Item description
Cleaning of Lancashire boiler
Overhauling of feed check valve including machining of valve seats and refabrication of valve spindle

Positions of reduced thickness to be built up by electric arc welding with pre post heat treatment and dressed smooth to original shape and thickness
Supply and fitting of new IBR quality fusible plugs (2 nos.) in original manner with IBR test certificate and approval from Boiler inspector
Cutting out of old adaptors 2 nos, fabrication of two new adaptors from HT bar and then welding the same in the boiler
Staggered and isolated pitting observed at 3 to 6 o clock position of the boiler front end plate, near mud hole during inspection. The position where the thickness gauging was carried are to be built up by electric arc welding with pre post heat treatment and dressed smooth to original shape and thickness
Complete preparation for hydraulic test by blanking of all the mounting pads of the boiler and fitting of 1 inch wheel valve
Pressure test of the boiler at 1.5 times of the working pressure in presence of Dy Director of Boilers, WB.After successful testing and certification, the boiler is to be commissioned for firing
