VH Facade (G plus7 Storey) Repair of window glazing joints by replacing gaskets and filling sealant in windows

Providing and filling of silicone sealant in joints for all external windows of the multistory Visitor Hostel building. The scope includes careful removal of existing/old silicone sealant along with backer rod, complete cleaning of grooves, and proper surface preparation to ensure effective bonding. A new backer rod shall be installed in all joints prior to application of sealant to maintain the required joint depth and achieve optimal adhesion. Application of DowSil 789 (Black) silicone sealant shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and standard practices. Upon completion of the silicone work, water testing shall be conducted to verify the effectiveness of sealing and to ensure no leakage. as per direction of Engineers incharge. Note:-The above work will be taken up by the agency using Jhulha, Safety nets, PPEs etc. during execution of work. Nothing shall be paid extra for this work.

Replacement of EPDM rubber/neoprene gaskets in existing façade windows of multistory buildings, as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
