Excavation in earth work in hill area in all heights and depth in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock, cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil errosions, damaged to hill side, water polution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chieseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to line, grades, side slopes,width, camber, super elevation and level as shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirement of techanical specification for rural road, August 2004 and clause 16.2 of general conditions for contract to achieve design formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for constructions at suitable sites and safe disposal & dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimuing filling of uneven ness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding.The recovery of stones weather useful or not for shall be effected on prorata basis. Any loss to the public and private property durinth the course of executions shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be dully compansated by him in all cases. contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidental charges.

Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. All the surplus excavated earth to be dumped at dumping site(dumping sites will be arranged by the contractor on his own cost).Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be dully compensated by him at his on cost in all cases. including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) Cement Concrete 1:6:12(One cement:Six sand:Twelve graded stone aggregate 40mm(forty milimetre) nominal size).

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802,803,1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. I. P.C.C. grade M 10 (i) Nominal mix 1:3:6 (One cement :three sand: six graded stone aggregate)

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per specification clause 1204.3.8 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) Granular material.

Providing weep holes in Breast wall/Retaining wall on stone masonry with 100mm ( One hundred milimetre) & P.V.C. pipe with slop of 1:20 to wards the face complete as per drawing including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
