Supply and fix ductile iron pressure pipes, class K9, centrifugally cast with socket spigot ends, conforming to IS 8329/2000 with cement mortar lining inside the pipes and zinc coating outside the pipe suitable for push-on-joint (rubber gasket D jointing) in any length including DI Specials as required at site complete confirming to IS 8329/2000 and all jointing materials etc. and making good disturbed surfaces of roads, path ways etc. while laying the pipe line at site, site clearance for route of pipe line, welding, cutting the existing CI/ DI/ MS pipe line of any size up to 400 mm dia for inserting branch connections etc. complete all as specified and directed for the following sizes of pipes:- Note: (i) Lead Joints / D-Joints will be measured and paid separately. Cutting the existing road straight by manual, depth and width not less than 30 Cm for pipes up to 100 mm dia, 60 Cm for pipes from 150 mm to 200 mm dia and 75 Cm for pipes above 250 mm dia and filling back with excavated soil up to 75 % road portion and 25 % shall be made good with cement concrete 1:2:4 type B2, using 20 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates as in coping including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for stone masonry walling of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded ,bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:4 for Pipe line pillars/ Posts complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of brick/ stone masonry wall or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 surface is to be finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for 3mm thick mild steel sheet cover, welded to 50mm x 50mm x 6mm mild steel angle frame fixed with mild steel flat iron hold fasts of size 20mm x 6mm embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 coping 50 mm thick, mild steel butt hinges heavy weight with locking arrangement, mild steel handles and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer to all steel surfaces including demolition of old valve chamber covers complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for cleaning of following RCC overhead reservoir, underground sump/ semi underground sump of any size and any height of staging by using mechanical means and scientific cleaning by carrying out the following stages of cleaning process for disinfection of surfaces complete all as specified and directed:-(a) Cleaning of all external surfaces with hot water and Odor removal.(b) The inner surface of the walls and ceilings of the tank shall be cleaned with high pressure jet pump after dewatering in the tank.(c) After thorough cleaning of the tank, removal of algal calcination and other dust particles with high pressure including hot water treatment @ 50 degree centigrade. (d) Vacuum cleaning and sludge shall be removed by using pump and the sludge has to be disposed off at places as directed. (e) After removing the sludge from tank, the floor and inner surfaces of the tank shall be cleaned by using an industrial vacuum cleaner and the tank shall be made fully dust free and disinfection with bio-degradable chemical/ anti-bacterial spray and surfaces to be proven nontoxic.
(f) After the treatment as mentioned at (e) above, the inner surface of walls and ceiling shall be treated with UV Radiation/ Ozonisation with UV rays. (g) After complete treatment is carried out, all inlet, over flow, delivery, wash out pipes, ladder and doors shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel black paint after thorough cleaning the surfaces and also the surfaces of sluice valves shall be painted with post office red paint and writing "capacity of tank, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning" on walls in black paint with white back ground with suitable size of letters as directed.(h) The wire mesh of ventilators of the tank shall be replaced with new GI wire mesh.

Notes for serial item No 21.00 to 21.70:-(i) The unit rate quoted deemed to be including draining of water with mechanical equipment and working in water, mud, etc.(ii) The unit rate quoted deemed to be include all safety precautions which shall be taken while working on RCC overhead tank /underground sump and contractor or his engineer shall be available during execution of the job.(iii) Lighting arrangements if required to be provided by the contractor temporarily at his own arrangements and the amount quoted for that is deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate and electricity/ diesel shall not be provided by the MES.(iv) Contractor will not be allowed more than one day to do the work inside of the each OH Tank / UG Sump to prevent interruption of water supply to the users.
Material and labour for cleaning of collapsed RCC underground sump/ semi underground sump of 80,000 gallons capacity at Madgaon in any size and shape and depth/ height by using mechanical means and scientific cleaning by carrying out the following stages of cleaning process for disinfection of surfaces complete all as specified and directed:-(a) Removing all collapsed RCC slabs, steel particles and dust/ dirt/ garbage by manual without disturbing the existing structure by employing sufficient labour.(b) Cleaning of all external surfaces with hot water and Odor removal.(c) The inner surface of the walls and ceilings of the tank shall be cleaned with high pressure jet pump after dewatering in the tank.(d) After thorough cleaning of the tank, removal of algal calcination and other dust particles with high pressure including hot water treatment @ 50 degree centigrade. (e) Vacuum cleaning and sludge shall be removed by using pump and the sludge has to be disposed off at a place as directed.
Material and labour for applying painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour on centrifugal pump set of capacity from 20 HP to 60 HP including inlet, outlet mains, coupling, sluice valve, non-return valve, base plate, pulley with safe guard, vacuum pipe line, LT panel board and writing the MES/ SM number with black paint of suitable size of letters including complete removal of existing treatment and preparation of old painted surfaces by washing, rubbing down and stopping of painted surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
All as per item No 23.00 here in before but for 3 HP to 20 HP centrifugal pump set complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for painting to steel structure/ panels with approved colour of synthetic enamel paint one coat by using spray gun machine including preparation of smooth surface for painting complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of necessary repairs like welding the doors/ hinges to panel board doors and other misc. petty repairs as required at site complete all as specified and as directed.
Material and labour for applying synthetic enamel paint of approved colour by spray gun machine painting to Generator Set of any capacity up to 250 KVA capacity including base plate, diesel tank, exhaust pipe, etc. including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix piezo metric level indicator set in any location, any size up to 1.5 lakh gallons capacity including provision of scale in centimetres marked in white paint over black painted background, on a 100 mm wide x 1 mm thick mild steel plate, 3 m in height fixed on angle iron frame and two clear glass tubes of 20mm dia duly clamped and mounted in the centre of the scale for indicating the level of water in the underground/ overhead reservoirs including provision of float ball, pulleys, angle iron stiffeners, hold fasts in cement concrete, necessary painting, etc. required at site including taking down old unserviceable water level indicators of any type complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix pressure gauge suitable for water supply of range 0 to 50 Kgs. Including taking down old unserviceable pressure gauges of any type and capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note: Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of making provision to fix Pressure gauge and necessary fixing accessories required at site complete.
Material and labour for double sided glow sign board size 1.25M x 1.25M, showing location /details of power house /tech area and writing of letters (Block, Roman, Italic) on flex sheets and the sides of perimeter covered with PGI sheet 24 SWG, properly overlapped or mounted on MS angle iron frame 35mm x 35mm x 5mm 'H' frame with cross bracing, embedded in PCC bed lock of size 300mm x 300mm x 450mm with mix 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate and the MS frames shall be applied with two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer with and including providing 03 Nos tube lights 40W inside the board with necessary point wiring with copper cable complete all as specified and directed.
Surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in hard/ dense soil including removal of surplus soil not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
