REPAIR / MAINT OF EOT CRANES,FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM ITH CONNECTED ITEMS AT TECH AREA AF STATION UNDER GE AVADI

M&L for alignment of longitudinal square bar 40x40mm size and cross travel square bar 40x 40mm size of 5 TON EOT Crane inside AF Tech area at 7 metre height from ground level by removing all square bars and grinding , welding including providing necessary accessories / spares such as bolts , nuts ,reail clamps of required Nos, rubber packing etc and refixing in its original position and testing for noise free and smooth functioning of LT and CT motion complete all s specified and as directed.

M&L for removing the unserviceable steel wire rope 16 Sqmm thick structure of EOT crane of 5.0 Ton capacity and S&F new steel wire rope 16 Sqmm thick structure of similar make any type complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for welding work of LT Drive shaft supports bearing block backet of 5 TON EOT crane inside AF area complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for shifting of control panel mounted on the end trolley to crane service platform for the safety during electrical maintenance all as recommended by Electrical Inspector complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PVC junction of size 2 feet x 2 feet for for shifting of control panel end trolley mounted complete all as specified and and as directed.

M&L for comprehensive maintenance of electrically operated passenger lifts installed at 23 ED HQ Building at AF Station ,lift in reliable safe and efficient operating condition through MoU with OEM (Make of Lift - TK Elevator India Pvt Ltd) by regularly examining, lubricting and adjusting the equipments and carry out planned maintenance (Monthly, Quaterly, Halfyearly and yearly) in systematic and controlled manner using techniques and expertise and replacement of all unserviceable components as covered in AMC, suitable for serving Ground+ Three floors i.e. total Four landings with electric power operated steel sliding doors installed complete all as specified and directed for the following lifts:- 23 ED HQ building at AF Station - Capacity of 08 Passanger lifts - 01 No

Notes for item No. 06 :- (a) Type of AMC category - Platinum type (b) The comprehensive maintenance shall be done throuhg OEM i.e. of M/s TK Elevator India Pvt Ltd. The lowest bidder shall submit the MoU from M/s TK Elevator India Pvt Ltd. as per standard proforma within 10 days from the date of opening of financial bid failing which bid will be rejected in financial evaluation and bid will not be accepted . (c) The maintenance included for repair, replacement of machines, motors, generators, ropes, inverter/ ARD system, controller parts, PCBs, belts, rollers, gears, bearings, solenoids, coils, chock break shoes, liners, contactors, relays, push bottons, coils, door operator VVF drive, VVVF main drive, car door, safety device limit switches, emergency alaram system with hooter,governor, hoistway door locks,magnetic switches,magnets,door motor,door drive,encoder,car door safety device, Infrared screen, governors, interlock on hoistway doors, gear oil,travelling cable, indicators, LED display boards and minor mechanical spare parts. The rate of above spares shall deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor. (d) Contractor shall conclude an AMC with OEM and copy of the agreement along with invoice will be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge and GE before commencement of work . (e) The above comprehensive maintenance shall include complete maintenance of existing lift by regularly and systematically examining adjusting fabricating as and when required for smooth and efficient functioning of the equipment/lift.

(f) Contractor shall prominently display his contact Mobile No and OEM contact No inside and outside the lift on each lift (g) All existing earthing of the lifts shall be maintained and made fully functional by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (h) The OEM shall detail one technician staff to inspect the lift every week regarding functioning of lifts or any other issues arising in the lift. The problem noticed if any to be informed immediately to JE E/M / Engineer-in-Charge. OEM Technician should laways carry service tools during the site visit. (j) Contractor or his rep shall visit the site within two hours of break down notification of lift . In case the contractor or his rep shall not come to the site of attending breakdown within two hours, a penalty of Rs 1000 per fault per day shall be imposed over contractor and shall be deduct from his due payment.

S&F 300mm sweep car cabin fan in lift with necessary accessories such as fins/ grills, nuts, bolts and wires, etc.including taking down old unserviceable fan complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for buffing for stainless stell surface inside of lift car cabin complete with using buffing machine and compound for buffing upto remove the dull outlook and rusted spots on steel surface complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs sealed maintenance free battries of 18 AH capacity of 12 Volts for suitable in ARD system complete all as specified and directed. (Make:- Exide/ Amaron/ HBL/Amco)

M&L for inspection, checking, cleaning and testing of fire alarm system 10 Zone window type complete including fire alarm panel, manual call box, hooter,wiring etc. work portion of technical buildings through trained /experianced technician of OEM complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (a) Fire Alarm control panel:- It shall be kept clean by checking for its controls, indicating equipment’s system and all operations / fault indicators including checking of panel circuits for its healthiness and including of healthy battery/UPS/battery charger system. (b) Detectors,Manual Call Point and Hooter: All items which are installed at technical buildings shall be tested by actuating the particular detectors every quaterly to ensure proper functioning of system. (c) Testing equipment shall be provided by the contractor and quoted rate shall deemed to be included for the same . (d) Making necessary arrangements of scaffaolding/ ladders etc and quoted rate shall deemed to be included for the same . (e) Spares /items (i.e manual call box,hooters,Detectors, wiring and battery) shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items .(f) Any damage to fire alaram system during maintenance shall be repaired and rectified by the contractor at his own cost. (g) Quarterly inspection shall be carried out and test report will be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge duly signed by users rep.

M&L for replacement of multi-stranded copper conductor cable 2.5 Sqmm nominal cross-sectional area, three core, PVC insulated and unsheathed FRLS cable 1100 volts grade for wiring fixed on wall/ceiling/roof trusses with suitable dia steel/pvc conduit pipe complete with thimbles and ferrules as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for repair and rectification of faults occurs in Fire Alaram panel addressable type multi sensor and detectors with connected accessories complete all as specified and direted.

S&F in replacement of detectors complying with and type certified to EN - 45 Addressable type smoke detector Photo electric /Optical with base with self built intelligence as per IS: 11360 with connected and fixing accessories complete including taking down the unserviceable smoke detector with accessories all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of detectors complying with and type certified to EN - 45 Addressable type multisensor detector with heat and smoke combination Photoelectric /Optical with base with self built intelligence as per IS: 11360 with connected and fixing accessories complete including taking down the unserviceable multisensor detector with accessories all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of detectors complying with and type certified to EN - 45 Addressable type heat detector with base with rate of rise cum fixed temperature as per lS:2175 Photoelectric /Optical with base with self built intelligence as per IS: 11360 with connected and fixing accessories complete including taking down unserviceable heat detector with accessories all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of sealed maintenance free battries of 12 volts 7 AH capacity for fire alaram panels, capable of running min of 4 hours back up complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of flush mounted 16 gauge MS sheet Manual Call Box with micro switch with transparent hinged vandal resistanat cover,red colour complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of wall mounted speaker (electronic hooter) in acoustically treated box with 4 watt speaker, Hi-Intensive sound (80 to 100 db), Colour Red complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for complete servicing after disconnecting electrical connections of fire fighting jocky pump motor pumpset and decoupling the pump and motor, suction and delivery pipe, transporting Motor pump set to work shop. Deassemble the pump set, removing, replacing the worn out bushes / bearing service the pump set complete, and removing pump shaft repair by lathe work for proper alignment, replace thurst bearing, impellar, brass bush, CI bowl assembley, rubber coupling,washers, nuts and bolts with one coat of primer & two coat of synthetic enamel paint after scraping the body surface of pump with emery paper,writing letters,assemble the motor pumpset ,transporting to site, coupling, connecting electrical & pipe connections including testing complete for 180 LPM capacity, 70 Mtr head all as specified and directed. Note :- Spare part such as bearing, bush , oil, grease lathe work if required etc shall be provided by the contractor and quoted rate shall be inclusive for above .

M&L for complete servicing by disconnecting electrical connections of main electrical driven centrifugal fire pump motor pumpset having capacity 2280 LPM, 70 metre head and dischrge pressure 3.5 Kg / Sqcm and decoupling the pump and motor, suction and delivery pipe, transporting Motor pump set to work shop ,deassemble the pump set, removing, replacing the worn out bushes / bearing service the pump set complete, and removing pump shaft repair by lathe work for proper alignment, replace thurst bearing, impellar, brass bush, CI bowl assembley, rubber coupling,washers, nuts and bolts with one coat of primer & two coats of synthetic enamel paint after scraping the body surface of pump with emery paper,writing letters,assemble the motor pumpset ,transporting to site coupling, connecting electrical & pipe connections including testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Spare part such as bearing, bush , oil, grease lathe work if required etc shall be provided by the contractor and quoted rate shall be inclusive for above .

M&L for carrying out "B" check for fire fighting deisel Engine and pump having capacity ,2280LPM , 70 metre head and discharge capacity 3.5Kg/ Sqcm as per Manufacturer's recommendation including replacement of necessary spares and filters such as fuel filter, Air filter , SLO Bypass filter and lub oil filter complete including rectification of minor defects and accessories like nuts, nbolts, O rings etc cleaning of radiatior and coolant tank with air blower, drain out old engine oil and coolant and replace with new engine oil and coolant as per existing grade & coolant and tuning of engine all as speficied and as directed by Enginner in Charge.

S&F in replacement of tubular battery 12v , 180Ah capacity with connecting up and testing complete; including taking down existing unserviceable Battery , all as specified and as directed. Make : Luminous,Amaron, Exide

M&L for repair / maintenance of centrifugal pumps motor electric driven for 60HP capacity and dismantling and opening complete motor under mention cap and segrigated all serviceable parts and kept at site for reuse including rewinding motor with supper enamled wire of suitable gauge complete , and replacing bushes, bearing, check nut, and other required parts and varnishing the same including painting of motor and making the motor functionable including servicing, cleaning,greasing, overhauling, re-alignment with lock,key,nut, bolts,washers and reassembling the same and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for detecting leakage in MS/ ERW pipe of fire fighting system line 150mm dia in any location , any depth including necessary earth work excavation and reparing and arresting the leakages by providing necessary welding work at site complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Flange / Collar piece as required for rectification work shall included in the quoted rate and nohing extra shall be paid to the contractor.

M&L for detecting leakage in MS/ ERW pipe of fire fighting system line 100/80 mm dia in any location , any depth including necessary earth work excavation and reparing and arresting the leakages by providing necessary welding work at site complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Flange / Collar piece as required for rectification work shall included in the quoted rate and nohing extra shall be paid to the contractor.

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx3.15mm thick buried in ground vertical to a depth not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to copper strip of size 20mm x 3.0 mm thick and 40 mm dia bore, 7.5 m long, light grade GI protection pipe for earth strip and GI watering pipe 40 mm dia medium grade from the top edge of earth plate fixed with deep cut on one end of pipe and fix from earth plate up to one feet above ground level of other end and plugged watering pipe at top with MS cap and grouted in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of size 300 X 300 X 300 mm and 150 mm alternate layer of charcoal and salt around all sides of earth plate all as shown in electric plate no 3 of SSR part I of 2009. Note :- Earth plate shall be fixed with welded joints.

Supply and laying and welding MS (ERW) pipe 100mm nominal dia conforming to IS. 1239 (Heavy grade) in trenches/ on wall / roof / surface complete with fittings/ flanges including applying anti corrosive treatment, (wrapping of two layers of 2 mm thick multi-layer anticorrosive polymeric mix tape applied over a coat of primer) and testing complete all as specified

All as per item No 27 above but for 150mm dia

M&L for replacement of RRL Hose pipe 63mm dia , 15 mtr long having male and female coupling conforming to IS 903 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of MS/ERW fire fighting pipe upto 100mm dia by scrapping out the old faded paint and applying two coats of red oxide paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for painting of MS/ERW fire fighting pipe 150mm dia by scrapping out the old faded paint and applying two coats of red oxide paint complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of suction strainer ball type thread/ flanged type 150 mm dia including providing new leather sheet by dismantling and taking up existing unserviceable old foot valve as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed .

S&F in replacement of 80mm bore hand operated butterfly valve of pressure not less than 15 Kg / Sqcm with complete set all as specified.

S&F in replacement of sluice valve flanged & drilled holes type of size 150mm bore with high tensile S/S spindle duly ISI marked class PN 1.6 with jointing material and nut, bolt, washer complete including dismandling of old sluice valve complate all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of sluice valve flanged & drilled holes type of size 80mm bore with high tensile S/S spindle duly ISI marked class PN 1.6 with jointing material and nut, bolt, washer complete including dismandling of old sluice valve complate all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of cast iron flanged, non return valves, 80mm dia ,swing check type of PN 1.6 rating , conforming to relevant IS specifications and providing and fixing nuts, bolts, washers, gaskets etc. complete as required. (for electric and diesel pump).

S&F in replacement of 150mm bore hand operated butterfly valve of pressure not less than 15 Kg / Sqcm with complete set all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of single headed hydrants 80mm dia, 1.5 metre height , flanged inlet with 63mm female instantaneous outlet of gun metal complete with blank caps, chain conforming to IS 5290-1977 and ISI marked. (For yard hydrant)

S&F in replacement old rusted hose box suitable for hose reel of size 20 mm , 30 meter length complete with coupling branch pipe and nozzle , MS sheet 2 mm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement of fire hydrant landing valve 80mm dia, flanged inlet with 63mm female instantaneous outlet of gun metal complete with blank caps, chain conforming to IS 5290-1977 and ISI marked. (6 Nos for yard hydrant and 11 Nos for wet riser system)

S&F in replacement of Gun metal branch pipe 63mm dia and 12.5 mm nozzle conforming to IS specifications complete all as specified.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of CI/GI water tubing and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point completed all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in soil including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm completed all as specified and directed. General Notes:- The tenderer shall visit the site of work with prior permission of GE and ascertain the actual make model of plant/ equipments and conditions of the plants and scope of work. Make and size of items shall be provided by the contractor as per existing .
