Replacement of damaged Spillway Stop Log Sill Beam of bay 1, 2 and 3 by modified Solid SS Sill Beam and Repair of Spillway Glacis between Sill Beam of Stop Log and Radial Gate by providing steel liner grade IS 2062-E450BR and HPC M70 (A 20)

Earth work in all kinds of soil in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic Excavator )/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Filling by supplying filling materials from outside in road works, in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth excluding carriage of materials and including consolidation of each layer by ramming, watering etc all complete by manual/mechanical means.

Providing of 9 mm 4-strand Polypropylene (PP) Rope Gabions (UV stabilized) with 100x100 mm aperture and size 2mx1mx1m in 2 compartments of 1m each with/ without slings, providing and placing boulders of around 20 kg to 40 kg in weight and 150 mm to 300 mm in size in PP rope gabion box including cost of polymer ropes for tying, cost of tying the lid of gabions with polymer ropes and cost of placing the gabion box at desired locations as per the specification with lead of 400 meter. The unit rate of basic material cost i.e. Rope Gabion is inclusive of loading, unloading and haulage from Siliguri but the unit rate of stone and stone spalls is exclusive of loading, unloading and haulage. The overall item rate is exclusive of taxes.

Chipping of high strength RCC / High performance concrete by manually or mechanically for a required depth and profile in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, Spillway glacis, or like the surfaces etc for up to 5th floor including cutting of reinforcement bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 150 meter lead as per direction of Engineer in charge. The surface of structures to be cleaned thoroughly by removing debris and washing etc,so as to provide clean, dry and strong surface for repair works. The rate is inclusive of all but exclusive of taxes etc.

Construction of temporary retaining wall or gravity wall by providing empty bags filled with approved quality of earth / sand / moorum / gravel etc HDPE bags to channelize the leakage water or like, including quarrying sand , filling in empty bags, knotting, manual carriage with an initial lead of 150 m and for all lift in spillway glacis, stilling basin floor or like the surfaces etc complete. The rate is including demolishing and disposal of material within 150 meters lead as per direction of Engineer - in charge. The rate is inclusive of manual carriage, loading and unloading but exclusive of taxes and mechanical carriage (Quarrying of earth / fine sand / sediment shall be from the River , hence, haulage charge need not to load in estimate)

Erection of modified sill beam of radial gate / Stoplog including handling, assembling, final matching field welding etc complete including lowering from Dam top to Ogee Spillway Glacis .The rate is exclusive the cost of sill beam , taxes, mechanical carriage from central store Sagbari / Siliguri to Dam, loading & unloading etc.

Providing, Fabrication and Installation of 25 mm thick steel liner plate of grade IS 2062-E450BR (Confirming to IS -2062:2011) in Ogee Spillway Glacis of Dam including rolling to the required radius as per drawing and welding with approved electrode having excellent mechanical properties for heavy joints under restraint and subjected to dynamic loading. The rate is exclusive of mechanical carriage from Siliguri to Dam site, loading & unloading and taxes but inclusive of lowering steel liner from Dam top to Spillway Glacis with an initial lead up to 50 meter, positioning and providing temporary Jigs & fixtures etc complete. (Payment for Providing, supporting frame work of ISMB 200 & 250 or any other required steel section at bottom of steel liner and M27 Grade 8.8 fully threaded Anchor / Dowel bar / Torque Controlled Expansion Countersunk Anchor (HSL-3-SK M12 shall be paid separately). Note No.1 :The scope of work i.e. making hole for grout in steel liner , pluging hole after grouting , welding on grout hole and finishing the surface smoothly by grinding is covered in the item of 25 mm thick steel liner plate of grade IS 2062-E450BR.Note:2 The scope of work i.e. welding on M27 Grade 8.8 fully threaded Anchor and Torque Controlled Expansion Countersunk Anchor and finishing the surface smoothly by grinding is covered in the item of 25 mm thick steel liner plate of grade IS 2062-E450BR. Hence, for both Note No.1&2 no sepaperate payment shall be payable.

Providing M27 Grade 8.8 fully threaded Anchor minimum length 570 mm including drilling of hole in 25 mm thick steel liner plate of grade IS 2062-E450BR and M70 A20 HPC and fixing M27 Grade 8.8 fully threaded Anchor minimum length 570 mm in hole with Epoxy adhesive having charateristics bond strength of 10 Mpa minimum etc all complete up to floor five level in Ogee spillway glacis, hill terrain ,stilling basin floor / wall or like the surface etc. The rate is exclusive of taxes, mechanical carriage from Siliguri to Dam site, loading & unloading etc.(The scope of work i.e. welding on M27 Grade 8.8 fully threaded Anchor and finishing the surface smoothly by grinding is covered in the item of 25 mm thick steel liner plate of grade IS 2062-E450BR. Hence, no sepaperate payment shall be payable for welding).

Providing and fixing 25 mm diameter TMT Anchor / Dowel bar including (a) Drilling of hole in existing concrete or rock or like the surface, (b) Straightening, cutting, bending and placing in position of anchor bar (c) Fixing with cement capsule / Cement grouting , etc all complete up to floor five level in Ogee spillway glacis, hill terrain ,stilling basin floor / wall or like the surface etc. The rate is exclusive of taxes, mechanical carriage, loading & unloading etc.

Providing and fixing Torque Controlled Expansion Countersunk Anchor( HSL-3-SK M12) @ 350 x 300 mm C/C grid including drilling of hole in 25 mm thick steel liner plate of grade IS 2062-E450BR and M70 A20 HPC or like the surface, up to floor five level at Ogee spillway glacis, vertical wall or like the locations and providing Epoxy adhesive for grouting etc all complete. The rate is exclusive of taxes, mechanical carriage from Siliguri to Dam site and loading & unloading. (The scope of work i.e. welding on Torque Controlled Expansion Countersunk Anchor and finishing the surface smoothly by grinding is covered in the item of 25 mm thick steel liner plate of grade IS 2062-E450BR. Hence, no sepaperate payment shall be payable for welding etc ).

Providing and laying reinforced / plain cement concrete 1:1½:3 (1 cement : 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) with HRWR @ 1% of cement in retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including ogee spillway glacis or like the surface etc., up to floor five level with initial lead of 30 meter , excluding the cost of mechanical carriage, loading & unloading , taxes, centering, shuttering and finishing

Providing and laying M70 ( A 20 ) high performance concrete produced by Concrete Mixer with Digital Weighing System for retaining walls, return walls, walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapets, coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, sunken floor, Spillway glacis, Stilling basin etc.for super structure (i.e. 1.50 m from ground floor / ground level and up to floor five level ), excluding the cost of centering, shuttering , finishing , carriage, loading and unloading , taxes etc , complete . (Note :- Mix proportion for M70 A20 high performance concrete , the quantity considered in this item is OPC 53 grade - @ 540 kg / Cum , Silica fume @ 76.00 kg / Cum , high range water reducing admixtures (HRWRA) of poly carboxylic ethers (PCE) @ 8.008 kg / Cum, River sand @ 669 kg / Cum and Pakur - Jharkand Stone Aggregate 20 to 10 mm size @ 574kg / Cum & Stone Aggregate 10 to 4.75 mm size @ 574kg / Cum ) Note:Injection of non- shrink cement grout (Contact Groutting) between Glacis Steel liner and new cocncrete of Spillway Glacis will be in the scope of work i.e " Providing and laying M70 ( A 20 ) high performance concrete .Hence, no sepaperate payment shall be payable for Injection of non- shrink cement grout.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge.Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only forexecution of all items for such works.

Dismantling of Structures (Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead of 1000 metres) Steel work in all types of sections upto a height of 5 m above plinth level excluding cutting of rivet.

Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work by using material grade IS 2062- E350A/BR, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required, in gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works up to height of 20 meter.

Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) on steel work at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete.

Providing and inserting nipples with approved fixing compound after drilling holes for grouting as per Technical specifications including subsequent cutting/removal and sealing of the hole as necessary of nipples after completion of grouting with Cement/Epoxy

Sealing of cracks/porous concrete by injection process through nipples of grout hole with Cement Grout complete as per Technical specification.

Loading and Unloading of Stone Boulder/Stone aggregates / Sand / Kanker / Moorum.

Loading and Unloading of Cement or Steel by Manual Means and Stacking.

Cost of Haulage Excluding Loading and Unloading Surfaced Road.

Installation and commissioning of pump set for pumping out water including (i) Mechanical transport within lead of 0.50 Km, manual carriage, loading, unloading and fixing, (ii) Laying and fixing of suction or delivery hose and (iii) Return of all materials (whatever issued by NHPC LTD) to site store after completion of work etc. complete as directed by Engineer - In - Charge. (The required pumps, suction or delivery hose shall be provided by NHPC on free of cost to contractor on returnable basis). Premium @ 12 %need not required to load in estimate.

Pumping out water caused by springs, tidal or river seepage, drains, leakage water from Radial Gates and the like including (a) shifting the pump as and when required according to concrete laying (b) Minor miscellaneous and occasional works such as i) changing of pipe line and its repairing to prevent the leakage ii) Cleaning of pump suction, ii) Removal of sediments / debris / slush and the like accumulated at sump, (c) Making sump for dewatering by providing temporary bund with sand/earth filled bags including core wall etc.(Pumps along with pipes and electricity kept on free of cost). Premium @ 12 %need not required to load in estimate.

Excavation in hilly area in ordinary rock not requiring blasting by Manual means including cutting and trimming of slopes and disposal of cut material with all lift and lead upto 50 metres.

Structural repair with Cementious Mortar 16 mm thick (12 mm to 20 mm) in one or two coats complies to or with EN 1504-3 (R4) with Performance Characteristic such as Compressive strength ≥ 45 MPa, Adhesive bond ≥ 2.0 MPa in the concrete of spillway piers, retaining wall of stilling basin and like surface ( Up to 3.00 m height from ground floor / ground level) etc complete; including cutting / chipping the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing the surface but the rate is excluding the cost of carriage, loading and unloading , taxes.

Fabrication and Supply of 9 meter long modified solid stainless steel Sill Beam [(Forging/Plate,C/S,AISI:420/20Cr13(H&T) /AISI:410/12Cr12(H&T)] for Spillway Radial Gate including 36mm dia threaded anchors with double nut , washers and 16 mm dia dowel bar and injection of chemical adhesives etc. as per drawing. The rate is inclusive the cost of mechanical carriage, loading & unloading etc. but exclusive of GST & BOCW and installation at site.

Fabrication and Supply of (9.75+1.2*2+0.15*2) meter long modified solid stainless steel Sill Beam [(Forging/Plate,C/S, AISI:420/20Cr13(H&T) /AISI:410/12Cr12(H&T)] for Stop Log Gate including 36mm dia threaded anchors with double nut , washers and 16 mm dia dowel bar and injection of chemical adhesives etc. as per drawing. The rate is inclusive the cost of mechanical carriage, loading & unloading and packing & forwarding etc. but exclusive of GST & BOCW and installation at site.(The drawings issued are provisional and revised drawings may incorporated at any time if required but the quoted rate is firm and final).
