Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth of pot hole exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm including rolling over the broken surfaces using 8 to 10 tonnes power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of lime stone, sand stone, flint or quartzite of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or of grading 3 (53 to 22.4 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with three wheel-power roller of 80 to 100 kN capacity or an equivalent vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer (paving grade bitumen VG-10 grade) @ 10 kg per 10 sq metres complete all as specified & as directed.

M & L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer (paving grade bitumen VG-10 grade) @ 5 kg per 10 sq metres complete all as specified & as directed.

M & L for semi dense bituminous concrete 40 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 4.5% by weight of total mix & hydraulic lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. (ii) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined following the Marshall Mix Design procedure contained in the Asphalt Institute Manual MS-2 (Sixth Edition) as referred in case 3.5.3 of IRC 111: 2009. The adjustment in rate due to variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹55 per kg.

S&F Solar Studs reflector size 100x100x21mm , 2 Nos each side LEDs, Wt 360 grams approximate complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-charge. (Model- JUGNU, Make- DARK EYE or equivalent as given in Appx 'B')

Providing and fixing in repairs Glow studs (cat's eye) of size 80 to 100 mm X 80 to 100 mm X 15 to 20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The cats eye shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35⁰ ± 5⁰ to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for preparation of new or previously treated surface and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10 cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for15 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, in two layers of 75mm thk each (each layer to be rolled and cosolidated separately) with coarse aggregates of sand stone, flint or quartzite of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with three wheel-power roller of 80 to 120 kN capacity or an equivalent vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for bituminous concrete 40 mm (compacted thickness) using graded crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5% by weight of total mix & hydraulic lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i) Semi dense bituminous concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi-automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F road delonators made out of GSW CRCA pipe of 50 mm dia with tetro reflective sheet 10 cm high inside cage ht delinator 60 cm embeded in PCC as in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F road convex mirrors outdoor type made of one piece polycarbonate of size 80 cms including fixing with mounting pole and necessary foundations and filling with M-15 type B-1 20 mm aggregates, complete all as specified and as directed.
