| 1Supply installation, testing & commisioning of retrofit Emission Control Device (RECD) for reducing DG Emission as per CPCB guide lines suitable for following DG Sets of any make and model installed at 20Wg AF with following. Note: test certificae Shall be Produced by contractor with user rep signature. (a) Technology - Catalytic Converter system as per CPB-Il norms and policy. (b) Technical specification as per standard and as per CPB-II norms and policy in vogue. Technical Specifications - RECD (Retrofit Emission Control Device) for different model and different capacity. 1. Sensors: Temperature and pressure 2. Display: On-board diagnostics (IP-65 protection) 3. Inlet & Outlet Pipe Size: As required / site specific 4. Outer Insulation: Stainless steel cladding with ceramic blanket 5. Maintenance Interval: Every 1000 operating hours or annually (whichever is earlier) 6. Service Life: Minimum 6 years or 6000 hours of operation Emission Parameters Reduction Particulate Matter (PM) Carbon Monoxide (CO) Hydrocarbons (HC) Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) 7. Emission Reduction Efficiency: ≥ 80% 8. Regeneration Type: Continuous passive regeneration (CPR) 9. Noise Level: Same as existing silencer 10. Technology: Catalytic oxidation 11. | 1.01 | 13. Catalyst Type: Platinum group metal (PGM)
14. Back Pressure: Zero back pressure, validated by ARAl test report
Monitoring Parameters
Exhaust temperature
Back pressure
15. Operating Temperature Range: 140°C to 1380°C
16. Compliance: CPCB / ARAI / ICAT standards
17. Power Supply Requirement: Single phase, 50 Hz, 230 V AC
Make: Platino Automative Put Ltd pequivalent make as per CPCB-II Norms & policy approved list.
c) Integrated Safety System
Exhaust is redirected to the device via a tapping in the stack and it will provide dual outlet with stainless steel disc and outer body to resist temperatures up to 1380 °C and backpressure way below the limit defined by the OEM. It provides three-layer security system with a poka yoke design ensuring the DG set is safeguarded from any malfunction of Chakr Shield.
Three-level safety means the system is safeguarded by electronically through pressure sensors, if it fails then it will be operated electrically from panel using the ON/OFF switch, in case of electrical failure, system can be operated manually.
d) Oxidation Chamber
Exhaust coming out from the DG set will be routed through the pipe toward the oxidation chamber for the oxidation of pollutants like hydrocarbon, carbon monoxide and Nitric oxide.
This device will aid passive regeneration of particulate matter trap.
e) Particulate Matter Trap
This system will capture the soot particle or particulate matter and release aerosol free exhaust air.
This trap is designed to ensure back pressure are kept in limit and required PM reduction efficiency is met.
f) Active or Passive Regeneration System
This unit is chosen as per operating conditions of DG set. In case of passive regeneration, a robust and reliable catalyst coating is used to reduce the soot particle oxidation temperature well below DG operating temperatures and ensuring continuous regeneration of the trap. This catalyst is also to be chosen from durability and life perspective and as per fit for market usage. In cases of active regeneration, a heating device will be installed along with the PM trap to intermittently work towards oxidation of Soot and cleaning of PM trap. | - | - | - | - |
| 1.02 | (g) Non-return Valve
It will ensure and restrict the reverse flow of exhaust gas into the device and eventually into the engine, which will further full proof the safety of the DG set
h) Electrical Panel Specifications:
Above panel with all necessary display warnings and circuit safety features inbuilt.
Note:
(i) Minor electrical requirements etc shall be provided by the contractor and included in quoted rate.
(ii) The device must be tested by one of the five currently CPCB recognized / Approved laboratories:-
(a) Automatic research association of India, Pune (Maharashtra).
(b) International center for automotive technology, Manesar (Haryana).
(c) Indian Oil corporation, Reserch and Development centre Faridabad (Haryana).
(d) Indian institute of Petroleum, Dehradun (Uttarakhand).
