lettering with 2 coats of approved enamel paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide primer etc., supply and fixing of reinforcement as per drawing, including disposal of surplus earth anywhere within plant bounDSRy limit etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge.
EARTH WORK IN FOUNDATION
Earth work in Excavation below ground level for all kinds of works in ALL TYPES OF SOIL as classified in specification for a depth upto 1.5m including removal of vegetation, shrubs and debris, cutting and dressing of sides in slopes, levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms, dewatering of accumulated water from any source and keeping the surface dry for subsequent works and disposal or stacking of excavated material within a lead of 100m, as directed including providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewage pipes, electric overhead and underground cables etc. all complete.
For depth beyond 1.5m and upto & inclusive of 3.0m.
EARTHWORK IN FILLING by excavating the earth from BORROW AREAS arranged by CONTRACTOR for all leads, transporting the earth from borrow area including cleaning & stripping the earth at borrow areas, breaking clods, loading, unloading and laying at all depths and heights in layers of thickness not exceeding 15 cms., watering, rolling and ramming by manual methods/mechanical compactors to achieve 90% of the maximum laboratory dry density, dressing, trimming, levelling the top surface etc. in foundations, plinths, trenches etc. all complete.
Transporting and disposing the SURPLUS EARTH AND DEBRIS including shrubs and vegetations from construction area beyond the initial lead of 100M including re-excavating the deposited soil excavated earlier, transportation, loading, unloading, laying at all depths and heights, stacking, levelling and dressing both the area (viz. from where the earth is transported and where it is deposited) to required levels and slopes complete with all lifts as directed. For carting on the basis of truck measurements (volume of truck reduced by 30% for voids) i) Upto 1.0Km.
PLAIN & REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE:
Providing and laying PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE for all depths below and upto plinth level in foundations,drains, fillings, non-suspended floors, pavements & ramps or any other works etc. including shuttering, tamping, ramming, vibrating, curing, shuttering etc. all as specified in any shape, position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth as specified and directed all complete for concrete of nominal mix 1:4:8 by volume (1 Cement: 4 Coarse Sand: 8 Crushed Stone Aggregates/Gravels with 40mm and down size graded crushed stone aggaregates.
Concrete of nominal mix of 1:5:10 by volume (1 Cement :5 Coarse Sand : 10 Crushed Stone Aggaregates/Gravels).

PAVER BLOCK FLOORING Supplying and placing in position as per approved pattern of Cement Concrete Inter locking paver block 80 mm thick of approved shape, rough finish, M-40 strength of approved brand laid over the sand bed of minimum 100 mm thick. The CC interlocking blocks to be of uniform Grey colour or as approved by EIC complete in all respects , as per technical specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-charge Note :- 1. Rate to include cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipment, hire charges, supply of all materials such paver blocks, sand, earth work in excavation in cutting earth in all conditions, shuttering with all bye works and sundry works. 2. To be read with in conjunction with Particular Job Specification 3. Supply of all materials and providing labour, tools and tackles are in contractor’s scope
CENTERING & SHUTTERING Providing and fixing CENTERING AND SHUTTERING in foundations, footings, raft beams, slabs, pile caps, retaining walls, jambs, counter-forts, buttresses, trenches, equipment/machine foundations, pedestals, abutments, pipe sleepers, columns, plinth beams, lintels, suspended slabs, beams, staircases, landings, steps, non-circular tunnels/bunkers/silos/ shafts/ hoppers/liquid storage structures etc. including shuttering for single pour concreting, strutting, bracing, propping etc., keeping the same in position during concreting and removal of the same after specified period etc. for Straight/ Inclined Shuttering, keeping necessary provision for inserts, projecting dowels, anchor bolts or any other fixture etc. all complete and as specified and directed.

Supplying and applying FINISH PAINT of approved quality and shade including a coat of primer as per Specification/BIS Codes over one coat of shop primer already applied including storage, surface preparation, degreasing, cleaning, drying, touching up of shop primer coat, providing temporary staging, scaffolding, testing etc., for steel structures at all levels and locations, all complete as specified.
MISCELLANEOUS STEEL WORKS
Supplying, fabricating and erecting in position at all levels and locations bolted, screwed and/or welded M.S. CHEQUERED PLATES of any thickness in walkways, platforms, stairtreads, any other place as directed etc. including cutting to required size, shape, making holes, notches, openings of required size, nosing, straightening if required, making the edges smooth, removing the burrs, fixing, welding, preparation and submission of fabrication drawings and preparing the surfaces for painting and applying shop primer as per Specification after fabrication etc. all complete as specified and directed.
Supplying, transporting, storing, fabricating and fixing in position M.S. METAL INSERT (with lugs) of any shape made out of flats, plates, rolled sections, pipes etc. providing necessary templates, staging, cutting, straightening, if required, bolting, welding as required and embedding in position on both Plain and Reinforced Cement concrete members inclusive of adjusting shuttering & reinforcement/any other fixture, welding where necessary, tying and holding to correct level, line and position, any auxilliary dummy structures to support the heavy inserts, painting exposed surfaces with a coat of Red Oxide Zinc Chromate Primer etc. all complete for all depths and heights as specified and directed.
Supplying, fabricating, fixing and keeping in position at all levels and locations THREADED ANCHOR BOLTS of all diameters and nomenclature including nuts, washers, anchor plates, pipe sleeves etc. in foundations, columns, pedestals, slabs, beams, walls etc. or any other place as directed including handling & transporting, straightening if required, turning from relevant size M.S. rounds to required diameter, threading, welding, providing necessary templates and auxilliary dummy structures, if any, necessary tying and welding with reinforcement, adjustment of shuttering & reinforcement/any other fixture, greasing exposed metal surfaces, covering bolts and packing the sleeves with jute cloth etc. all complete as specified and directed.
BRICK MASONRY
Providing and laying BRICK MASONRY WITH BRICKS OF CLASS 7.5 in cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Sand) in one or more brick thickness and in any shape (excluding circular/curved brick masonry) at all depths and height including the cost of materials, labour, scaffolding/ staging, sampling & testing, soaking of bricks, cutting and laying of bricks, providing recesses, making openings of any shape & size, finishing the joints flush below ground level and raking out the joints above ground level, sealing the gap between masonry and soffit of beam/slab, embedding the fittings & fixtures, curing, etc. all complete as per specifications.
Providing and laying HALF BRICK MASONRY with bricks of CLASS 7.5 in cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Sand)in any shape, including the cost of materials, labour, scaffolding/staging, sampling and testing, soaking of bricks, cutting and laying of bricks, providing openings of any shape & size, raking out the joints, supplying and placing 2 Nos. 6mm dia. DISTRIBUTION PANELS, DISTRIBUTION BOARD & ISOLATORS : Supply,Installation,Testing and Commissioning of Electrical / Control Panels suitable for 415 Volt,3phase,4wire 50Hz AC supply system fabricated in compartmentlized from CRCA sheet steel not less than 2mm thick duly treated with 7 tanks process, powder coated with approved shade and oven dried . The complete panel will have a short circuit with stand capacity of 25 kA for 1 Second, IP 42 rating. It will have a suitable MS base channel powder coated. The panel will be fabricated in transportable sections. The panel shall have a common copper earth bar of size 25mm x 5mm at the rear with 2 Nos. earth studs.
