CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SOIL INVESTIGATION FOR PERIMETER SECURITY WALL AND FENCE AT LIKABALI MIL STN

Amount

Mobilization/Transportation, Erection & Dismantling of all required Equipments at Proposed Site including Shifted and suitable Personal for Effective Soil Investigation as required, complete all as specified and as directed.

Carrying out Soil Investigation by Boring 150mm dia Hole (conforming to relavent IS)at various Locations as shown at Site by Engineer-in-Charge in any kind of Soil but excluding Rock, collection of undisturbed Sample at Every 1.00 Metre depth, Collection of disturbed Sample at suitable as required at Site. Conducting Standard Penetration Test as per relevant IS as an Interval of 1.50 Metre Upto a depth of 12.00 Metre, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: The Depth of Bore holes for Security Wall shall be 12.00 Metre and Spacing of Bore holes to be 150.00 Metre to 200.00 Metre or wherever Strata changes.

Carrying out Soil Investigation Trial Pit of Size 1.20x1.20x1.20 Metre at various Locations as shown at Site by Engineer-in-Charge in any kind of Soil but excluding Rock, collection of undisturbed/ disturbed Sample as per relevant IS, complete all as specified and as directed.

Carrying out the following Laboratory Tests on the Soil Sample as per IS Codes for Per Bore hole and Trial Pit, complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE :- (a) Sieve Analysis and Hydrometer Tests of Identification and Classification of Soil based on Properties and Grain Size. (b) Specific Gravity of the Soil. (c) Studies of Settlement Characteristics of Soil based on Consolidation Tests and Liquid and Plastic Limit. (d) Stratification of Soil for entire Depth of Bore Log including Ground Water Table Location and other Properties. Evaluation of Shear Parameters of Undisturbed Soil Samples by Adopting Direct Shear Test. (e) Natural Moisture Content (NMC) Void Ratio and Porosity, Tri Axial and Direct Shear Test and confined Compression Test of undisturbed Samples and Bulk, submerged and Dry Density of the Soil. (f) Compilation of SSI Report as per IS (viz Field and Laboratory Test Results, Preparation of Reports, Recommendation for different type of Foundations, Water Table with Clear unamiguous Recommendations for Types of Foundation for all Structures with Bearing Capacity/ Pile Capacities. (f) Recommendations will be duly vetted by the Vetting Agency as per NOTES below:- (i) Submission of all Report Booklets 05 (Five) Copies with CD -01 (One) Copy duly indicating the following :- (ii) Evaluation of Safe Bearing Capacity of the Soil with respect to Shear Failure Test and Permissible Settlement (Total and Differential) alongwith recommendation about type of Foundation and Minimum Depth of Foundation to be adopted. (iii) Evaluatio of Liquefaction Potential. (iii) Evaluation of K Value. (iv) Specific suggestion if any Soil Treatment if required below Foundation/Ground Floor/ Roads and type of Treatment to be carried out. (v) Bore Log Diagram duly showing the Different Layes of Strata meet alognwith their Depths.
