Providing and laying of Micro Surfacing course (layer covers 6mm to 8 mm thick, Type III) with with Self propelled Micro Surfacing Paver/Machine, comprising of dry fine aggregates conforming to Type-III grading of specification, polymer modified cationic slow setting bitumen emulsion (having min 60% binder content), ordinary Portland cement, and water in the following proportion. (i) Fine aggregate conforming to type-III grading @ 11- 12 kg per Sqm of road surface coverage; or as per requirement of mix design. (ii) Residual Binder 5.5 to 10.5% by weight of dry aggregate or as per Job Mix Formula. (iii) Cement @ 0 - 2% by weight of fine aggregate /or as per requirement of mix design. (iv) Water 9 to 11% of the weight of dry aggregate / or as per the requirement of site conditions. Including cleaning the existing road surface using wire brushes and air compressor for properly cleaning road surface prior to start the work as per clause 512.5.2 of MoRTH specification and applying tack-coat of bitumen as per clause 512.5.3 of MoRTH specification. All materials, Mix design and sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work. All complete as per technical specification in tender and as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Removing of asphalt courses by milling machind in layer including transporting the removed materials outside for disposal upto 5 km lead and above complete, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work, including cutting of Asphalt/ concrete surface of periphery by cutting machine etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (a) For milling depth upto 55 mm.
Mastic Asphalt: Providing and laying 25 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirements given in table 500-39, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface using wire brushes and air compressor, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces not less than 1000C, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work, All materials and Mix design must be approve from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work, all complete as per clause 516.
Asphalt Painting: Painting the existing bituminous surface with bitumen of grade VG-30 including cleaning the existing road surface using wire brushes and air compressor for properly cleaning road surface and then applying the bitumen @ 0.75 kg/1.0 sq.mt. with mechanically operated sprayer fitted on bitumen boiler and including flushing fine clean stone dust @ 0.03 cum/10 sq.mt. over the asphalt painted surface including cleaning and disposing of extra stone dust after completion of work within 5 to 10 days and flushing extra stone dust during bitumen bleeding on surface including the cost of material, labour, transportation, royalty charges, heating of bitumen, hire charges of machineries - air compressor, sprayer and all type of labours & materials, (actual weight uses of bitumen in kgs to be measured in the presence of representatives of Engineer-in-charge, less quantity uses above limit to be deducted from payment) during application of bitumen painting existing kerbing/footpath to be covered with plastic etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam:- Providing and laying dense graded bituminous macadam Grade-II 50-75 mm thickness with higher capacity batch type Hot Mix Plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder grade VG-40 @ 4.5% by weight of total mix and filler (bitumen binder content 4.5% is minimum also excess bitumen used over 4.5% shall not payable), transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory, tandem and pneumatic tyre rollers to achieve the desired compaction, including clearing of road surface with mechanical broomer and air compressor, including applying Tack coat of bitumenous emulsion grade RS1 @ 2.5 kg/10 sq.mt. over existing bituminous road surface, all complete as per MoRTH specification clause No. 505 and technical specifications in NIT, All materials and Mix design must be approve from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work., etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Bituminous Concrete:- Providing and laying bituminous concrete Grade-II, 40 mm thickness with higher capacity batch type Hot Mix Plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder grade VG-40 @ 5.4% of mix and filler (bitumen binder content 5.4% is minimum also excess bitumen used over 5.4% shall not payable), transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory, tandem and pneumatic tyre rollers to achieve the desired compaction, including clearing of road surface with mechanical broomer and air compressor, including applying Tack coat of bitumenous emulsion grade RS1 @ 2.5 kg/10 sq.mt. over bituminous road surface, all complete as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 and technical specifications in NIT, All materials and Mix design must be approve from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work, etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Scarifying gravelled macadam or bitumen macadam surface 6 cm to 10 cm. depth including stacking useful materials on road side and disposing off remaining stuff etc. all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including profile correction with 250 mm thickness including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density as per Clause 406 of MoRTH., etc. including excavation all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supplying & laying of bi-axial extruded high modulus polypropylene geogrid coforming to MORT&H specification for base/sub-base reinforcement having minimum tensile strength 40kN/m in the longitudinal and transverse direction, with 14kN/m and 28kN/m tensile strength at 2% and 5% strain respectively in the longitudinal and transverse direction, junction efficiency not less than 95% and with 38mm X 38mm mesh opening. It has to be installed/fixed in such a way that it will not gets shaken at the time of laying bitumen tack coat and bitumenous concrete over it (tack coat and bitumenous concrete shall be paid seperatly). sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work. All complete in all respect and as directed by Engineer - In - Charge
Road marking with hot applied thermoplastic paints with reflectorising glass beads on bitumin surface providing and laying a hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is excluding of surface applied glass beds as per IRC:35-2015. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. zebra patta /bump patta lane/center line/ edge line/cut patta. The white color marking should provide liminance coefficinet on cemend road shalll be min 130 mcd/m2/lux and Asphalt road shall be min 100 mcd/m2/lux during the service life during the day time. The marking should meet the performance criteria for night time reflectivity, wet reflectivity and skid resistance as mentioned in the section-15 of IRC 35-2015. zebra patta /bump patta lane/center line/ edge line/cut patta, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work, all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (Make: Alcolite, Kataline or as approved by Engineer-in-charge)
Cat Eye / Road Stud / RPM: Supplying Raised Pavement Markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with Micro prismatic lens (No Glass bead lens) capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 13635 kgs. tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 Ð DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 20 mm, 130 mm and 130 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The body of the marker should having finger grip for easy and accurate placement and application. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kgf. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturers recommended of the marker. And Barrier Wall Reflectors Road Marker. The color of the marker should be as per the IRC 35-2015 and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Including removing existing cat eye. sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work. (Make: 3M, Ladwa or as approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Painting of Kerb, median, crash barrier, culvert head wall, guard stones etc. with weather proof exterior emulsion paint (two coats) of approved brand and manufacture on undecorated wall surface to give an even shade including throughly brushing the surface free from mortar droppings and other foreign matter and sand papered smooth etc. complete, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work. (Make:- Apex Weatherproof Emulsion paint of Asian Paints, Berger, Nerolac or as approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Applyig priming coat paint (one coat) on Kerb, median, crash barrier, culvert head wall, guard stones etc. including removing existing paint surface by sand papered smooth, free from mortar droppings and other foreign matter etc. complete, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work, all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Make:- Exterior Wall Primer of Asian Paints, Berger, Nerolac or as approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Finishing with Epoxy paint (two coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer’s specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. Including throughly brushing the surface free from mortar droppings and other foreign matter and sand papered smooth etc. complete. On steel work, existing steel/GI railing. sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work (Paint: Asain Apcolite Advanced, MRF Epidec and primer: Apcolite Advanced MRF Epidec or as approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Metal Beam Crash Barrier:- Type - A, "W" : Metal Beam Crash Barrier, Providing and erecting and fixing a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 811 etc. complete, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work.
RCC railing: Construction and installation of precast RCC railing of M30 Grade, aggregate size not exceeding 12 mm, true to line and grade, tolurence of vertical RCC post not to exceed 1 in 500 plan dimension varies upto 270 x 270 mm approx. and height is 1100 mm, centre to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000 mm, three row horizontal beams between two verticlal post of size approx. 165 x 165 mm, leaving adequate space between vertical post for expansion, complete as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
Providing and supplying of Road traffic safety equipments: Road Traffic Safety Cone: HDPE, Height 750mm to 1000mm weight 5.75 to 6 Kg, with Reflective Strips Collar, Shade Red/ White, Make Nilkamal, KTI or as approv.ed by Engineer-in-charge.
Road Traffic Safety Barrier: HDPE, size 1000 L X 350 W X 760 H mm (as approved), with Reflective Strips, Shade Red/ Yellow, Make Nilkamal, KTI or as approved by Engineer-in-charge.
Road Traffic Safety Metal Expandable Barrier: Height- 4 feet, Length- 12 feet & Weight- 35-40 KG approximately, Material- Iron Powder Coating painted, Shade Red/Yellow/Black as approved by Engineer-in-charge, complete as per IRC: SP55-2001.
Rumble Strips: Providing, supplying and installation of compression molded 100% recycled synthetic & rubber composite speed bumps of size 350 mm x 250 mm x 50 mm painted in black & yellow reflecting type having specific gravity 1.1, tensile strength 500 psi & further installing the units into asphalt or concrete surfaces into tongue & groove system to ensure that the units are properly interlocked using high yield strength anchor bolts inserted into the plastic anchors after proper brushing the surface clean, sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work, all complete as directed by the Engineer in charge
Supplying and installation of delineators (road way indicators, hazard markers, object markers), 80-100 cm high above ground level, painted black and white in 15 cm wide stripes, fitted with 80 x 100 mm rectangular or 75 mm dia circular reflectorised panels at the top, buried or pressed into the ground and confirming to IRC-79 and the drawings. All metal body parts shall be coated with one coat of epoxy primer and two coats of best quality epoxy paint. Hazard markers of size approx. 900 x 300 mm, Route marker & Chevron sign size : 600 x 450 mm. sample must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work.
Providing and fixing of retro- reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC :67 made of class C type XI retro reflective sheeting fixed over 2mm thick aluminium sheeting vide clause 801.3, 3mm/4mm thick Aluminum composite material sheet depending on the size of the sign fixed over back support frame of min 25x25x3mm Angle mounted on a G.I. steel circular pipe having 3.2 mm thicknness 75 mm dia firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M25 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing. All metal body parts shall be coated with one coat of epoxy primer and two coats of best quality epoxy paint. The sign shall be maintained as section 12 of IRC 67. Sample of each signages must be approved from Engineer-in-charge prior to start the work. (i) 75 cm equilateral triangle

Men at work (Folding) sign :- Providing and supplying sign boards made out of 2mm aluminium sheet; size 60 x 60x 60 cms. equilatrel as per the attached drawing. pre treated with phospheting process & acid etching coated with one coat of epoxy primer and two coats of best quality epoxy paint; reflectorised with retro refiective sheeting as per latest M.O.S.T. Specifications; stand post and frame fabricated made of G.I. as per attached drawing painted with best quality epoxy coatings. The details of symbol or in inscription or numerals as per attached drawing (A) Engineer Grade (VR) as approved by Engineer-in-charge.
