SPECIAL REPAIRS TO CERTAIN ROADS IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AF STN YELAHANKA

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n exc 400 sqm ( depth exceeding 50 mm but n. exc 100 mm) including stacking usable materials for re-use and removing rubbish to a distance n. exc 50 m complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick ( Compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of grading 2 ( 63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 ( 50 to 20 mm size) of granite, trap, or basalt, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5Kgs/10 Sqm, using paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed.

All as per srl item No 03 here-in-before but preparing unsurfaced water boumd macadam surfaces and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete using Paving bitumen any penetration and rolled with 8 to 12 ton power roller and compacted to required camber and gradient. (Note : Mixing to be carried out at Hot mixing Plant and laid by mechanical paver) complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to pot holes any depth not exc. 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat at @ 5 Kg/10Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8Kg/10 Sqm, binded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chipping ) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm by using paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for premixed bituminious macadam with 4.00% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 laid with self propelling mechanical paver, rolled & compacted to required gradient and cabmer ( consolidated thickness upto maximum 75 mm or less ) to make good the cut edges of roads etc complete all as specified and directed. (Note: scarifying shall be measured under item no-1 and priming coat shall be measured under item no 6)

S & F solar stud, made of aluminium alloy and construction, size 125 x 125 x 25mm, solar powered by monocrystal solar panel, having one high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery for power back upto 12 Hrs and 3 Nos LEDs-010mm each side total 06 nos, viewer distance 1000mtrs, fixing with nail/ screws/fastener/ polymer adhesive/ epoxy bond to the road surfaces, after preparation and making even surfaces, complete all as specified and directed. ( Make : Dark Eye/ /Green-lite/3M or equivalent)

M & L Preparation of new / old road surfaces and applying reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (White or golden yellow) of minimum 2.50 mm thick (conforming to BIS-3262), single coat as in centre line and edge line road marking of 150/ 100mm width using 'HOT MARK' by indigenous modern propelled road marking machine as directed including all ingredients such as binder, glass beads, titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, inter filler as specified in table 803.4 of MORTH specification, thermoplastic requirement for glass beads shall be as specified in (intermix) type-I, MOST/BS 6088A and road marking shall done as per provisions contained in IRC-35-1997, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair dual directional reflective road studs (cat eye) of impact resistant plastic stud 110mm X 110mm, double moulded solid state having ultra-voilet resistant colour (white/red/yellow) with four round disc containging 28x2-56 mini retro reflective glass beass of colour white/red/yellow to a side provided with L-key steel 12mm dia bolt along with ABS plastic stem of length 55mm for fixing on road with epoxy adhesive complete all as specified and directed. S & F metal guide post/delinator, high performance, 02 Nos, 100mm dia reflectors of high reflection, made of PMMA and mounted on mild steel pipe of 50mm bore, duly powder coated, anti-rust and anti-theft steel net. Height not less than 800mm, complete all as specified and directed. ( Make : Model No DA 952 GP Dark Eye/Gunnebo/yash/Green-lite Note :- Cost of PCC, M-10 (1:3:6), type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushd stone agg) and earth wk incl excavation etc shall be deemed incl in quoted rates.)

S&F of convex mirror size 80 to 100mm dia with stainless steel post length 2.10 mtr above GL and diametr of pole 100mm including Excavating post hole and filling the post hole with PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40mm gradded aggregate) all as specified and directed.
