Excavation in earthwork in hilly area in all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etcetera and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not for 1208.68 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful materials for construction at suitable sites and construction of dumping sites to be arranged by the contractor for safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in all leads and lifts to the dumping site, site in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not for 467.70 (Four hundred sixty seven point seventy) Cubic Meter in all cases at the rate of Rupees 300/- only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases

Excavation in soil in hilly area for all type of road structure by manual means/mechanical means in all type of classification of soils comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock and chiselling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slope and disposing of excavated earth in all heights and depths as per drawing and Technical specification of rural roads clause 1603.1. All useful materials such as stones, shingles, aggregates and slates etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road berms properly. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of work shall be the absolute responsibility of the contactor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases including entire carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structures such as Retaining walls, Breast Walls, Culverts, Drains & Parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil, comprising of ordinary soils, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing & MORD technical specifications clause 305.1, 1104 & 1606.1 and as per direction of the Engineere-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom & backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimeters) compacted thickness including shortingand strutting and pumping or bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto all depths and any quantom of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of work shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete grade M-10 (Ten) 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 sand : 6 crushed stone aggregate 20mm (Twenty milimetre nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated in parapets as per drawing and Technical specifications of rural roads clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including curing and form work and carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated P.C.C 1:6:12 ( 1 cement : 6 sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawing and Technical specificatiion for rural roads clause 802,803,1202 and 1203 and curing complete including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203) P.C.C nominal mix 1:5:10 (40mm aggregates) complete including entire carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 P.C.C grade M 15 Nominal mix (1:2.5:5) complete including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Back filling behind Retaining walls and Breast walls with granular materials upto all heights in a thickness of 600mm (Six hundred milimetre) complete as per drawings Technical specification of rural roads clauses 1204.3.8 including entire carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weapholes in stone masonry/plain reinforced concrete R/Walls, B/Walls, abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm dia (One hundred) PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slop of 1 (v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and Technical specifications of rural roads clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 900mm dia (Nine hundred millimetre) for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 sand) but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and Technical specifications of rural roads clause 1108, complete including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately) depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD specifications including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD specifications as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanical means crushed/Breaking stone aggregates of specific sizes 90mm to 45mm (Ninety milimetre to forty five milimetre) to water bound macadam specification incluidng spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN (Kilo Newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening Type-A 13.2mm(thirteen point two milimetre) @ 0.27 cum. per ten square metre binding materials @ 0.08 cum. per ten square metre to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-1 as per Technical Specification Clause 405 including entire carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanical means crushed/Breaking stone aggregates of specific sizes 63mm to 45mm (Sixty three milimetre to forty five milimetres) to water bound macadam specification incluidng spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (Kilo Newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening Type-B 11.2mm (Eleven point two milimetre) @ 0.20 cum. per ten square metre binding materials @ 0.06 cum. per ten square metre to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-2 as per Technical Specification of rural roads Clause 405 including entire carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting by mechanical means crushed stone aggregates of specific sizes 53mm to 22.4mm (firty three milimetre to twenty two point four milimetre) to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN (Kilo Newton) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening Type-B 11.2mm (eleven point two milimetre) @ 0.18 cum. per ten square metre binding material to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading-3 as per Technical Specification of rural roads Clause 405 including entire carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 Kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502 Low porosity including entire carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor @ 0.25 to 0.30 Kg. (Zeron point twenty five to Zero point thirty kilogramme) per sqaure metre on the prepared Bituminous surface cleaned with hydraulic brooms as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 503 complete incuding carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508 By Mechanical Means (VG-10) complete incuding carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Seal coat:-Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 510 by Mechanical Means Bitumen (VG-10) complete incuding carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M 15 grade ordinary kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC: 8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc. as per drawing and Technical Specification of rural roads clause 1703 complete incuding carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.Ordinary Kilometer stone.

Ordinary Kilometer stone (precast) 200 mtr. stone.

Providing and fixing of retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per IRC: 67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide Clause 1701.2.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 1.5 mm thick supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mmx75mmx6mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M 15 grade cement concrete 450mmx450mmx600mm, 600mm below ground level as per drawings and technical specification of rural roads Clause 801. 900mm equilateral triangle complete including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Printing new letter and figures of any shade with synthetic enamel paint black or any other approved colour to give an even shade as per drawings and Technical Specification clause 1701.Hindi (Matras commas and the like not to be measured and paid for Half letters shall be counted as half only) complete including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
